20/10/2025: We were here as a couple in love in 2007 and returned as a family in October 2025! In the meantime, the chef has voluntarily given up his two stars, doesn't read social media reviews, and now cooks purely out of passion for his guests. A great attitude! We let Monsieur Rabanel decide what we should eat. It was totally exciting and we enjoyed it immensely. We had several courses for 95 euros. Among other dishes, there was fish, mussels with vegetables and chorizo ​​(we've never experienced such a combination before), vegetarian dishes with a combination of mushrooms and scallops on fennel wood, Camargue bull fillet (Taurreau), and finally, Pavlova with pear. We had an excellent meal, the staff was friendly, and the wine selection was good, even served by the glass. Oh well, maybe the chef will read our review after all... he so deserves it. 09/12/2025: The restaurant is decent, though some dishes lack flavor. To get the full menu, it's best to arrive early, as there's not much left by the time you arrive late. And you might even see pigeons wandering around inside.

18/01/2026: Very negative review. We came for a drink one evening, and the noise level gradually increased throughout the night until we couldn't hear ourselves speak (even shouting), even though we were far from the dance floor. Five days later, my ears still hurt! I've never experienced anything like it, not even at a concert! The legal noise levels were clearly not respected at a simple evening event where music was being played. What's the point of damaging customers' hearing? There's clearly no 90 dB limiter (which I know well because I do the sound for a community bar). So, it's a real shame in what is otherwise a nice place. I regret coming!

08/07/2025: Daily bread???? At that price, I'd be surprised, unless your name is Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos!! 1 espresso and a pain au chocolat: €6.10!! Crazy, even for Aix-en-Provence.

07/07/2025: Very expensive for what it is. Two 25cl beers for €6.50 each, and two ham and Comté sandwiches for €15 each, which consist of four half-slices of bread, three centimeter-long pieces of Comté cheese, and four small slices of ham (and one cherry tomato per plate). We arrived here by chance and we won't be back, that's for sure. We feel like we've been taken for fools—luxury ones, certainly, but fools nonetheless.

13/12/2024: A little address close to home that I am delighted to have discovered! They will see me there very often. Family atmosphere, cuisine as if you were eating at my grandmother's house, while remaining refined! I loved it so much!

25/10/2025: We chose this ice cream parlor because there are tables available to enjoy it on site. The homemade ice creams are made by Franck's uncle. They are frankly delicious; the whipped cream, although not homemade, is really very good too. Excellent churros! Franck gives very good advice, welcoming and attentive, his added value: his friendly smile.

02/02/2026: Very disappointed! I never leave reviews, but this restaurant is best avoided. My friend got sick immediately after the meal. And I couldn't even finish a simple salad called "salmon duo" that was swimming in a cheap supermarket salad dressing. The food is of poor quality.

26/01/2026: Fantastic experience at Le Petit Bistrot! The waiter was incredibly attentive and offered excellent advice, especially regarding the wine selection, and he was also very generous with the portions 😄 My partner and I ordered the foie gras burger: a real treat, perfectly balanced and incredibly flavorful. We finished with a light and airy chocolate mousse, exactly the perfect ending to the meal. A truly wonderful place, we'll definitely be back.

27/09/2024: Authentic and well-managed place, with quality food and a splendid view of the Notre-Dame de la Garde cathedral. Recommended by our B&B, we showed up at 9pm without a reservation, during our first evening in Marseille. Despite the time, they welcomed us with an outdoor table, clean tablecloths, fresh flowers and dishes that embody true local tradition. The bouillabaisse is absolutely unmissable. The friendly and attentive staff guided us in tasting the dishes, making the experience even more authentic. The glass of white wine was also excellent, which completed the meal perfectly. You never have the impression of being in a place for tourists: the atmosphere is genuinely local and the prices are honest. Every corner of the restaurant is carefully curated, enriched with artistic details and curious objects that tell the story of the passion of those who manage it. I would only suggest taking better care of the plating of the main courses because they don't look good in the photo..
