20/09/2026: Very satisfied with our experience this Sunday, September 20, 2026. The service was impeccable. Marilyn and Kevin were welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our meals: beef tartare, Milanese-style escalope, beef skewers, tiramisu, and profiteroles. All enjoyed on a lovely shaded terrace. Thank you to the whole team.

16/09/2026: A pleasant surprise, found along our route. Clearly many regulars, which reassured us. Friendly staff, especially the brunette waitress with her charming accent. We had a good lunch today at a reasonable price.

14/09/2026: Hair in the plate. No gesture of goodwill from the unpleasant owner!

12/09/2026: Fish in an aioli crust? I didn't find the crust, just aioli sauce baked on top, which made the fish very, very greasy and unpleasant, leaving an oily aftertaste. Disappointed several times before, this was the last time; I won't be going back.

Special mention goes to the two waitresses, Assia and Juliette, who are always very friendly, smiling, and professional.

10/10/2026: This brasserie is one of my go-to spots in Marseille. My daughter works nearby and often has lunch there. I take the bus to visit her when I'm staying with her, and it's always a real pleasure to be there. An elderly gentleman gives us a warm welcome, there's a lovely terrace, and the interior is quite nice too. The food is absolutely delicious; you're never disappointed. It's more than just good and the portions are generous. The servers are incredibly friendly and energetic. I recommend it 200%!

21/10/2026: To my great surprise, having been here before, the service was very cold, except for the child accompanying us, who was treated by the older waitress. There was a mistake with my beer, and the glass contained water residue from its last wash. As for me, the pork chop was dry, and the mashed potatoes were barely at an acceptable temperature. I didn't want to spoil the atmosphere for the group. I don't think I'll be back.

The dishes are delicious, beautifully presented, and made with top-quality ingredients. Everything is done with care, and it truly shows in the experience. Special mention goes to the impeccable service: a professional, friendly, attentive, and exceptionally welcoming team. This is rare enough to be worth highlighting. A truly wonderful restaurant in Aix-en-Provence, which I recommend without hesitation. A sure bet where you know you'll have a fantastic time.

27/09/2026: We were very disappointed by L’Escaladou. Given the prices and the numerous positive reviews, we expected much better. The ingredients were very low quality: the salt cod brandade, served in a tiny bowl, resembled mashed potatoes, and the poultry dish was cafeteria-style. And to top it all off, the owner forced us to share our table with other customers, without giving us a choice. Very disappointing value for money. We will not be returning.

27/09/2026: A very good, authentic restaurant with truly homemade cuisine, yet very reasonably priced considering the quality. I absolutely recommend it.

10/10/2026: False advertising! The restaurant closes at midnight!!! We drove all the way there because the online hours said 2 AM, as did the signs outside! Outrageous! So we went to McDonald's Les Milles, which is open until 1 AM, as stated on their website.

06/10/2026: A top-notch Burger King! The employees are always smiling and helpful. A huge plus compared to all other Burger Kings worldwide is their employee Milan, who is fantastic—the service is impeccable! Thank you for your hospitality :)
