15/04/2026: We had a wonderful time last August at Mas des Écureuils. We found refuge there after a holiday that started in an unsanitary resort. They literally saved our family vacation. Everyone is lovely, from the owners to the housekeeping and kitchen staff, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the food is delicious (special mention for the prawns). A haven of peace, happiness, and serenity, just a stone's throw from Aix-en-Provence. "It was absolutely fantastic," signed Iona. We can't wait to go back.

28/12/2025: Andrea and I stayed at this property immediately after the 2025 Ferragosto holiday, for the second time, and once again we were greeted with truly special hospitality. Claudia, with her kindness and attentiveness, reserved us a beautiful room with a terrace, equipped with all the essential comforts. The location is ideal: a little outside of Aix-en-Provence, yet easily accessible from the city center in less than a quarter of an hour, and with a supermarket nearby. From here, during our motorcycle holiday, we were able to visit wonderful places like Gordes, Lourmarin, Roussillon, and the spectacular Ochre Hills, without sacrificing a day in Marseille and returning to our beloved city of Aix in the evening. The property is surrounded by a beautiful park with tall trees that contribute to a relaxing and protected atmosphere. We also enjoyed an intimate dinner on the terrace, under the moonlight, a truly special moment. There's a beautiful pool and it's a popular but never chaotic property: its compact size allows for total tranquility. There's also a restaurant, but what we cherish most is the feeling of being a refuge, a true oasis of peace. And above all, Claudia's warm, almost affectionate hospitality truly makes all the difference. It was three days of total well-being and relaxation, in a romantic place perfect for couples. We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much, Claudia!

09/05/2026: I'm giving the food 3 stars because we only had an aperitif. The service was very pleasant, it was a great Saturday 😁, there was some nice music playing, the customers were friendly, and it was a lively place – perfect for starting the sunny season. We'll definitely go back to the restaurant. Special mention for the interior decor and the simple yet effective location on the port.

As for the desserts, I was assured they were homemade, but I have my doubts about the chocolate fondant (which was very good)! But overall, it was good.

14/05/2026: Disappointing experience. We arrived on a Saturday at lunchtime without a reservation. The restaurant was almost empty, but we were told twice that it normally only operates on a reservation basis, without any real explanation. I'm still curious to know the reasoning behind this; I imagine it's related to inventory management? In that case, how far in advance do we need to book? It's unusual, but why not? With a little explanation, it could actually be a good way to start. In short, a rather lukewarm welcome. A high chair was offered for our 2-year-old. Looking at the menu, we were surprised by the €20 children's menu, which we felt was unsuitable for a very young child. When we asked if there was an alternative, the response seemed curt, and the waiter appeared hostile: either the set menu or a €3 plate of fries. A real sense of unease settled in. Our pleasant moment turned into an unpleasant experience, so we preferred to leave before ordering, something we've never done before. The departure remained cordial; I apologized for the table being set and the carafe of water being poured. This review is left to warn families who might spontaneously come with young children. The establishment will certainly suit other people in a different context.

10/05/2026: I stumbled upon this restaurant while leaving Ikea, and I highly recommend it. The service is quick and very professional, the portions are generous, and the meat is excellent. The owner and the waiter are very attentive. Note: reservations are required before arriving at the restaurant. We were lucky; arriving at the end of service, the owner admitted us even without a reservation.

30/05/2026: We received a very warm welcome from a lovely couple who did everything they could to make us comfortable, even though our reservation for four had disappeared from the answering machine. They had a group of 30 people to serve! The sauce served with our dishes was delicious...unfortunately, I forgot to ask for the recipe.

10/06/2026: Gusto Caffee is a lovely restaurant with a beautiful garden where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere. Although we had not made a reservation, there was fortunately still a table available, and we received a warm welcome. The menu is extensive and offers plenty of choices for everyone. I chose the veal schnitzel and was pleasantly surprised by both the generous portion size and the excellent flavor and preparation. My colleague ordered the lasagna, which was equally impressive and thoroughly enjoyed. We finished our meal with a delicious cup of coffee. The prices are very reasonable, offering great value for money. All in all, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
