23/04/2024: We celebrated our daughter's birthday at this restaurant and our experience was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the waitress and the entire team were incredibly welcoming and caring, not only for us, but also for our dog and our little girl, which made our lunch even more special. The traditional cuisine was delicious, and the limited choice on the menu is a guarantee of freshness and quality of the products, and a very affordable price. A big thank you to the whole team for making this birthday unforgettable. We will come back without hesitation! With gratitude, Nathalie & my little family

10/09/2024: The pancake was okay, version with egg, ham and cheese. What was not okay: I waited at the counter for good couple minutes and was ignored the whole time while the woman was doing other things. I understand it’s a small business and lots of things to take care of but I would appreciate at least being acknowledged and informed I need to wait a moment to place an order. Another thing that was not okay: I don’t speak French so at the beginning we talked in English and everything was okay but when it came to the payment the woman suddenly turned back to French and seemed to pretended not to know English. :) And when I was served my pancake the waiter has put my plate - according to my French-speaking colleague I was with - she used a very rude and sarcastic saying in French meaning “there is your second pancake”. As if there was something wrong I ordered two pancakes? I don’t understand. It was a very weird and uncomfortable visit, both women were rude and off putting even though I did my best to be respectful and considerate taking into account my lacking in French language skills.

20/07/2024: Very bad experience. We have wanted to try this restaurant for several months. The setting is magnificent, the heights of the beautiful village of Mimet. Totally overwhelmed waiter who runs everywhere, who remains friendly. Table which sticks. “Gastronomic” Italian cuisine… my wife was served a simple risotto and for my part, I let myself be tempted by a Milanese escalope….. very beautiful and good piece of meat, totally spoiled by a taste of oil!! Soaked in oil... I'm a good eater, I couldn't finish it because I was sick! We didn’t dare to have dessert due to our disappointment! Honestly, it's either bad luck that day (given the other reviews), Bad evening. Nothing “Gastronomic”, Italian cuisine yes. So the prices are a little excessive for what you eat. Damage! Lack of background music as well... No sympathy from the manager when paying, no exchange, nor to know if everything had gone well, just there to collect. Very disappointed!!

17/09/2024: Brasserie recommandée, mais quelle déception! Une table réservée dans la véranda. Places imposée en salle sans ménagement. Erreurs dans les prises de commandes. Deux hamburgers dont les cuissons de la viande ne correspondait pas. Qualité de celle-ci très médiocre (nerfs, tendons…). Viande non assaisonnée et froide, crue. Remarques faites au serveur. Simples excuses. Nous n’y reviendrons plus. Il y a à Arles bien d’autres brasseries de meilleure qualité.

12/09/2024: I am disappointed with the attitude of one of the waiters, Hugo told me during my visit. After having “dared” to have a few more “Le Craquant” coffee cakes, he asked me to pay an additional €2!?, which was not clearly indicated. It was not so much the fact of paying, but rather his bitter or even unpleasant attitude that made the experience embarrassing. Furthermore, it seems that he put the money directly in his pocket?!, which left a bad impression on me. Too bad! Maybe he needs a vacation after a busy summer? It's up to the boss to decide. Fortunately, another server, Jérémy, was much more pleasant and helpful. The food was generally good, the dishes were well presented.

27/09/2024: Authentic and well-managed place, with quality food and a splendid view of the Notre-Dame de la Garde cathedral. Recommended by our B&B, we showed up at 9pm without a reservation, during our first evening in Marseille. Despite the time, they welcomed us with an outdoor table, clean tablecloths, fresh flowers and dishes that embody true local tradition. The bouillabaisse is absolutely unmissable. The friendly and attentive staff guided us in tasting the dishes, making the experience even more authentic. The glass of white wine was also excellent, which completed the meal perfectly. You never have the impression of being in a place for tourists: the atmosphere is genuinely local and the prices are honest. Every corner of the restaurant is carefully curated, enriched with artistic details and curious objects that tell the story of the passion of those who manage it. I would only suggest taking better care of the plating of the main courses because they don't look good in the photo..

10/08/2024: The pizzas are always excellent, have been for years, and the prices are really fair. Human contact is great too, and whether on the phone or in person, the people we have had have always been very nice. The waiting times are really short too, even in the middle of rush hour, we only waited 30 minutes for 5 pizzas! I worked in catering, and only 30 minutes in rush hour, really well done. In short, I thoroughly recommend 😉
