28/04/2026: We held our daughter's christening at L'Olivade on a Saturday at lunchtime. The restaurant was reserved exclusively for us. There were 28 adults and 4 children. The meal was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Thank you to the entire team for the organization and the quality of the food! Everyone was delighted.

18/04/2026: We just went there and honestly, it's great to have this kind of family restaurant. The food is very good, the customers all seem happy, and there's a good atmosphere. I'd definitely go back!

13/04/2026: A little surprised by the initial, somewhat distant welcome, but in the end, the woman who served us was incredibly professional and friendly. The menu is short but the ingredients are fresh. The whelks were excellent, the bread really wasn't good, the salmon was very generous and delicious, and the €25 seafood platter is definitely worth it. The desserts are quite good too. A place to remember.

07/05/2026: Reservation accepted for 7:15 pm for a group of 11 people. The last guests arrived late (30 minutes), but in between, we were asked if they were arriving because the reservation was for 7:15 pm! The service was rushed! We barely had time to finish our aperitifs before the main courses were served! Unfriendly staff, not a smile. We felt like we were bothering them even though the restaurant was empty! Why accept the reservation if you didn't want to work that evening? The bill was high, but thankfully the chef was excellent!

16/04/2026: A factory-style takeaway, the tripe wasn't homemade, it was the same as the vacuum-packed kind you find in supermarkets, it had that authentic industrial taste, the fries weren't homemade either, the showers were very average, however the price was reasonable and the waitresses were very nice, except for the young girl, not a smile, not that enthusiasm for chatting with customers like you find in the bars of other restaurants, or maybe she's afraid of being hit on 😂😂😂

13/03/2026: I stopped by for a drink and came back for a meal because I immediately felt I was going to have a good time. The owner is present and the waiter is very professional and accommodating to all his customers. Even the chef is smiling, and the kitchen boy too when they come into the dining room. Well done to you all!

29/11/2025: First experience at La Briquerie, so renowned in the area. An evening organized with the company's employee committee. A very pleasant evening, the food was top-notch, a perfect balance between the "basic" fare you usually find and something a bit more "gastronomic." The aperitif was quite generous with some fairly classic but effective canapés, followed by a superb little prawn gratin as a starter 🤌🤌 and a typical Norman digestif 😉. Then came the main course: a potato gratin that melted in your mouth, so perfectly cooked you couldn't even taste the potato slices 👌. For the meat, a "piece of beef" with a mushroom sauce. The sauce was excellent, and the texture of the meat was perfect, but the beef flavor was barely perceptible for someone who loves meat. However, with the sauce and the gratin, you quickly forget this minor "detail." The cheese platter was quite basic, typical of restaurants (at least Norman ones 😉), accompanied by I didn't try the salad, but the dressing didn't seem great based on what I heard at our table. As for dessert, no complaints except for the really, really good ice cream (if the owners happen to see this, I'd love to know the name of the ice cream or the supplier, haha, unless it's homemade 👌). All the dishes were beautifully presented. The portions might seem small at first glance, but overall they were just right 👍. I'm only taking off one star for the ambiance because throughout the meal I felt the background music wasn't quite in keeping with the theme of the evening (but that's just my opinion). Overall, I highly recommend this place! Speaking of the venue itself, there isn't much designated parking for this type of event, so when you're among the first to arrive without knowing the layout, you're not quite sure where to park. As for the hall, it's very spacious, with a bar that's well-proportioned to the size of the room. The sound level is quite good, and the lighting is pretty decent, but could be improved for a dance party. I'd add a couple of RGB lasers and a smoke machine, especially since you can now find these kinds of machines at very reasonable prices without going for professional event equipment. A "small" budget of €2,000 to €3,000 would be more than enough for the equipment, including the DMX controller. Finally, the fireplace is fantastic, perfectly suited to the size of the hall and visually very appealing. However, since the hall is relatively well-insulated, it gets quite warm quite quickly, but that's also a matter of personal preference. In any case, it's not unbearably hot, so it's definitely a good option compared to other venues that struggle to manage the temperature. from the room. Well, there you have it, I think I've said everything, not necessarily in the right order though, but at least it's a first-hand opinion 😉

13/04/2026: A stay at this hotel, whose classic exterior doesn't reflect the cozy charm inside. A pleasant, quiet, clean place, ideally located on the Saint Aubin seafront promenade, making it truly exceptional. The staff and service were perfect.
