14/12/2024: My partner and I are real fans ☺️ The pizzas are absolutely delicious and very generous. With a good variety for different desires, we tried several types of pizzas and they were all as good as each other. The chef is really great, super warm and with a good sense of humor! 16/09/2024: We choose this restaurant for two reasons: it was reasonably close to our hotel and got good on-line reviews. The meal we had was possibly the best of our two-week holiday travelling around north-west France. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and not unduly expensive for the standard. We really enjoyed the experience and would happily recommend Le Mail.

02/09/2024: Ogni anno andiamo a trovarli dall' Italia sia per il cibo (di altissimo livello,pesce ma anche carne di qualità eccellente) sia per la cortesia,la gentilezza del personale. Lo consigliamo,vi innamorerete di questo ristorante e anche della bella regione Charente. Every year we visit them from Italy for the food (of the highest level, fish but also meat of excellent quality) and for the courtesy, kindness of the staff. We recommend it, you will love this restaurant and also the beautiful region of Charente. Chaque année, nous allons les trouver en venant d’Italie à la fois pour la nourriture (de très haut niveau, le poisson mais aussi la viande d’excellente qualité) et pour la courtoisie, la gentillesse du personnel. Nous vous recommandons, vous allez adorer ce restaurant et aussi la belle région de Charente.

15/09/2024: This restaurant is located in the heart of st Marie de re, The staff was do friendly. I had the best meal of my stay in ile de re which was a pave de Merlu. The fish was so fresh cooked to perfection and it tasted amazing. My mom and sisters both had a dish with octopus and shrimps that was delicious as well. Nothing bad to say about this place. If you want to enjoy a great meal just go there you won't be disappointed.

30/10/2024: A gastronomic experience! Very nice establishment where everything is taken care of: the tablecloth, the napkin ring, the bread basket, the plates and, in the kitchen, everything is balanced and harmonious. It’s very good and appetizing! Well done !

04/07/2025: Very disappointed! Yet it's not the first time but honestly...we wait 1/2 hour before having a drink and the rest is the same. Very average service, the staff is not in place! We are forgotten! I am disgusted! In fact, no one cares. A very beautiful site but that doesn't make the service, the welcome and the attention! In short, deplorable, avoid
