29/01/2026: The dishes were well-cooked and nicely presented, but beware of inaccurate descriptions on the menu board. For example, an avocado with tuna was listed as mixed with smoked salmon, and a chocolate and citrus cake turned out to be just a kiwi and citrus cake with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. This really spoiled the experience.

12/05/2026: First visit since the change of ownership, and what a disappointment it was. We were a table of nine, and the dishes we ordered were quite varied, but unfortunately, the quality (and especially the quantity!) didn't match the price. - The flank steaks (which were good, by the way) weighed no more than 100g and were served with about fifteen fries practically fighting each other on gigantic plates, without even a single lettuce leaf to try and hide the emptiness, all for nearly €18. - The cuttlefish was very good, no complaints there, but 5-6 strips of 2-3 cm is simply ridiculous for the price. - The spare ribs were very good and a generous portion. We didn't order dessert, given the enormous disappointment with the other dishes. We were regulars, and unfortunately, like all good things, it has come to an end.

13/04/2026: The owner is welcoming. The waitress is discreet, and we enjoyed a peaceful meal in a pleasant setting. The portions are perfect, and the dishes are flavorful. The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is off the beaten tourist track, so spread the word—it deserves it!

14/05/2026: If you're looking for a place to enjoy a delicious frozen treat, look no further than Ernest! The ice cream is excellent and the cones are homemade.

13/05/2026: Amazing! The hardest part is choosing and limiting the number of scoops. The ice creams are incredible, with original and sophisticated flavors that aren't over the top. Simple, satisfying, a real treat! If you're hesitating, hesitate no more!

04/03/2026: We stopped at a random spot on the road. This restaurant, popular with local workers, is clean and the food is simple but very good for a very competitive price. The service is incredibly efficient. €14 for a set menu (main course and dessert) €18 for unlimited appetizers from the buffet, main course, cheese, dessert, coffee, and a quarter-liter of wine. No complaints!

22/03/2026: Passing through St Georges de Didonne, we discovered this little restaurant quite by chance, and what a wonderful find! A warm welcome and delicious homemade food. If you're ever in St Georges de Didonne and looking for a place to eat, I highly recommend making a detour to Le Tableau.
