10/07/2026: A very comprehensive selection of magazines and newspapers, undoubtedly the most comprehensive in La Rochelle. The staff are lovely.

13/08/2026: Given the crowds in August, there were many (too many) items out of stock. It was incredibly busy every time I went.

13/08/2026: A very nice Intermarché hypermarket located on the island! Offering a wide variety of products during the summer season! However, I find the aisles are cramped compared to other Intermarché stores in the area, such as the one in Vaux-sur-Mer, which has more spacious aisles and therefore better customer comfort! However, the prices at the gas station are attractive and the hypermarket is well located!

10/10/2026: Very rude staff, we saw that they were selling boba tea so we went in because we wanted some. We go in and there’s a couple at the register, the place looked a bit sketchy and my friend was about to order, the man was mocking her and very rude almost scolding us. Later we found out that we weren’t allowed to sit, only for those paying for meals. We left quick and will never come again.

12/09/2026: The service is excellent and the food is very good. The owners are kind and pleasant. I've been there twice and had a great meal.

15/09/2026: We enjoyed our generously topped pizzas. They offer a box to take away leftovers. Very friendly staff. Note that the indoor seating is small, so be sure to make a reservation.

13/07/2026: A great little snack bar in La Pallice. La Petite Bouffe lives up to its name: simple, good, and generous portions. Friendly service, reasonable prices. No complaints, I'll definitely be back.

09/09/2026: This is definitely not the burger place to go!! The fries were overcooked and cold, the maxi burger/goat cheese was cold even though it was made to order, and there were no customers waiting...what a disappointment! And to be clear: I ordered takeout and ate it immediately in front of the port, after only a 2-minute walk, which is all the more reason why both the fries and the burger should still have been hot!

21/08/2026: Honestly, this restaurant is fantastic and so cute! The welcome is very warm, and the meals are incredibly generous. If you're still hungry after your meal, it's your own fault, because the menu includes soup, two starters, a main course, cheese, and dessert—talk about a difficult digestion! The owner, Catherine, is super friendly and very efficient. She goes out of her way to ensure your satisfaction, and believe me, she succeeds. Congratulations, Catherine!
