03/10/2025: We went to the door after seeing the good reviews on Google. Once there, at 7 p.m., we waited more than 30 minutes: still closed. The hours are not indicated on Google or on the door (just "open lunch and dinner" without any details). We also called, without answer. Passing through La Rochelle, we were disappointed not to have been able to try it.

02/09/2025: Super good fish and chips, we really enjoyed it, thank you.

30/08/2024: We had a pleasant meal at the Auberge du Moulin, the setting is magnificent, the food exquisite and the staff very friendly. The dishes are hearty and tasty. We happily recommend this restaurant.

31/08/2024: Superb ice creams, taste and texture, everything is there! You can go there with your eyes closed 😁 For the pancakes (opposite) they are good and well filled. The servers are pleasant. Small downside for the waffles which are not "homemade"

29/08/2024: Pleasantly surprised: an exceptionally good pancake for a very reasonable price!! And a crepe that is simply breathtaking. Really cool meal with friends, we recommend. For once we are not being fooled, the quality/price ratio is well exceeded!! We will definitely come back!

04/11/2024: Too expensive for what it is! Beware of the tourist trap hiding behind the false label “market products”. Gloomy room, set at a table in a corner at the exit of the kitchen next to a storage room. I took a menu from the market and I was hungry afterwards. My friend took a menu for 30 euros to which we added 4.5 extra!!! 35 euros for a starter and a main course at lunchtime, and being hungry afterwards is not normal! The bottle of sparkling water was flat, it had no bubbles; and no matter how much we say it, we haven't considered our return. In short, we had the impression of being a nuisance when we left more than 60 euros for two at lunchtime!! Brief. Avoid!

31/08/2024: Friendly welcome. Delicious couscous and tagine! We enjoyed ourselves. Without forgetting the succulent oriental pastries with a good mint tea. I recommend Koutoubia as a wine.

29/09/2024: I am responding to your comment regarding the lifeguard who ruined our moment. Let me clarify: he certainly wasn't 'unblocking' anything. He was too busy leisurely swimming laps and then diving into the pool. If that’s his definition of ‘work’, there was clearly a misunderstanding about the position to be filled! When we arrived, he was too busy chatting – or rather flirting – with a lady also on duty, who spent more time laughing at his jokes than providing us with bathrobes. 5 star service, really?

29/09/2024: A stay as excellent as ever since our first experience two years ago. We plan to come back. The care team and catering team are top notch!

09/12/2025: Original colours. Good food, good service, reasonable price.

08/12/2025: We were told to choose a seat and that a menu would be brought to us. The menu never arrived, so we served ourselves, waited, and waited. We placed our order (two lattes and two crepes), and waited. The coffees arrived on their own. We waited. The coffee was too sweet and got cold. I asked about the crepes, and they said it was taking a while because they were busy, but they finally arrived a minute later. (Customers next to us had the same problem waiting between their hot drinks and crepes, and coincidentally, the crepes arrived right after a complaint). Anyway. I ordered a crepe with butter, and I received a crepe with sugar, even though I don't like sugar. I didn't finish the latte because it was bad. The waiter was rushed and not particularly welcoming; we seemed to be bothering him. What a shame.

01/10/2024: I came in July (with a yellow cane) For two nights, restaurant on the beach and breakfast in the room.. It was perfect, the friendly staff, the perfect room, and the perfect meals too. Thank you for your welcome again! Overall performance 5/5 are deserving!! It was August 15th 😉)

29/09/2024: Well located with sea view but rather expensive restaurant for average quality. The dishes lack flavor.

19/09/2024: Habituellement c'est plutôt correct, mais cela fait 2 fois qu'on est très déçus. Le camembert chaud est froid, ainsi que les moules et les frites. Reste le vin de Loire en pichet, satisfaisant.

08/09/2024: Établissement correct ! Les moules sont globalement bonnes. Gros bémol : une jeune serveuse saisonnière venue de poitiers à la mine patibulaire et au comportement désagréable et agressif avec les clients, qui ferait bien d'aller se faire soigner...

14/09/2024: Friendly welcome but wow the pizza dough!!!! the sidewalks are too wide, full of bubbles and dry. Garnish in the center. I won't use the loyalty card, sorry!!!

15/09/2024: Décor plutot quelconque, beaucoup d'emphase dans la mise en scène du patron, beaucoup de bla bla mais la cuisine n'est pas à la hauteur de la "réputation" et surtout... des prix. Je n'y retournerai pas.

13/09/2024: Une très belle surprise nous avons découvert la bavette de boeuf (black Angus) ce fut une révélation pour moi qui mange peu de viande et surtout la viande de boeuf . Nous nous sommes véritablement régalés tant cette viande était d'une tendresse remarquable et qui plus est d'une cuisson parfaite (saignante).Nos amis ont également apprécié le ris de veau et un duo de soles. Le patron (je le suppose) viens s'agenouiller à la table pour expliquer et partager ses connaissances en toute décontraction décontraction qui je l'imagine peut ne pas plaire aux esprits chagrins.
