07/05/2026: Hello, I went to this establishment on Tuesday, May 5th, to have a drink on their beautiful terrace, but it was empty. I went into the restaurant to ask, and I was told that Mondays and Tuesdays were reserved exclusively for hotel guests, and for others, it was only from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM! I wonder how this very restrictive establishment operates!
27/04/2026: We ate at Albatros, on a friend's recommendation. Good atmosphere, very good food, friendly and attentive waiters.
However, we waited over 40 minutes for our desserts, probably because they were defrosting... What a shame!

21/08/2026: The place doesn't look like much. It's in direct competition with the restaurant next door, which is always packed. So we came to this one. And 5 stars for a perfect homemade meal. From the appetizer to the dessert! The chocolate fondant was a delight. Keep up the good work!

What would you say if I came to your restaurant and threw my freshly finished cigarette in the window, then told you that if you weren't happy, you could just pick it up?
Why do you throw your cigarettes out of your car window on Cours National in Saintes?
You are surely aware that approximately 100,000 hectares burned this summer in France alone.
It's a shame, I really liked your restaurant. I won't be setting foot in it again with that kind of attitude.
29/08/2026: Impeccable service, food, and service! Truly professional! A traditional French restaurant, the kind I wish I saw more often. Thank you to the whole team! I thoroughly enjoyed the cod and mashed potatoes, in particular. (And I'm from Aveyron!)

27/08/2026: The service was decent, with the option to eat outside. The interior is also nicely decorated. The crepes are good and offered at prices that remain reasonable these days. I especially appreciated that the savory crepes are still affordable: a good strategy, as it makes you more tempted to order a second crepe for dessert!
20/08/2026: It's delicious, the recipes are original, not too much, not too little. You want to try everything, and the cider is very good.
The staff is friendly and welcoming—the icing on the cake.

03/08/2026: A nice restaurant with an affordable menu featuring fresh ingredients for a really great result. The menu changes regularly, and the waiter is very friendly. Service can be a little slow when it's busy, but nothing unacceptable for someone serving alone on a terrace that was packed that evening with a group of 12. They also have a good selection of beers and wines.

30/12/2025: We received a very warm welcome at this lovely little wine bar. The service was friendly and very efficient for our large table of eight; we didn't even have time to get thirsty! And we had a delicious meal to boot: excellent oysters, superb truffle ham, and good bread.
It was well worth the trip.

A beautifully decorated room, expert advice, especially on wine, and cuisine featuring fresh, local produce.
A warm, unmissable address in La Couarde, where you'll feel right at home.

Shameful! And they charge extra for a slice of lemon in a Perrier too!

25/07/2026: A truly wonderful place where you're welcomed by charming owners! I highly recommend the steak tartare, which is excellent, as well as the XL gourmet coffee. A truly delightful experience; I recommend it without hesitation.

09/09/2026: I highly recommend this place. The welcome was very friendly, even for a last-minute arrival; the owner arranged the tables to accommodate the four of us. Our waitress, Elise, was always smiling and very attentive.
Thank you again for the delicious and beautifully presented dishes.
