08/12/2025: Damn, I ordered a dog toy as an extra... missed it, they forgot it... They were out of French fry sauce and nugget sauce... The waitress was so indifferent... Seriously, if you don't want to work or do your job "properly," just quit! I'm fed up with paying for things I don't get! It's infuriating!

17/11/2024: On my last visit, I ordered a tea to accompany my dish and I was surprised to see that I was only served a cup without a teapot on the pretext that the customers were breaking them. Metal teapots exist...I was able to ask for more water but it doesn't look professional. I've never seen this anywhere else. It's a shame that a good kitchen is tarnished a little by this kind of detail.

30/09/2024: Accueil chaleureux malgré l'heure tardive (13h30 le dernier dimanche de la saison..), un jeune patron dynamique et avenant, une équipe agréable. Les moules sont excellentes : à la crème de Pineau gouteuses bien que le parfum puisse être un peu plus fort, Chorizo Poivron Piment Espelette : un régal avec une très bonne balance de goûts, les meilleures depuis longtemps.. Un vin rouge oléronnais, léger mais parfumé, agréable en bouche et qui ne donne pas d'aigreurs.. Les desserts sont bons mais plus rustiques surtout au niveau de la présentation : la galette charentaise au Lemon curd : bel assemblage de goûts mais dommage que la galette soit broyée façon crumble. Une adresse à retenir : j'y retournerais très volontiers !!

27/08/2024: A nice cuisine which, in my opinion, lacks creativity and balance. Pleasant service... rather relaxed (!) and outdoor terrace near the bicycle parking area. A nice layout inside would be a plus (and more pressure on the sinks too!)

15/09/2024: Superbe restaurant, la cuisine est excellente faite avec des produits frais par le couple de patron. La serveuse est très sympa, très aimable et à beaucoup d'humour. Nous étions 4, je vous recommande la pièce de bœuf, accompagné de ses frites faite maison, sa sauce à l'échalotte et sa salade, ainsi que que le camembert rôti, accompagné de frites aussi, salade et jambon de pays. Un vrai régale. Je vous recommande se resto. Je vous conseil de réserver à l'avance.

05/09/2024: Good food, very friendly and attentive waitress, but a small downside, my wife and I took 2 menus at €18 displayed plus a soft drink at €4, so total €40, but the bill came to 42€. I have the impression that the 5.5% VAT on the menus was added at the end, is this normal and regulatory?

15/12/2024: Sunday we pass in front of this brasserie which reminds us of our Lyon region; we reserve at 11:30 a.m. for 12:30 p.m. we arrive at 12:30 p.m., the waitress a little ole ole but hey it's nice; and there already at 12:30 p.m. no more fish in the dish which was still written in 11:30 a.m.! a nice customer left me his really nice dish but it was actually a fish casserole, it was a gratin dauphinois where I found 2 small pieces of fish (besides I told the waitress that the fishing must not have been good)! my friend, on a filet mignon, cream but not worked!! so imagine it disgust; but at 12:30 p.m. no more formulas, it was worth pointing out besides the customers next to us had the same opinion; too bad, the appearance, good and that's all;

07/01/2025: Bought a galette des rois today, chocolate and hazelnut, it's a cider, a delight, we enjoyed the puff pastry, I don't like extraordinary, I've never eaten such a good galette, a big thank you. Small negative, too bad the beans are not in the Little shell theme for example. Best wishes

02/09/2024: Repas convenable mais rien d’exceptionnel. En revanche, deux serveurs ( une jeune femme et un jeune homme) devraient changer de métier si la clientèle les embête .. au moment de prendre la commande, la jeune fille me demande si je prendrais un dessert, je lui dis que je ne sais pas encore, ( je vois sur son visage que cela l’agace ..) elle demande la même chose à mon mari qui lui demande quels sont les desserts mais ne commande que son plat. Les serveurs parlent sur votre dos, ils devraient peut être le faire plus discrètement ! Et sur l’addition, un menu du jour plat dessert pour mon mari, et moi le prix fort du plat et du dessert alors que nous avons mangé la même chose mais apparemment ma tête n’a pas dû leur revenir pour qu’ils me fassent payer plus cher pour la même chose.. Vraiment dommage mais maintenant que je regarde les commentaires je vois que nous ne sommes pas les seuls à regretter de s’être arrêtés ici. Je pense également que les chiens ne sont pas vraiment les « bienvenus »..
