10/12/2024: Very quick table service, we ate well.
However, we miss the socks that we paid for as well as the towels, the happy meal toy, when we went to ask them the lady in the red polo shirt disrespected us and didn't want to give them to us, we missed being familiar with them. respect.
From my experience we don't talk about a client by saying "the guy" in front of him.
This lady is certainly not made to work in contact with the customer

05/08/2024: Nous avons bien dîné dans cet élégant restaurant, le service était excellent, le serveur souriant et efficace. La carte est à l'avenant, les produits sont frais et délicieusement cuisinés. Mais sans être de grands mangeurs, nous aurions apprécié un peu plus d'accompagnement, les légumes sont servis en très faible quantité.

I recommend for 16 euros you have a buffet of starters, main course, cheese, dessert, coffee and a quarter of wine!

02/09/2024: While searching the reviews section, I just came across the owner's words ''Homemade bistro'', even though that was precisely what I was going to criticize. Nothing I ate was homemade, neither the shrimp fritters, nor the squid fritters (see photos), nor the sauces served with it, nor the vegetables accompanying the burger (overcooked when requested blue) . However the restaurant made a move on this and offered me the beer. All for around €30 per person, it's way too expensive.
However, this restaurant remains practical, but nothing more.

A curated menu, So quality products and taste, fragrant sauces. the owner of the establishment is friendly and the chef comes to the room to talk about his dishes.,,, the decor is a little cold, even if it was recently redone… This is the only downside for its semi-gastronomic establishments to recommend.

15/10/2024: We arrived at the campsite in August after a long drive in very hot weather. We had our two small dogs with us. With the key to our rental in hand, my daughter alerted me to the breathing of one of our dogs which was very heavy. We return to reception, my daughter rushes there to ask for help. I'm on the phone with the veterinary emergency room and Margaux arrives with a bucket of water and a towel. I can never thank her enough for her help and responsiveness. In addition, this campsite lived up to my expectations with my disability. See you soon
30/09/2024: Pleasant campsite not far from the sea, shops. Calm mid-September week, friendly staff, well-appointed mobile home with good bedding,,,,(a mini oven would be welcome....in a 4 star!!!). Practice the catering side.
I recommend.

Les serveurs sont accueillants et agréables .
Les plats sont de qualité a partir de produits frais.
Nous avons savouré un excellent tartare de bœuf au couteau.
Des coupes glacées avec une chantilly maison.
La terrasse côté port de pêche est très plaisante.
Et pour finir les prix son très corrects.

When we leave we are criticized for wanting to pay the bill in several installments, a general feeling that the boss has no consideration for the customers...

07/11/2024: Always very nice to eat here, economical and friendly omelette for a quick meal.
When eating on the terrace, you will have a very elegant and unobstructed view of the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville, and the owner will, as always, welcome you with rare kindness.
Concerning the quality of the air, people were smoking next to me, and luckily the winds were favorable to me, so I was able to breathe 95% pleasant air.

30/06/2025: Comfortable room, but lacking in charm, extremely noisy because of the avenues that pass on either side of the hotel. Bathroom smells very damp, curtains that are absolutely not blackout are annoying when it gets dark only from 10/10:30 p.m. This hotel lacks refreshment, it is far too old considering the price of the room

07/08/2024: Don't have the misfortune of being a person with reduced mobility, in a wheelchair, whose wheels have the annoying and regrettable habit of finding themselves on a few centimeters of the access path to the establishment, a charming lady with hair blond, with a hotel school smile will come to point out to you that you are a restrictive obstacle to the passage of suitcases and that you will have to find a solution in order to clear the floor. A beautiful lesson in humanity, given with a smile, a thousand thanks.
07/08/2024: Simple but good rooms, helpful staff (but only present between certain hours), and excellent location. Few facilities or extra services. Highly recommend if your goal is to explore La Rochelle a day or a few days.
