11/09/2026: Unfortunately, the service made our experience quite disappointing. We were in a group and had ordered several different dishes. The table quickly became piled high with small plates and bowls, to the point where we barely had room to move. Instead of regularly clearing the empty dishes, the server seemed more interested in chatting than attending to the customers' needs. Several people at neighboring tables even had to put some dishes on the empty tables next to us to free up some space. When we did the same, an employee came to tell us, in a rather unpleasant tone, that everything had to stay on our table. We explained that there simply wasn't any more room, but he replied that it didn't matter and proceeded to reposition our plates himself instead of clearing them, with a condescending and completely inappropriate attitude. What's even more regrettable is that other tables were doing the exact same thing without receiving a single comment. More attentive service, particularly clearing empty plates as they were used, and above all, a more respectful attitude towards customers would have completely changed our experience.

29/08/2026: Good restaurant on the port of Saint-Martin, simple but excellent dishes thanks to the quality and freshness of the ingredients; all in a pleasant nautical setting. My only complaint is the inattentive and sarcastic welcome (especially towards two foreign customers who didn't understand the "humor" when he told them they couldn't use the parasols on the terrace and ended up sitting inside out of frustration 🫤).

Beyond the professional qualities common to any good real estate agent, what set her apart was her interpersonal skills, with a consistent, smooth, and genuinely caring business relationship. Although the transaction took a little longer to finalize, she demonstrated patience and attentiveness. She skillfully negotiated the purchase in the best interests of all parties, despite the sellers' firm demands. I am a rather demanding client, even very demanding, and I expect competence and responsiveness from my contacts. If I were to purchase another property in the coming years, whether as a primary or secondary residence, I would undoubtedly use Matisse's services again, though I would be competing with other agents. In short, don't hesitate to contact her. She will repay your trust with her professionalism.

04/07/2026: A great restaurant three courses for 13.90€. The food is delicious buffet to start with lots of choice. Normally a choice of 2/3 main courses & dessert. Quickly becoming my favourite place to eat

03/09/2026: We received a fantastic welcome despite the rain. We had booked a table outside but were given a table inside. The meal was superb and very generous, the staff were very young, the service was quick, and there were decorations on the aperitif glasses that we were allowed to take as souvenirs.

03/09/2026: Lunch early in the day (not too busy yet) for mussels and fries. Huge disappointment! The mussels were barely lukewarm, and some were even cold! Back to the kitchen they were barely any better! For such a simple dish, it's disappointing!

04/07/2026: This hotel is in a great location. However, the air conditioner didn’t work and the WIFI didn’t work. But the worst was the receptionist, named Vincent, who was rather astoundingly rude. We booked a room with two beds, and when we checked in I wanted to verify that was the case and he snapped at me that “we shall see”. I said that we had booked a room with two beds so I wanted to be sure, and he simply snapped at me again that “we shall see”. When I told him the WIFI didn’t work, again a snap of “yes, it does”. Really a jerk.

15/06/2026: Adorable hotel perfectly situated in the Vieux Port area. Staff were excellent. It is an old building so be warned that there are stairs! But if you are able to climb the stairs, it is totally worth it. My courtyard facing room was very quiet despite being in such a busy area. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning worked very well.

24/08/2026: The ice cream is delicious and homemade. The cone is also scrumptious. I recommend it (the high price is well justified).

21/08/2026: We came today as a family for ice cream and, unfortunately, we were quite surprised by the attitude of the saleswoman, who was wearing a leg brace. Upon arrival, we received a barely audible greeting and quickly felt like we were bothering her. When we asked her questions about the different flavors, we really felt like we were inconveniencing her. No smile, very little eye contact, and a particularly cold and unwelcoming attitude. This is all the more disappointing because, in my opinion, customer service is essential for a salesperson. Here, we unfortunately didn't find any of that welcoming and helpful service. That said, the ice cream was very good and of high quality, and we enjoyed the products. It's really a shame that the experience was spoiled by the reception.
