14/12/2025: Superb restaurant, excellent service, the staff are truly lovely, the dishes are high quality, the sauerkraut is to die for, and the portions are generous—you certainly won't starve, I assure you! The sweet apple tarte flambée is really delicious, I highly recommend it.

20/03/2026: We went there today at noon to eat the daily special. We arrived around 12:10 pm and had to wait 15 minutes before anyone asked if we wanted an aperitif. To receive the aperitif (one bitter and one Cynar), we waited another 20-25 minutes. The sommelier said he had to change the beer keg. At 1 pm, the starter was finally served, followed by the main course 15 minutes later. I should point out that on my small toast for the starter, I saw one piece of bacon; it would have been difficult to have less! Between the aperitif and the main course, no waiter came to our table to apologize for the long wait or to say a word. We simply avoided them! The main course consisted of rabbit meat and tagliatelle. The round table in the next room "appeared" to have the same dish, except that the staff came by to ask if they wanted more tagliatelle. All this waiting ultimately ruined the entire meal.

05/04/2026: The Villa Lalique restaurant is located in a modern, fully glazed extension with stunning views of the surrounding nature. Lalique crystal glass is, of course, omnipresent, but without appearing ostentatious or overdone. Chef Paul Stradner and his team conjure up visually stunning, but above all, sensationally flavorful dishes. Sometimes delicate flavors are combined (sea bream with carrot), but also bolder ones, like pigeon with Black Forest cherry tart. And the pumpkin seed butter! And a dessert featuring cocoa beans... Incredibly precise and delicious! The wine pairings are also outstanding. One can only wonder: Where is the third Michelin star? The service is naturally friendly, never intrusive or snobbish, but always absolutely professional. It's a nice touch that the chef himself makes the rounds of the restaurant towards the end of the meal to chat with the guests. We had a perfect evening and thanks to the free shuttle we were happily chauffeured to the Hotel Chateau Hochberg.

15/03/2026: In response to your reply: I am a man! And no one asked me if I was satisfied with my meal. In which case, I would have honestly expressed my dissatisfaction... Beware, "Overconfidence leads to recklessness." The setting and atmosphere were decent, but what a disappointment on the plate considering the price!! A tiny fillet of sea bream (not sure it was a whole fillet) literally drowned in a so-called emulsion sauce, far too strong in curry and ginger. Accompanied by tiny vegetables, also swimming in water... For dessert, a tiny piece of the daily special tart... ordered out of desperation given the prices of the other desserts... Very disappointed. Nothing here is gourmet, except the prices. Sorry...

02/03/2026: Nice setting, friendly staff. However, the Savoyard fondue might leave us feeling a bit heavy... There was an error in the Facebook post, resulting in potatoes, a charcuterie board, and cheese being charged extra... This isn't a misunderstanding! It's a clear mistake (intentional or not!) in the Facebook post, as you can see in the attached photo.

15/03/2026: We discovered this establishment today. The meal was high quality and beautifully presented, with ample portions. The servers were friendly, professional, attentive to our needs, and paid attention to details often overlooked or even forgotten in many other establishments. The price was reasonable. I highly recommend it.
