05/06/2026: We had dinner there on a Friday evening. The definite positives: fast service with a smile and a touch of humor, delicious dishes that arrived quickly and piping hot, and fresh bread. We loved the kaseknepfles. Some mixed points: a very noisy dining room, a restaurant full of local regulars so we didn't get the chef's tour of the tables, and finally, some items on the appetizer platter were clearly not fresh (rancid walnuts). We will return to this establishment outside of the gourmet pass program for a more realistic experience.

15/07/2026: We came for dinner and the experience was very mixed. My partner's dish was good and she was satisfied. However, my fish dish (€38) was a real disappointment. It arrived just a few minutes after we ordered, which surprised me. The dish was scalding hot, as if it had been left under a heat lamp, and most of the fish was far overcooked: dry salmon, tough scallops… The potatoes weren't any better. I discreetly mentioned the problem to the waiter, who was very professional and pleasant. I would like to thank him for his attitude. However, the way the restaurant handled the situation was disappointing. The only gesture of goodwill was to offer a coffee, even though the main course was clearly below expectations. No one came to speak with us, not even the chef. For an establishment of this category and at this price point, I expected better quality, but above all, better customer service when a problem is reported. It is primarily this lack of response that justifies my 2/5 rating.

01/07/2026: Well, I've always been very satisfied with this restaurant, but not at all today! The service was incredibly slow, and as for my fried carp, the fries looked like the bottom of a bag, just tiny bits of 1 to 2 cm that were really unappetizing. Instead of the usual nice chunks of carp, there were misshapen sticks. Too bad I forgot to take a picture. Let's just say it was a bad day...

04/06/2026: Fried carp to die for… excellent! The service was dynamic and, above all, friendly. This was our fourth visit, and this time we were a group of about forty people; everything was absolutely perfect! Bravo!

28/05/2026: Friendly welcome, exceptionally slow service. The tarte flambée was decent, the veal cordon bleu very average, the cream sauce questionable, and the fries inedible. All this for 50 euros is far from what you'd expect from a good restaurant these days. We've had better meals at this place; perhaps they need a new chef.

28/04/2026: We had dinner at Villa Lalique. A magical place. A beautiful, chic establishment… The service was top-notch. We had a five-course menu. The waiters/waitresses in their aprons and skirts were very elegant… Well done! The meal itself was perfect… We especially loved the dessert, which was exceptional. A wonderful experience. Congratulations to the chefs and all the staff who contribute to the establishment's renown… I highly recommend it.

07/06/2026: We called two hours in advance and got a table for two on the terrace on a weekend evening! We were charmed by the restaurant, the warm welcome from the waitresses, and the menu. We were served quickly. However, there was one drawback, which was unintentional: we both experienced severe digestive issues after our meal. The common thread was the spaetzle (which, at dinnertime, wasn't cooked enough) and the chocolate fondant, which was extremely runny. Nevertheless, we were delighted to have eaten there and will return. We tried calling the restaurant to let them know, but received no answer (perhaps they were busy). Bonus point: the restaurant accepts the Pass Gourmand!
