01/09/2024: We held a seminar at the hotel over a weekend with around fifteen people.
I wanted to thank the Golden Lion teams for their welcome, their attentiveness to our requests, their availability, their sense of service, their responsiveness, because our seminar was held in the best conditions. This was a first seminar in your establishment, and it will not be the last.
Neat rooms, hearty breakfast, elaborate and delicious dishes, and the list of praise does not stop there!
I recommend your establishment for your gourmet stopovers, your vacations in the region and your business seminars!

16/09/2024: Not even able to taste it, reservation made 1 week in advance, we arrived on time Saturday evening 09/14, and there we were told 45 minutes of waiting, asking us to go out and "freeze us on the terrace where they were already waiting at least 3 tables "they take more reservations than there are places and are neither friendly nor commercial offering at least an aperitif to keep people waiting, so we went a little further down the street, where it was was very good, very well received and much more pleasant. Given the welcome, out of 3 couples, none will try to come back, there are enough restaurants in the region. In our parents' time, we were better received.
15/09/2024: It feels homey, always very tasty and the service is excellent too. We come here again and again.
Update from 9.2024: everything is also great, the new dishes on the menu are excellent, there is a children's menu. I highly recommend it.

11/09/2024: Avec mon épouse nous avons organisé nos 45 ans de mariage,après 2/3 rendez-vous tout était organisé,à notre arrivée tout était à la hauteur de notre attente,très belle mise en place,service irréprochable de la Patronne ainsi que son personnel de salle très professionnel,le chef de cuisine nous a mijoté un menu d’une grande saveur,grâce à votre professionnalisme vous avez contribué à la réussite de notre anniversaire de mariage Merci à vous Isabelle et Jean-Claude

A small downside, however, is the insistence on arriving at dessert as soon as the meal is finished...while still having wine at the table...

22/09/2024: We had the opportunity to take advantage of this place for our friends' wedding and to sleep in the hotel.
The garden area was sublime, the staff at the top, the meal delicious, we really had a great time there!
06/09/2024: I went to that hostel for a wedding. The food was simply the best I ever had for a wedding.
The waiters and waitresses were amazing: professional, nice and eager to please to make the moment amazing. Big up to Barbara.
I came with a little girl and we had all the help and accommodations we needed.
The place is nice : the outdoor garden was perfect with no mosquitoes which is worth noting in summer.
The car park was big enough for everybody.
I recommend the place for organizing a party.
We did not sleep there, but all the families of the wedded did, so it was very convenient for them.

We ate on the terrace in a shaded courtyard.
Meals and service were very good.
I recommend this establishment, and will return with pleasure.

Very warm welcome, friendly and smiling team.
Fast service despite the crowds, pleasant and shady terrace setting.
Very good dish, baeckeoffe for me would have deserved a little more meat for the price but it was very good.

12/09/2024: Too bad there are so many alcoholic choices and so few “soft drinks”, not even 1 non-alcoholic cocktail 😕
Only one dish for vegetarian and bad luck for me, the day I came, there was no longer the main element (vegetarian steak)!!
The waiter went through the menu to come up with only 1 solution: potato pancakes 🤷
In short, I was very disappointed with so little choice for the meal/drink set 😞

13/09/2024: Well I'm going to be mean. But it's in relation to my last visit to this restaurant 4 years ago. Being sure of my move, I invited someone and praised my past experience. (Excellent tarte flambée 😍) .
This evening I ate a tarte flambée with chicken and mushroom sauce. In short, super disappointed. The rosé saved the evening. If the tart had been better, we would have had one more.
Personally I don't go back there anymore. I recommend Arbre Vert in Weyersheim for tarte flambée.
Or at my house.
