06/12/2025: Elegant decor Impeccable service As for the food, it's almost Michelin-starred. We appreciated the multitude of flavors on the plate; each bite offered a different taste. The portions are "Alsatian," meaning you don't leave the restaurant feeling like you haven't eaten anything. We paired our meal with a high-quality Gewürztraminer. In short, we highly recommend it.

25/09/2024: Right in the center of Barr, a very pleasant restaurant with a charming setting, perfect for spending a friendly time, whether with family or friends. The service is attentive, with smiling staff. The portions are generous, the dishes well balanced, and the value for money is excellent.

21/09/2024: After the portraits of stars that adorn the walls and the magnificent building, the show ends there. The dishes are flavorless and of little interest, industrial fries and canned mushrooms. The meat was good but cold. The chicken fricassee doesn't tempt you at all. Everything is very disappointing and above all very expensive for the quality. It's hard to understand the many laudatory comments. There is cheaper and above all better in the area. Really unfortunate…. probably the appeal of profitability. 2 stars for the decor.

21/09/2024: SHAME!!! Hang a photo on the wall with an autograph of Gérard Depardieu! AND The food is not even up to the standard of this “institution”… The salad is drowned in sauce and the pasta from the children’s menu is saturated with butter. DISAPPOINTED.

12/12/2025: A fantastic experience at this restaurant! The young owners are top-notch, the cuisine is truly authentic Alsatian, using seasonal produce, and the chef is excellent and incredibly energetic.

28/09/2024: I stayed with a childhood friend who didn't know the place from September 9 to September 14. The inn is very well located and the site allows for beautiful hiking or exploring by car, such as Saint Odile very close. The rooms and apartments were very clean and all were functional and delighted with the setting and the tranquility. We eat very well at the inn and the owner is very welcoming as are the staff. Great value for money. I will come back very quickly and recommend.

07/12/2024: Idéal pour passer une super soirée. Accueil chaleureux. Esteban le serveur est très attentif avec ses clients mais sans imposer. Les plats proposés par cet établissement sont de bonnes qualités. Si je repasse dans la région j'y retournerai sans hésiter.

15/12/2024: Das Restaurant hat seinen Michelin-Stern zu Recht; die Küche ist ausgezeichnet, den Kochstil würde ich in den Kategorien des Michelin als "contemporain" bezeichnen. Hochwertige Produkte, perfekt zubereitet, wie die Coquilles St Jacques, der confierte bretonische Hummer, die Wirsingroulade vom Rehrücken mit Foie gras, mit 98 Euro ist bietet das Menu auch ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Weinpreise sind allerdings prohibitiv - eine derart hochpreisige Weinkarte habe ich in Frankreich auch in höherbesternten Restaurants nocn nicht gesehen - mit Mühe wird man im Bereich zwischen 50 und 100 Euro fündig, im Burgund kaum unter 200 Euro. Der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. - WIr haben dort übernachtet; das Zimmer war einigermaßen geräumig, aber ohne eigentliches Badezimmer, die Dusche ist zwar abgetrennt, das WC natürlich auch, ansonsten besteht die Installation aus einem - kleinen- Lavabo mit einem - ebenso kleinen - Spiegel im Zimmer.
