13/06/2026: We ordered our pretzel salami dinner to take away and eat it at home. One of the best choices of our trip! The salami, in particular, were delicious and came in so many different flavors. I also had a girl who works in an Italian delicatessen with me, and she also really appreciated the quality of their products! If I ever return to Strasbourg, this will be a must-try!

11/07/2026: Great value for a quick and tasty lunch a couple of blocks from the cathedral. We were seated immediately, and had friendly and attentive service. Three of us got tarte flambees and our daughter ordered a pizza. Our drinks arrived quickly and the food came out fast too! All delicious and the waiters were very kind and cheerful, even with our limited French.

21/06/2026: A group of friends and I went for lunch and had a great experience. The food was amazing; I highly recommend their pizzas—they're to die for. Even though we didn't speak French and communication was a bit difficult, the service was excellent. The restaurant welcomes stray cats and allows pets inside, so you don't have to suffer in the heat outside just because you have your furry friend. 100% recommended.

08/07/2026: Traditional Alsatian home cooking. Restaurant with original, rustic decor. An ideal place to discover local cuisine. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The service is quick. The specialties, including the Alsatian aperitifs, are all very tempting.

18/06/2026: Excellent restaurant, we went twice: once on a Sunday for the à la carte menu and once during the week for the daily special. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were very generous; you definitely won't leave hungry. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

02/07/2026: We arrived at 12:45 PM (reservation at 1:00 PM). There was no possibility of reserving a seat in the air-conditioned dining room, so we ate on the terrace in the sweltering heat. There was no menu, just a choice between two daily specials (one of which was sold out) and the set menu (sirloin steak). We weren't in a hurry, but we left by 1:35 PM. I was hoping for a more relaxed birthday celebration. As for the place itself, it seems very nice. The food was good. That's my opinion.

18/06/2026: An excellent restaurant recommended to us by friends. The meal was delicious; from appetizer to dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The dishes are carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and truly flavorful. We will definitely return; it's a shame it's a bit far from our home. We highly recommend it.

27/06/2026: Stay as part of the Gourmet Passport 67 program. A very comprehensive offer for the price, a very welcoming owner, and an incredibly peaceful period, so we really enjoyed the tranquility of the place! The breakfast was truly amazing, highly recommended!! We've already recommended it to our friends and family, who visited the following month and were equally delighted with the peace and quiet! Some renovations were underway; perhaps the jacuzzi next to the pool at Donon is still under consideration? But the priority remains the fire damage repairs 🙏🏻 We have no doubt that Vellada will rise again, given the owner's investment. We'll be back as soon as possible ☺️

09/05/2026: La Ferme Mellon is located in the heart of the countryside near Niederbronn-les-Bains. The setting is a blend of Northern Vosges and Alsatian styles. The specialty is Alsatian tarte flambée, offered in all its variations. The restaurant has a rustic style, with stone walls and half-timbering, a wooden bar, and a magnificent wood-fired oven at the far end of the room. I've never eaten such delicious tarte flambée. It was very generously topped, and the wood-fired cooking was absolutely perfect. Thank you to the owner! 😁 The service was provided by a very kind and friendly waitress. The prices are reasonable. In short, a fantastic evening. I highly recommend it.
