A warm welcome starting with an amuse-bouche, followed by a tasting menu that combines generosity and harmony of flavors in finesse over 6 courses and more… in a room with a traditional and modern ambiance, a very beautiful evening in this magnificent place, where you can eat noble dishes worthy of a starred restaurant ⭐️ at a reasonable price.

05/09/2026: I rarely give 5 stars, but this establishment deserves it. They practice a craft that's almost impossible to find in France anymore: creating biscuits and candies. With supermarkets increasingly dominating the market, it's a pleasure to stumble upon this kind of business that preserves such important skills. Their biscuits are delicious, and they also make a few other candies and other products. I highly recommend going there to replace your store-bought cakes. A small parking lot is available right in front.

27/08/2026: Delicious macarons in a wide variety, and the traditional Bundt cake is also incredibly tasty. The different cookies (we bought several mixed bags) are truly exquisite. Plus, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. In short: Anyone visiting Obernai absolutely must stop by this biscuit shop.

The welcome is warm, the service attentive, and the dishes are as delicious as ever. You can feel their expertise and their desire to please their customers. The atmosphere is friendly, and you're guaranteed a wonderful time every time you visit. I highly recommend it!

11/07/2026: Since the restaurant was taken over by the right owners, it's simply perfect! If you haven't been back since the change of ownership, you absolutely must. The welcome is warm, the owners are incredibly kind, and you immediately feel at home. We were served very quickly; we ordered meat dishes, which were generous and delicious. And what can I say about the dessert… The French toast is simply the best I've ever eaten! A true delight. We had a wonderful evening from beginning to end and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend everyone come (or come back) to discover this restaurant; you won't be disappointed!

30/08/2026: Everything was perfect, from the setting and the staff to the food. We had cordon bleu and vol-au-vent. For dessert, floating islands and crème brûlée. Delicious, generous portions, and more than reasonable prices. We were with our dog, who was also very well received and even got some treats from the owner 😊 1000% recommended! Thank you!

26/08/2026: A peaceful and comfortable atmosphere for dining. The family who runs it were incredibly kind and helpful, even offering us complimentary coffee after our meal (and there were seven of us!). The food was delicious, especially the cordon bleu and anything with mushrooms. If we return to Strasbourg, we will definitely stop by this welcoming restaurant for lunch. Thank you so much!

17/07/2026: The best tarte flambée I've ever had!!! All this combined with exceptional service: smiles, good humor, and kindness! Everything is delicious! The prices are reasonable, and they always have suggestions in addition to their menu!!!! They also offer themed evenings! Thank you, Les Pots Cassées, and see you very soon!!! However… remember to book ahead, it's safer!

12/07/2026: A wonderful discovery, the menu was superb. The foie gras was delicious. The scallop casserole was also delicious, not to mention the dessert. Service and a smile were always present.

02/09/2026: We ate on the terrace, which is genuinely beautiful, and the food is decent, traditional Alsatian cooking. The salad was good, the tarte flambée was good. That’s what makes the rest so disappointing. Service was the problem from start to finish. We waited a very long time, and when the food finally came, the starter arrived at the same time as the mains. Nobody came back to ask if we wanted more drinks at any point during the meal. I asked for more house potatoes. They arrived 10 to 12 minutes later, at which point I said it was too late, we were finished. The waiter told me flatly that they make them “à la minute” and that I had only ordered them five minutes earlier. That wasn’t true. When I pushed back, he told me he is a waiter, not a slave. I was there with my children. Speaking to a customer that way in front of them is not acceptable, whatever the pressure in the dining room. We skipped dessert and left. A real shame. The terrace is lovely, the atmosphere is lovely, and the kitchen clearly knows what it’s doing. The service on the floor undid all of it in one evening.

15/08/2026: A wonderful time was had celebrating our son's christening. The Meyer family and their team always take excellent care of their guests. The rib-eye steaks cooked on the brazier were superb, and the famous Evele sundae was a hit with everyone! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you again for everything, and we'll definitely be back soon.

15/08/2026: Very rude attitude of the staff

10/08/2026: We stopped for a quick drink as it was extremely hot, nice atmosphere and cool motorbike themed bar. Although being lunchtime I expect its great later in the day ,or evening. I had a small beer 0.25 which was only 4.5% but a really nice cold pils at the top of the draught beer menu , and followed by a 0.5l soon after. We tried the snack menu I had a ham and cheese croque jeannette [monsieur] and my wife had a ham and pickle roll. Both lovely hit the spot. Great bar worth a visit away from the main areas.

26/08/2026: A great find! The daily special was delicious and generously portioned. There were four of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The owners were very friendly. We'll definitely be back to try the tarte flambée.

26/07/2026: For a first visit, this is a beautiful, calm, and understated establishment; you feel right at home. The cuisine is sophisticated and refined, just the way I like it. The restaurant manager is very professional, knowledgeable, and explains the menu items and wines very well. He is also very friendly and always smiling. Thank you to the entire kitchen and service team, and of course to the Chef.

26/07/2026: The five-course menu was excellent; I was a little apprehensive at first, but it was more than enough. The service was excellent, with a touch of humor—nothing to complain about. The food was an explosion of flavors in every dish; in short, I found it excellent. Thank you for celebrating our first wedding anniversary.
