16/04/2026: Very good, as it has been for years. But don't be in a hurry… if you don't have a set lunch menu, you really need to deliver on the à la carte menu and the daily specials. Two hours for a starter, main course, and coffee is far too long. But it doesn't warrant a bad rating. Everything can be improved when you're as professional as this family ✌️👍

The food is outstanding – authentic Alsatian cuisine, perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The service is warm, attentive, and truly hospitable. Absolutely nothing to complain about, the setting is magnificent, the service was perfect: thank you to our waiter who was attentive to our 5-year-old daughter and recommended a very good wine. The food was simply perfect, the duck was cooked just right, and the dessert was a lovely surprise – we weren't expecting such a refreshing taste for the mint/milk ice cream! We'll be back.

21/05/2026: It's about time I left a review. Think outside the box 😃 The daily special is excellent; the braised beef cheek is so tender you can cut it with a fork and a piece of bread. The service is attentive and readily available. It's best to make a reservation for lunch. The restaurant has about 30 seats inside and a pleasant 30-seat terrace completes the space.

25/05/2026: I discovered this place by chance because the traditional, down-to-earth restaurants in the village were completely booked – and ended up being pleasantly surprised. The food was truly excellent and of high quality. The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant, although for a €79 menu, the decor is a bit basic. With drinks, you're looking at almost €100 per person. Tip: Definitely check out the lunch menu! It's available until 3 pm and is significantly more affordable – perfect for getting acquainted with the cuisine.

25/05/2026: Very good lunch, quick and efficient service! It's a shame about the waitress, or maybe the owner, I don't know! When we went to pay the bill, she suggested we round it up! There were four of us, so we split the bill in half! She just didn't want to do the math! And on the bill, they added an extra euro for the wine! Not even an apology, just an unpleasant remark! Unprofessional!

27/05/2026: I expected it to be better. The meat was tough and the shallots had a slightly burnt taste. The service was adequate, but nothing special. I wouldn't go back, especially since the bill was quite high.

08/05/2026: It's a shame to lose three stars over a few cents, but the management of this establishment seems to prioritize saving money over customer satisfaction. The context: A bill of €433.10 for four people. The meal was good, the setting pleasant, but the experience was seriously marred by clumsy service and, above all, by customer service bordering on indecent. The incident: Everything went wrong as soon as the aperitifs were served. The waitress, who was very polite and offered a groveling apology, unfortunately broke a glass and spilled everything on the table, staining my wife's blouse in the process. In an establishment that charges €80 for the set menu, one would expect the lack of a tablecloth to be compensated by elegant service. Quite the opposite. The final petty act: When it came time to pay, the owner proudly announced that she was making a "gesture" by offering us complimentary hot drinks. A €5.80 discount on a €433 bill to compensate for a stained garment and a service issue? It's almost insulting. Meanwhile, the two bottles of Aquachiara (micro-filtered water) were charged at €4 each. Removing the water from the bill would have been the bare minimum; offering a digestif would have been professional. Offering two coffees is simply ridiculous. In short: You can't just create a high-end restaurant with such a lack of customer service. "The icing on the cake (or rather, the stain on the blouse): the owner went so far as to suggest we 'bring back the dry cleaning bill if the stain didn't come out.' A remarkably hypocritical proposition, knowing full well that no one is going to come back and queue up again with a €15 receipt. In short, a flair for the dramatic that borders on the absurd. The food is worth the trip, but the management is sorely lacking in class." We will never set foot in there again: a customer's loyalty is clearly worth less than the price of a coffee at your place.

17/05/2026: Excellent crêperie, the galettes were delicious and generously filled. We ate there three nights in a row. The staff were very pleasant. We highly recommend it. (From the Burgundians who came for the Ascension weekend.)

10/05/2026: I came a few weeks ago (during a car show?), about an hour or an hour and a half before closing time. The waiter informed me, with great enthusiasm, that the restaurant was full, even though there were at least five empty tables and several people were finishing up. We went for a walk and, unsurprisingly, 30-45 minutes later the restaurant was still only half full. What a disappointment, especially since the small town was otherwise very nice and welcoming. That waiter's smug attitude really got on my nerves!
