14/12/2024: Un accueil tres sympa en vous precisant que le portable n est pas admis mais on comprend mieux pourquoi puisqu on en prend plein les yeux avec l'environnement de cet authentique restaurant qui vous comble les papilles gustatives ! Une belle decouverte en famille.Petits et grands vous remercient Madame et Monsieur.Nous sommes venus dejeuner ce jour.C etait parfait.🫠👍

25/11/2024: Quoi dire de plus : tout simplement extraordinaire .Jai connu ce restaurant il y a une vingtaine d années mais sous le nom de : Olive noire . De bien à l époque il est passé à exceptionnel .De superbes plats typiquement alsaciens servis avec beaucoup de sourires et gentillesse .En plus Mme la patronne m annonce que les propriétaires de l époque étaient déjà eux

11/12/2025: One hour to get onion soup by the second course... Royco style. Main course and dessert were average.

10/12/2025: A very bad experience at this restaurant. The starter was overpriced (€14.50 for a 4cm slice of onion tart), followed by a cold main course. After the waiter spilled the starter on our table, we had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes. When we were leaving and commented on the price, given the small size of the starter, the waiter replied that he didn't know what had happened in the kitchen and then handed us the card without offering any explanation or compensation. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant and I will never set foot in it again.

09/07/2025: Good French cuisine at a very reasonable price! Excellent, it's a local favorite. However, the only downside is the menu posted on Facebook. It's complicated when you're not registered on Facebook.

08/07/2025: The new owners are very professional, pleasant, and helpful. The food is excellent, both the tartes flambées and the rest of the menu. I definitely recommend this beautiful place.

16/12/2024: Trés bel endroit. Un restaurant proche de la gare, qui a du succés, il était presque complet. Un bon accueil et un service impeccable dans un établissement à la décoration typiquement alsacienne.

28/11/2025: In August 2025, we had a wonderful meal, and the staff was very friendly. We'll definitely be back to try the hotel! 👌👍 In November 2025, we enjoyed a gourmet getaway: sauerkraut for dinner, a very quiet apartment for the night, and breakfast with a view of the garden, deer, llamas, pheasants, and chickens. Our only regret was that we weren't hungry enough! A must-see! 🤩

The dishes are generous, flavorful, and prepared with care that is evident in every bite. The service is attentive, friendly, and immediately puts you at ease. You feel right at home, but with the added pleasure of discovering refined and gourmet cuisine. A must-visit for anyone wanting to enjoy a warm and delicious experience in Hohwald.

26/01/2025: Regional dishes, good and plentiful. Just a shame that it arrives lukewarm, even almost cold... Slow service, I think there is a shortage of staff... It's a shame to serve the children's menu last for a 3-year-old child, even though it had been requested to be served at the same time as the starters... Otherwise nice setting. I find that the restaurant is too large in terms of number of seats...hence certainly the very long wait
