18/08/2026: A discovery in the village of Entzheim, which boasts several restaurants. The setting is warm and welcoming, with a distinctly Alsatian feel. The cuisine is refined and showcases fresh, local ingredients. It's worth noting that the tarte flambée is excellent and very reasonably priced. A special mention goes to the cordon bleu with Munster cheese! Personally, I opted for the fish of the day (pollock loin), which was cooked to perfection!

04/08/2026: The ribeye steak was delicious. But the wait was an hour, and it was incredibly hot inside.

11/09/2026: The meat cooked over a wood fire was absolutely delicious. I'm going to nitpick, but the experience could have been enhanced by offering homemade fries. Yes, everything else on the menu is homemade, but when you love fries as much as I do, it's a small detail that matters. Another minor point: the Burgundy wine by the carafe was probably too young. I would gladly replace it with Spanish wines with more character, such as some Rioja or Bobal.

29/08/2026: The cuisine is elaborate, subtle, and refined. There are no choices on the menu, BUT you understand why when the dishes arrive; you let yourself be surprised and... you are surprised... by the skill involved, the delicacy, the blend of flavors, the refinement... The service is flawless, impeccable. Only the location stands out from the rest: an unremarkable building lost in the fields, but this only adds to the surprise. The dining room is calm and cozy, and the arrangement of the tables and chairs (very nice and comfortable chairs, by the way) allows you to feel at ease and in your own space. A wonderful discovery for us; we will most certainly return... with pleasure.

28/06/2026: A quick lunch out at La Charrue restaurant in Breuschwickersheim with my sweetheart this afternoon. We had a really great meal, it was absolutely delicious! The staff were fantastic as always, and the welcome was super friendly and always with a smile 😃

24/08/2026: To conclude our three-day visit to Strasbourg, we chose this fantastic restaurant, and what a hit it was! It is a small and incredibly cozy place, located on a super charming street. Everything was perfect right from the moment we arrived: the friendly owner and the incredibly attentive and hospitable waitress served us excellently all evening. After the aperitif, we chose the fresh tuna from the specials as a starter and — due to a small language mistake of my own — the beetroot carpaccio. Both were surprising and incredibly delicious! Naturally, accompanied by a fine French wine. For the main course, we both went for the steak with peppercorn sauce. It was truly outstanding, served with extremely tasty, crispy homemade fries. You can tell: this was without a doubt the big winner of our three-day culinary visit to Strasbourg. Definitely a must-visit if you are in the city (but absolutely make sure to book in advance)!

18/08/2026: Le Petit Tonnelier is an excellent restaurant in Strasbourg! We had a wonderful time. The dishes were delicious, prepared with high-quality ingredients and great care. A big thank you also for the impeccable service. The owner is particularly friendly and welcoming, and takes the time to chat with his customers, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely return!

The cuisine lives up to the setting. The dishes are meticulously presented, refined, and bursting with flavor, showcasing the hard work, creativity, and attention to detail. From presentation to tasting, everything is conceived with exquisite finesse. This is exactly the kind of restaurant where you don't just come to eat, but to enjoy a true gastronomic experience. A truly wonderful discovery near Strasbourg, with cuisine that deserves to be appreciated and impeccable service. Five stars without hesitation. An address I highly recommend and where I will return with great pleasure.

29/08/2026: The service was impeccable, an extra star for the sommelier who was truly professional and welcoming. However, the meal was good but nothing special. For almost the price of a Michelin-starred restaurant, it wasn't up to par.

16/08/2026: It took me a while to write this review. I left disappointed, as did my family. Disappointed by the overly fast service; it felt like we were in a school cafeteria—quick, quick… it was Saturday night, first seating, and everything was rushed through in 1 hour and 15 minutes. The food was even more disappointing. All the dishes were bland, lacking depth and flavor. The value for money is poor. A bland burger, eaten in four bites for €29, is something we expect better. Do I recommend it? The answer is no. Will I go back? The answer is no. The place is the spectacle, but not the food. It's a shame because they are capable of doing better and pleasing their customers. They could do better!

05/09/2026: A chaotic arrival last Friday; only one person could find our table… After choosing a 2022 vintage red from the wine list, the bottle presented to the table was a 2024 vintage, without any warning from the waiter, but it was charged at the same price… The food is decent, the terrace pleasant, and the interior traditional; however, the welcome and service need improvement!

04/09/2026: Recently discovered thanks to a post by "Gigi and Toto," I 100% recommend this restaurant!! The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always smiling. The dishes are delicious, high-quality, and very generous. A must-try!

03/09/2026: Today's special: cordon bleu with Maroilles cheese: a mini cordon bleu (180g according to the owner), 3 small potato pancakes, a thin stream of carrot purée, and to top it all off, a half-liter carafe of rosé for €21.50. Luckily, there are still restaurants in the region that don't rip off their customers. First photo: the bill. 12/08/2026: An exceptional experience on the banks of the Ill River. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the elegance and refinement of the setting. The white-clothed tables, tastefully decorated, created a serene and very welcoming atmosphere. The exquisite cuisine completely charmed us. Every detail, from the delicate presentation of the amuse-bouches served in small bowls to the wine selection, testifies to remarkable expertise. We had an unforgettable time and will gladly return.

09/09/2026: We were there for lunch on a weekday. The set menu was delicious and plentiful. For €16, it included a starter (tart, salad, egg), a main course (with meat, vegetables, and potatoes), and a dessert (with blueberries and cream). The restaurant was busy. The service was very friendly. There was a great selection of delicious wines. Completely satisfied. We'll gladly come again.

21/08/2026: A superb experience at this typical Alsatian restaurant! There were 12 of us without a reservation, and the staff were on vacation, yet the wait was perfectly reasonable! The food was delicious, and the waiter was extremely professional. We didn't want to go to a restaurant on the main streets of the city for fear of being ripped off! Don't hesitate to visit this restaurant! The exterior is unassuming, but the warmth and friendliness inside are well worth it.
