19/09/2024: Very nice establishment, welcoming and competent staff. All the dishes are very good. I tasted the queen “Médaille d’or” of Alsace. Very good but the best remains that of the restaurant Au Boeuf de Soufflenhein which includes veal & quenelle and which is less fatty. I recommend 👍🏼

08/09/2024: We had not reserved but we were still accepted on a Sunday at noon when the restaurant was full. Pleasant server, fast service. The problem: I took a dish suggested on the menu for 22 euros; the duo of salmon and foie gras, the waiter could have informed me that it was a starter and not a main course. Just a slice of smoked salmon (homemade but very salty) and a small triangle of foie gras, two endive leaves on which rested the chutney and horseradish cream. How can I say that I was hungry when I left. Too bad the prices are so excessive for the quantity on the plate.

18/08/2024: Honestly, I enjoyed myself, everything was good in the dish I chose: Duck with cherries with vegetables and spatzle. Cooking the duck: perfect, the small vegetables, prepared at home, again perfectly cooked (cooked carrots which keep their crunch), and what about the spatzle, once again home-made. The people serving were pleasant and quick. In short, I had a great time in this bucolic setting. I will come back if I have the opportunity to test other elements of the menu. I highly recommend. I also tried the breakfast, very large buffet you won't be able to leave on an empty stomach.

22/08/2024: Wir waren hier mit 2 Ehepaaren mir August an einem Montag Mittag, ohne Reservierung. Glücklicherweise war noch ein Tisch auf der herrlichen Terrasse frei, eine Reservierung in den französischen Ferien wäre hilfreich gewesen. Wir hatten das Mittagsmenü, Melone mit Parkschinken als Vorspeise, Hühnerkeule mit Beilagen als Hauptgang, und Eis mit Birne und Schokosahne als Nachspeise. Alles war sehr lecker und von hervorragender Qualität, und mit nur 18 Euro für das Mittagsmenü ein echter Tipp.

19/09/2024: Clean and quiet hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Quality breakfast, although a little expensive. The spa is perfect! Perfect geographical location, with transport right next door, and easy access to the motorway. Nothing to complain about, we'll come back!

18/09/2024: Good hotel, we had chosen it exclusively for access to the SPA, but it was emptied following a technical problem that occurred the day before so the water was 20°, even the less cautious among us did not stay there any longer of 5 min.. the saunas were also far from the indicated temperatures. Given the situation (for which no one is responsible), a commercial gesture would have been the least we could do because we paid for this access to the spa. This was not done despite us reporting our dissatisfaction to reception. So, without a SPA, you might as well take another 4 star which will be much cheaper.

27/10/2024: Customer for more than 10 years in your establishment, delicious food but portion too small, foie gras insufficient portion, dessert of three strawberries between 2 pellets and homemade whipped cream. Boss lacking in tact and humility who behind long tirades tells me that nothing stops me from looking elsewhere there is actually not much on the plate you have been customers for 10 years you should know that! To flee!

19/09/2024: What an amazing hotel and restaurant in the heart of Alsace! So glad we took the advice of other travellers and gave it a try. The highlight is the food… a very professionally run restaurant with local dishes cooked with great care and served in a lovely contemporary dining room. The chef is very talented. The wine list showcases some excellent local wines at very reasonable prices. The breakfast buffet is simple but fresh (excellent croissants, bread and local cheese and ham as well as cereals, yogurts and fruit). We were seriously impressed with the food. The portions are very generous! The rooms above the restaurant have been given a contemporary lick of paint and the beds are modern and super comfy but the bathrooms remain firmly rooted in the 1970s (it’s a long time since we’ve seen an avocado suite!). We felt this added a certain charm and everything worked amazingly well which is all that matters after a hard day’s walking. The only thing we missed was a kettle and cups to make a morning drink. We’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to this lovely area.
