03/10/2026: Open at 9:00 AM on Saturdays. At 11:15 AM, the sauna was closed and switched off. This happens far too often.

24/09/2026: I absolutely love this gym! It's large, with lots of boulder problems offering great variety and all levels. It's clean, and the music isn't too loud most of the time (a few decibels less would be welcome).

22/09/2026: A wonderful family-run restaurant with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. They offer a really interesting wine tasting, which is a great way to discover new flavors and enjoy the evening. The dishes are simple but absolutely delicious, fresh, and generously portioned. You can really feel the heart and personal touch behind the place. A lovely spot that makes you want to come back and bring your loved ones!

30/08/2026: It was extremely good, the waitress was super friendly, the menu was small but the food was excellent and the portions very generous.

26/07/2026: It wasn’t a terrible experience overall, until it was time to pay. There was an issue with the Wi-Fi, because of which they claimed our payment hadn't gone through and told us we had to pay again… and you guessed it, we were charged twice. Because it didn't feel right, we checked our bank account right outside, and it already looked like the money had been deducted twice. Inside, they insisted this wasn't the case and that one of the payments would be refunded automatically. Later that evening, we checked again, and the amount had definitely been charged twice. We called the restaurant right away, but we were just given the runaround and told that we had to come back in person. However, we are traveling back to the Netherlands tomorrow, and we have no intention of driving an hour out of our way for a mistake that wasn't our fault. We indicated that we would like to sort this out digitally, but after asking for an email address three times, we were told that their email doesn't work and that coming by is the only option. This is despite us clearly explaining that we are no longer in the area and are heading back to the Netherlands. Not exactly customer-friendly for a mistake made by the restaurant itself.

25/07/2026: It took 30 minutes to get 2 beers and another 45 minutes to get 3 paninis, so a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes. When we ask the waiter after 55 minutes if they will be on their way soon he says “2 minutes” when we ask him again after 65 minutes he gets angry and says it is not his fault and that we should not blame him. The paninis were also miserable when they finally appeared. My recommendation: find somewhere else to eat and drink.

10/06/2026: Our group of motorcyclists, passing through your area, had the pleasure of enjoying your restaurant and accommodation services. We would like to emphasize the excellent welcome we received from the management and all your staff. The quality of the service and the comfort of the rooms fully satisfied us. I highly recommend your establishment.

03/06/2026: The attic room is quite narrow but clean. It's an older building with no elevator, and a spiral staircase, making it unsuitable for those with mobility issues. The service is good. The restaurant is also good, and parking is available nearby.

13/07/2026: We had a reservation for two on Saturday, July 11th. Upon arrival, we noticed that our waiter, Nicolas, was alone in the dining room, while there were at least 30 other customers. We thought the service would be slow, but no, Nicolas was fantastic! He handled everything without complaint, always with a smile! The food was excellent! The service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable! What more could you ask for?! Kudos to Nicolas and the chef for their outstanding service! 👏

21/06/2026: Beautiful, well-equipped accommodation. The air conditioning was very welcome! Parking. Quiet. A gîte you can book without hesitation.

26/09/2026: Restaurant section. Good restaurant with a good selection. Generous portions at a reasonable price. A great place to eat. Happy hour from 5 pm to 7 pm: half-price drinks, fantastic!

05/09/2026: The salad, ordered as a main course, wasn't fresh and this was pointed out. Aside from a "Sorry," there was no further feedback. The salad was still charged. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

25/08/2026: The staff is very polite and friendly. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection, and the sauces were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

23/10/2026: Nothing special in terms of taste, quite classic. The service is good; the waiter is very kind and smiling.

22/10/2026: My quiche Lorraine was incredibly delicious, creamy and cheesy – simply superb. The accompanying salad was also fresh and tasty. The ambiance is that of a French brasserie, both modern and traditional. We had a very pleasant break there.

27/09/2026: We discovered this inn during our walk to the Hohwald waterfall. What a pleasant surprise! A warm welcome, a friendly, family atmosphere, excellent food, and very reasonable prices. The staff came by several times to check if everything was alright, always with a smile. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and were so glad we found this restaurant. Thank you.

20/08/2026: A wonderful discovery on our way to the Black Forest! We stopped at the Auberge du Waldmeister for lunch and had a lovely time. The Norwegian salad was generously filled with bacon and delicious. But the real highlight was the homemade chocolate mousse… absolutely excellent! A truly authentic mousse that reminded me of the one my Belgian grandmother used to make. Needless to say, the Weck didn't last long! A great place to stop again if we're ever in the area. 🤗🍫
