25/05/2026: Excellent restaurant, friendly staff. They were very understanding about the minor disagreements I had with my friend and kindly asked us not to argue. I felt very comfortable here and highly recommend it.

16/05/2026: One star just so my opinion is taken into account, frankly, zero stars. We should have turned around at the first sign of welcome – the reception was anything but warm, bordering on icy. The presentation of the dishes was no better, and the dandelion salad was still no better. We waited an hour and a half between the appetizers and the main courses, and then there was my fish swimming in oil after having been swimming in its natural habitat – poor thing! The desserts were fine, but we stopped there; that was quite enough of a culinary experience! And the service was no better either. A DISAPPOINTING place.

27/05/2026: Just a few kilometers from La Petite Pierre, we dined there two nights in a row. The welcome was warm, the cleanliness impeccable, the staff attentive, and the value for money excellent. There's a large parking lot out front, and a small road nearby allows for a pleasant stroll afterward to a forester's lodge by a pond. A wonderful discovery. Olivier and Emmanuelle

21/04/2026: A successful pizza and tarte flambée evening, both were excellent. A very warm welcome made for a pleasant experience. The little extras: very good value for money, and a rare restaurant open in the area on a Tuesday evening.

17/05/2026: What a pleasure it was to rediscover the taste of the tarte flambée we ate as children! Perfectly cooked, a true delight, and impeccable service with humor, smiles, and as a bonus, a tour of the kitchen before leaving. What more could you ask for to have a wonderful evening?

18/02/2026: We regularly come to S'Fassner Stuebel to enjoy their tarte flambée, as my wife and I consider it one of the best in Alsace. We absolutely love it. This time, we came for a special evening event, which was a mussels and fries night. It felt very strange not to order tarte flambée at this restaurant :-) After a small aperitif, we tucked into the mussels and fries until we were full, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. We'd been wanting to try them for a while, so it was perfect timing... We then ordered the vacherin glacé (ice cream cake) and a homemade meringue with whipped cream, and to finish, a traditional coffee accompanied by a small liqueur offered by the owner. We had a wonderful evening and will be back very soon to eat again, and as always, enjoy their sublime tarte flambée...

20/05/2026: Some hotels are simply a place to sleep. Régent Petite France feels like you’re actually staying inside the postcard of Strasbourg. The location is unbelievable. You walk out the door and you are immediately in the middle of everything that makes Petite France so special — canals, bridges, flowers hanging from windows, people sitting outside with wine, little streets that somehow look even better at night than they do during the day. Honestly, half the time we just stood outside the hotel looking around thinking, “this can’t be real.” Our room was incredible with a view that made it hard to leave in the morning. Watching the boats pass through the canals while the city slowly woke up was one of those travel moments you remember long after the trip is over. The staff could not have been more helpful. Every interaction felt genuine and relaxed, never forced or overly formal. They helped with recommendations, directions, questions — anything we needed. You could tell they truly cared that guests enjoyed Strasbourg. The entire hotel somehow feels luxurious without being stuffy. Comfortable, elegant, quiet, and perfectly placed in the center of it all. Only very minor thing — the shower setup could be a little more accessible depending on mobility or preference — but honestly, it barely registered compared to how much we loved staying here. If you’re visiting Strasbourg and want to fully experience Petite France instead of just walking through it for an hour, stay here. We already miss waking up there.

17/05/2026: A magnificent hotel where I stay every time I'm in Strasbourg. Very well located. The concierge and valet parking staff are exceptional. The reception is very average and incapable of maintaining a customer database. In short, a major drawback. The hotel lobby is freezing cold (20 degrees Celsius) and the bathrooms, even with the thermostat turned all the way up, are like refrigerators. Plus, there are no slippers to warm you up, only flip-flops that hurt your feet. So don't come in winter, or bring your own slippers and a kettle. The spa is very professional, and the massages are excellent. The restaurant is always closed, every single time I've been there.

11/05/2026: An inn nestled in the heart of the forest, with a pond right in front. A very large terrace and a lovely interior welcome visitors on walks or guests staying in the rooms. The staff are truly friendly and helpful. A dream location for those who love long walks in the forest or for a motorcycle stopover. 3 stars, but 5 stars for the staff.

03/01/2026: Idyllically situated, an old half-timbered house surrounded by greenery with outdoor seating, a small dining room with an adjoining room. Fine dishes, interesting menu suggestions, excellent desserts, and good wines. The service is very attentive. Reservations are required. We were satisfied and will come again.

It's nothing like some of the places just 5 minutes away… Big shout-out to Egzon and Niko, and to the bouncer Nacim, who always do a fantastic job! And please… buy the club 5 minutes away so we can party until 7 a.m. 🙏🏼

11/05/2026: A dinner with friends that ended very badly because of a very touchy restaurant staff. We had to wait an hour and a quarter to be served; admittedly, there were nine of us, but we had booked 15 days in advance. We politely announced our arrival and were served shortly after. The dishes were very good, but all a little too salty. We mentioned this to the waiter when he asked if we were satisfied. Instead of thanking us for pointing it out so that other customers wouldn't be inconvenienced, he made a derogatory remark questioning our culinary tastes. When it came time to give us the dessert menu, we rightfully asked if we would also have to wait an hour for dessert. The extremely touchy waiter violently snatched the dessert menus from our hands and refused to continue serving us. Personally, this is the first time a waiter has behaved so aggressively towards me and my friends. I'm a foodie and a traveler; I've eaten in many establishments around the world, and never has a waiter behaved this way. I have only one piece of advice for this waiter: change careers, sir, take a walk in the woods, go on a wellness retreat, but avoid contact with the public if you're not open to criticism and don't understand the meaning of diplomacy.

27/03/2026: I was out for a walk when I saw what looked like a deer coming out of a truck. I don't know about you, but seeing a dead animal like that traumatized me a bit; it was disgusting. I completely lost my appetite.

03/03/2026: A delicate meal with beautifully presented dishes. I was captivated. Time seemed to stand still. There was no rush. The service was discreet and efficient. The courses arrived in perfect timing. Everything was refined. Bravo to the entire team. I know what it takes to create this experience for us. Thank you. I will be back.
