25/09/2024: The Block out Strasbourg room has drastically lost service, no evening catering for 1 month and even paninis are absent. The staff tries to apologize as best they can. Half of the men's showers have been failing for months. Even the ridiculously expensive towel racks are not in acceptable condition. Let's also talk about the opening which is at a very uneven level depending on the week and clearly slowed down since this summer. Fortunately the temperature has dropped because the air conditioning, although announced as repaired, cannot cool the room, with temperatures sometimes exceeding 30°. In conclusion, a place has at least recommended against it until real actions are taken. A long-time subscriber.

21/09/2024: The routes are really good, even if I found some of the grades a little risky (do not take into account slopes). And, something that absolutely horrified me, I saw a COCKROACH walking around on the carpets... In terms of hygiene, it's not great. People were sitting on these rugs, and the idea that cockroaches could be caught there scandalizes me. Everything should be cleaned properly given the attendance (open doors)...

09/06/2025: For my daughter's wedding, we first had the opportunity to taste the wines to help us decide what to choose. The welcome was perfect and very friendly. The wines offered were just perfect, and it was a joy to taste them. As for the wedding itself, which took place on June 7th, everything was perfect! The welcome, the room decor, the aperitif, the cocktails, the toasts and other treats, the meal, the wines, the cheese buffet, and the dessert buffet... Everything was absolutely delicious!!! A huge thank you to Céline and her team: you were there from start to finish, attentive to our every need, available at all times, and always with big smiles. 27/05/2025: Warm welcome, I arrived at 2 p.m. (end of service) and was served anyway. Delicious fish and chips, and plentiful too. Thanks to the whole team. As soon as I get back from Nancy, I'll be right there. And on time this time.

10/07/2025: Disappointed. I had fond memories of this restaurant 20 years ago, but today, it's nothing like it. The setting is still very nice, especially the terrace by the Pont Vauban, but that's the only positive aspect. I had a Gamberoni pizza for €20.50: advertised with jumbo shrimp, you ended up with 5 or 6 basic, bland shrimp, a little arugula, two shavings of cheese... and that's it. The crust is okay, nothing special. Clearly not worth the price. It smells like a restaurant that's focused solely on its touristy location. Once, not twice.

13/09/2024: Very disappointed… the menu was around 15 euro at the end of March April and 21 euro without the Drink… sending the price it cooled us down we turned around.. too bad I like eating there.. I give you 2 stars because the tarte flambée are good..

07/11/2024: points positifs : grand parking et sourire des serveuses points négatifs : assiettes froides, cocottes tièdes pour la viande, frites trop salées et pas assez cuites (molles et très pâles), viande pas très tendre et tranches trop épaisses, par contre sauce très bonne, rognons mal nettoyés. Pour la tarte au citron, pâte beaucoup trop épaisse (donc cuisson à revoir), crème brûlée fade. Dans l'ensemble, relativement déçus, nous ne garderons pas cette adresse. Suite aux commentaires sur la tarte flambée, nous l'avons tout de même recommandée à des touristes.

21/09/2024: We had reserved a table on a Saturday evening, we still had not received our dishes 1h15 after ordering (in exaggeration). We had ordered a drink but we weren't even served drinks for 1 hour 15 minutes. Some customers who arrived after us were served before. No one came to see us to explain the situation. We ended up leaving after 1:20, without the waiters even noticing. Too bad, we won't come back again.

20/09/2024: Very professional welcome. The cheese platter offered to me was delicious. Perhaps a little salad was missing to freshen things up. I let myself be guided about the wine and it was good advice.

24/09/2024: Only two stars for a hotel that I really like. I am proactively leaving a review hoping that it will be read by management and that they will respond to help us find a solution. We have booked a room + SPA day with my wife and our wish is to go to the place by bike. We therefore called the hotel to ensure that the bikes could be stored either in our room or in a secure room. These are quite expensive bikes. We came across a lady at reception who was not ready to help us. In summary, we don't have a solution for you. Your bikes will stay outside. Take it or leave it. Too bad for such a beautiful address. Update: When we arrived, we spoke with the person at reception who informed us that the hotel was working to add a secure bicycle garage.

10/09/2024: Small glacier that is worth the detour. On the other hand there is a pleasant location in a small pedestrian street. Outdoor terrace and nice indoor space. For ice cream, they are delicious and presented in cups with fresh fruit. The service is fast and the servers are very friendly. I recommend this place for a little sweet break.

14/08/2024: The ice creams are very good. The setting is nice and friendly on the other hand the unpleasant service unpleasant waitress not a smile I almost felt uncomfortable too bad because the rest was nice.

11/09/2024: We couldn't go to Alsace without having had this excellent matelote meal 👍 Establishment of tradition topping, white napkins +++ matelote in 2 services provided by the very professional Mistress of the house who provides perfect information on her mastered products, excellent desserts too 👍 We recommend without reservation and a visit to the 2 keys in the pretty little village of Ebermunster is a must. During your next stay in Alsace, this will be one of the essentials 👍
