25/01/2026: Not very friendly behavior: I ordered a coffee at 3 pm, and as soon as I finished it, 15 minutes later the waitress came back to me. I told her I'd order a second one later. An hour later, I went to order another one when a new, punkish waitress accosted me, telling me it was unacceptable to "enjoy the terrace" and that I needed to find another place to sit. The terrace was empty, so I went to get my coffee somewhere else.

18/01/2026: A truly wonderful experience! This is a must-visit in Strasbourg if you're looking for a delicious meal, plus the view of the cathedral is exceptional.

07/11/2025: This place has certainly seen better days. The service could be more professional (and less focused on phones behind the bar, munching on sweets), and the food should live up to the prices. Certain details—drinks running low on keg, industrial bread, sloppy maintenance—give the impression of a place that's losing its edge. The experience no longer aligns with the image the restaurant wants to project. As for the chef, he needs to come back down to earth a bit.

26/08/2025: I regularly try Verrine et Vapeur's dishes via orders through the Hoplunch app. Every time, I enjoy myself and God knows I'm not a fan of prepared meals but it's easier on days at the office! Being particularly demanding about the quality of my meals, I find myself fully at their place. Always a vegetable with the dish, a feeling of real homemade food, quality raw materials and really top-notch cooking despite final reheating in the microwave. Not to mention authentic and mastered seasoning, without too much salt but with pepper and herbs. An example today: spaghetti with creamy sauce, salmon steak, roasted cherry tomatoes. Everything is perfect! Thank you for your efforts and the quality/price ratio, it's becoming so rare!!!

29/12/2025: The coq au Riesling was delicious and perfectly cooked, accompanied by excellent spätzle. Generous and authentic cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere.

19/12/2025: Large and spacious, well-decorated location, perhaps a little dark. Service is average, but a loose puppy roaming the tables isn't the best. Tartiflette is one to forget.

09/02/2026: A delightful discovery! This typical Alsatian restaurant is easily accessible from the main street and has its own free parking. The welcome is warm and friendly, in a traditional setting. Their specialty, as you might expect, is of course flammkuchen in various presentations, but they also offer dishes to satisfy even the most discerning palates. As for drinks, there are several options, from non-alcoholic options to glasses of wine or bottles—as the saying goes, please drink responsibly. In short, a pleasant experience to share alone or with friends.

21/01/2026: A wonderful hotel restaurant in Châtenois with a warm, home‑like atmosphere. The impressive collection of teddy bears 🧸 gives the place a unique and charming character. Very friendly staff and a welcoming hostess - you feel genuinely well taken care of. We started with foie gras and toasted bread, paired with a Porto aperitif over ice - excellent. For the main course, I had Poulet au Riesling with Spätzle, perfectly cooked and flavorful, paired with a lovely Pinot Gris. My companion ordered the escalope de veau, also very good. No place for dessert after all 🫣, but the espresso was outstanding - thick, aromatic, rich. The place gets busy, so reservations are recommended - we were lucky to get a table on Sunday. Cozy, authentic Alsatian cuisine and hospitality. Highly recommended😍

23/09/2024: I came to eat there last night and was served by a man who was nonchalant on several occasions. He asked me to repeat what I was saying because he preferred to hum than listen to me. I told him the ingredients and he absolutely did not respect the order given and when I made the remark he told me that it was not serious while being very cold. Not even a single smile and believe me if this one was on the menu I would have taken it too! So last night a very bad experience for me I felt like I was too much (I ate there but I didn't feel so comfortable that I asked for a bag and left eat the rest at home) Find a solution... because if it's like that with all your customers people will continue to flee. In any case I'm shouting TO RUN!!! Because of this person who is absolutely unprofessional!!!!!

The service is impeccable, and all dishes are served with a cheerful atmosphere. The aperitif and coffee are served with thoughtful, homemade touches, which is quite rare in this type of establishment.

31/10/2025: The keys to happiness! A high-quality welcome, exceptional cuisine (fried carp with wild garlic sauce and fries). We enjoyed a peaceful setting, beautifully set tables, and superb presentation. Nothing to complain about except BRAVO and THANK YOU.
