01/09/2026: Very disappointed by our last meal there; it's been a few years since we last went. It's not bad, but it's not worth the price. First red flag: no wine pairing. Second red flag: an absurd wine list; the cheapest bottle is nearly €100. Third red flag: impossible to get a second glass of butter! The cheese was pre-cut as thin as cigarette paper. It wasn't gourmet at all. 😞

22/08/2026: We had an excellent evening celebrating our wedding anniversary. The food was superb and the wine pairing suggestions were spot on.

The friendly atmosphere and kindness make all the difference. Whether you eat in or take away, it's always a pleasure. A fantastic team and a place I wholeheartedly recommend!

08/08/2026: A wonderful discovery in Alsace! We had lunch at this restaurant today and had a fantastic time. The cuisine is simple, authentic, and truly delicious, yet the dishes are beautifully presented and worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. A real feast for the eyes even before you start eating! The manager is lovely, always smiling, and very welcoming. She took excellent care of us throughout the meal, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The place is warm and inviting, decorated with great taste and attention to detail, all in a beautiful Alsatian style that gives the place a lot of charm. A place where you feel comfortable, where the food is excellent, and which we recommend without hesitation.

02/10/2026: We come to this restaurant regularly, about every two to three months. During these lunches, close friends and family often invite me to join them for a pleasant meal. We chose this establishment in particular because of its convenience and because we were regulars. During our last meal, we simply remarked that the meat was a little tough. It was a calm observation, made as customers, without any aggression or intention to criticize the restaurant. We were very surprised by the owner's reaction, who replied, "I don't care, we won't be here in three months!" referring to their upcoming retirement. It's understandable that the meat might be a little off on a particular day. That's not really what disappointed us. It was the way a simple comment was received. We weren't expecting any special gesture or preferential treatment, simply that a customer comment would be heard courteously and respectfully. The fact that one is about to retire doesn't, it seems to me, preclude remaining attentive to one's customers until the very last day. It's a shame, because we came regularly and would gladly have continued to enjoy these lunches. Unfortunately, we will retain a rather different impression of this last meal than we had previously.

26/05/2026: A hotel that has seen better days. However, great emphasis is placed on friendliness and cleanliness. We enjoyed our stay and received a very warm welcome and were treated to a delicious lunch. For dinner, we were able to order just an appetizer without any problem. Breakfast was offered as a small buffet and was sufficient to start the day. We felt very comfortable.

28/04/2026: We enjoyed spending the night at this place. Breakfast was delicious, with three kinds of fresh bread and good cheese. We treated ourselves to a massage and can highly recommend it.

18/09/2026: Family reunion dinner, superb evening, great atmosphere despite the crowds. We were seated on the first floor at a lovely table of eight, comfortably seated. Our server that evening, Emmanuel, was very friendly and energetic 😉. I'm sharing a few photos of our dishes; everything was delicious, and the meat was cooked exactly as ordered. In short, as you can tell, I highly recommend it. It's essential to book in advance, as the restaurant was fully booked (Wednesday evening).

16/09/2026: We stumbled upon this place during a tour of Alsace. Despite the lunch break just around the corner, we were still able to get a coffee! The staff was very friendly, and the covered terrace had a great atmosphere. The other guests, many local families, were clearly happy and enjoying themselves. We've decided to come back for lunch.

26/05/2026: We've known this restaurant for many years; in fact, they've been here for 20 years! Besides the restaurant itself, there's also Kathia and Jean-Luc, without whom the restaurant wouldn't have the same prestige. The food is impeccable, delicious, and unpretentious, simply served with care, just like at home. They're always attentive to their customers, who keep coming back with great pleasure to delight our taste buds. Thank you, don't change a thing, and see you very soon! Kisses to you both! ✌

10/10/2026: A truly satisfying experience! The exceptional kindness of the servers deserves special mention: they are lovely, attentive, and incredibly caring. Dogs are welcome and even pampered, a real bonus! The service is quick despite the crowds, and the Alsatian cuisine is excellent. It's difficult to recommend a particular dish because I loved them all! I wholeheartedly recommend this place, both for the quality of the food and the exceptional welcome!

21/08/2026: I came on Friday, August 21st at noon with a friend. We had an excellent meal; the portions were very generous, the flavors were incredible—kudos to the kitchen! Special mention for the Scandinavian toast. The service was truly superb. Florence was incredibly responsive, which is exactly what you look for in a waitress. She was also very friendly and attentive to her customers, and her energy was fantastic. Thanks also to the other waitress for her kindness and politeness. In any case, I will definitely be back, and thank you. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until we paid, and the service was excellent throughout.

01/10/2026: The welcome was rather mediocre, the waiters weren't very friendly, it's a shame because the tarte flambée was good...

29/09/2026: The warm welcome and friendly staff reflect the quality of the place and its delicious Alsatian dishes and unlimited tarte flambée. (Even though parking isn't always easy, it's well worth it). 🍴
