Of course now I'm going to say the things that aren't right, then it's not to lower this professional, but more to improve. 1) Lack of a drinks menu, when you sit down and are asked "What do you want to drink as an aperitif?" That's nice, but what do you serve? . 2) Given the heat, the drinks are unfortunately not cold enough, we will say that it is colder than cold. 3) I also find that the waitress organization needs to be reviewed, because we have seen several times, a waitress who goes to the customer's table, and takes the order and a minute later, the other waitress goes to the same table and asks what customers want. In any case it's a restaurant, simple and rather good, afterwards I think that if it were to attract more people it would be necessary to review the raw materials and will attract more people with formulas for small budgets, example: instead of doing veal cordon bleu, why not make them with chicken? . Otherwise we feel that it is homemade, like their fried potatoes, very good. In any case, if you want to spend a quiet evening, we advise you to go there, because it's a professional who doesn't push you to quickly leave your table, we give you time to enjoy your moment without putting yourself out there. pressure in any case we still had an excellent evening. To say that they are so cool that we even came by several times, even though we had finished for several minutes without asking us if we wanted a dessert, we had to ask for the menu to be able to enjoy the following. But I think it's a lack of organization among the waitresses but it's nothing serious, it was the weekend 😜. In any case, good luck to you!

Not smiling, gives the impression of not being welcome. Regarding the meal, the flames are excellent, but the service remains to be desired..

08/09/2024: I ate alone, my table was not cleaned. Average reception therefore, and obviously 9 p.m. is the limit to be served on a Saturday... it was tarte flambée or nothing. When it comes to cooking, there's an unpleasant feeling that nothing is homemade, or at best straight out of the freezer. A forest tart flambée and an iced kouglof, nothing extraordinary though and typical, it's a bit of a tourist trap in the emblematic place of Little France not far from the covered bridge, too bad. This famous tarte flambée, a super simple and inexpensive dish, offered between 10 and 13 euros, at this price it is exceptional or it is not serious.

31/08/2024: During our short trip to Strasbourg we ate at La petite venise. The experience was rather disappointing, the staff was inattentive and the tarte flambée was edible but I would have managed it at least as well myself. Unfortunately, the dishes were also not clean and had to be replaced first. We wouldn't recommend it.

01/09/2024: Modern, innovative cuisine prepared with fresh seasonal products. We enjoyed ourselves from start to finish, with a wine recommended by the sommelier who was friendly and warm. The setting is really cozy, the terrace is very pleasant. The value for money on the dishes is there (even if the house cocktail remains very expensive compared to the work). However, the service could be reviewed between a young waitress who does not pay attention to the customers and clears up before the end and another with whom the contact is cold and makes the customer feel her mood.

18/08/2024: We had to find it! Hidden along a village road below Grendelbruch, this picturesque restaurant with an authentic feel would keep all these promises…. Arriving in a herd of around 10 people, exhausted from a walk in the surrounding mountains, my friends and I had the ambition to eat in the best possible way. Where to start I don't know, I would like to describe this moment using lyrical flights worthy of Molière's greatest pieces but I don't feel capable of it as the simplicity of the place and the moment passed had marked us ( in the good sense of the word). A few dishes on the menu but masterfully made by undoubtedly a top-flight experienced chef who knows how to tame the cooking of meats with an iron fist. Sumptuous sauces and extraordinary generosity in the quantity of mushrooms offered in the dishes (morels or chanterelles). The dishes were fair and flawless and we were all rave about the quality of our dishes (beef fillets, kidneys, frog legs and so on) I could stop there but I want to underline the Masterful effort with a capital M that was made for the dessert offer. A price at first glance significant but when we realized that a dessert could be worth 3 in other restaurants in terms of quantity, we quickly understood that the restaurateur's state of mind was sharing without compromise... . Everything was homemade, the original dessert accompaniments such as financiers, fruit sorbets, mousses of all kinds including a caramel one which I admit was my favorite ❤️…. It was a real delight and I’m still licking my lips writing this short passage of my feelings. All this to say that I highly recommend this restaurant if you are passing through. You will only risk falling sick with pleasure... what a beautiful feeling.... Goodbye and see you soon 👋

Pour mon mari : Moussaka revisitée avec aubergines, viande hachée, pommes de terre et champignon. Très bonne Petit bémol : style un peu vieillot. On recommande.

21/09/2024: We had reserved a table on a Saturday evening, we still had not received our dishes 1h15 after ordering (in exaggeration). We had ordered a drink but we weren't even served drinks for 1 hour 15 minutes. Some customers who arrived after us were served before. No one came to see us to explain the situation. We ended up leaving after 1:20, without the waiters even noticing. Too bad, we won't come back again.

20/09/2024: Very professional welcome. The cheese platter offered to me was delicious. Perhaps a little salad was missing to freshen things up. I let myself be guided about the wine and it was good advice.

02/07/2024: Très bonne cuisine maison, ils sont arrangeants car nous avions une personne végan avec nous, et ils se sont arrangés pour qu’un des plats convienne. L’emplacement est agréable et le jeune homme qui sert est sympathique.
