14/09/2024: Huge US type of stake house. It is understaffed -2 waitresses for the huge hall. Waited 20 minutes without being asked about drinks so we left for an other restaurant.

26/08/2024: My Dad and I were staying in Germany this past summer, and we decided to drive over into France for a night to explore and eat some French Cuisine. We arrived into France pretty late because it was a long drive from Munich, but once we got into the city, everything was so beautiful! We decided to try this restaurant and even though they were about to close they still served us, and not only that but the entire staff was so incredibly kind and accommodating to us, even though we were foreigners. My dad doesn’t speak French and I only know a little, but they were so sweet about speaking English to us, and they were nice enough to let me attempt to speak the little bit of French I knew. The food was AMAZING! It was one of the best meals we had in Europe, and they had a great vegetarian option for me to try as well! The staff themselves, made our trip to France an unforgettable experience, but the incredible food just topped it off! If you are a foreigner or even if you are not, I would highly recommend this restaurant for their amazing service and delicious food. 10/10!

01/10/2024: We suddenly decided to have dinner there and it was much, much better than in another famous restaurant recommended in travel books where we had booked the day before. The food was delicious, the service was quick and friendly. Only to recommend.

17/12/2024: We stopped here on the way to Selestat and it was a great success. Authentic restaurant where there were many local people. The very friendly staff has made an effort to understand us and make themselves understood. The menu of the day is very complete and delicious!! Full day menu €15.5! Highly recommended!

02/12/2024: A very nice discovery, situated at the heart of Kintzheim. They offer a plat du jour formule and they do have a la carte. Very nice food, reasonably priced and great service. Recommended.

06/07/2025: On Friday July 4, 2025 around 1 p.m. on the terrace, the Asian-born and especially RUDE waiter, without us asking for anything, were seating us... "at this time, we no longer serve coffee, wanting to make us understand that we must consume SOLID food by obligation... in the process, another younger waiter sets the table with cutlery and brings us the menu ready to order tarte flambée. At first, the waiter says yes, only to change his mind a few minutes later, saying that there are no tarte flambées... in fact, you just have to EAT the crap that the staff imposes... we got up and left, we wonder at the moment if it is the customer who is still KING these days or if this place wants to keep a good clientele, I don't think so, given the RECEPTION... so I strongly advise you not to set foot in there... because it is a PURE SCAM….to be AVOIDED like the PLAGUE….

06/06/2025: I was scammed. My bill was €11.20. I was charged double this amount on my card (€22.40) and when I asked about it the staff member refused to pay the difference and was extremely rude. After 5 minutes of arguing with me and pretending he had no idea what I was talking about, he paid me back. It seems this has happened to many others too.

08/12/2024: Grosse déception comme entrée nous avions pris du foie gras qu'elle arnaque c'était une fine tranche coupée en quatre pas le temps de savoir quel gènre de foie gras c'était que de délicieux toasts brules a outrance ont pris la saveur du petit bout de foie gras. Pour les cordons bleus au munster il fallait chercher le munster quant à la crème qui devait l'accompagner il ni en avait point j'ai demandé un peu de sauce qui m'a été facturé 1;50€ Plus jamais dans ce resto (pas très attirant) nous avons le passeport gourmand depuis une 20 taine d'années mais c'est la première grosse déception.

17/11/2024: Resto en fête au menu. Le repas est bon, quelques petits légumes en plus avec le plat aurait été un plus. Malgré le nombre de clients, le service était correct et le personnel avenant. Une belle découverte, et heureusement que l’on ne tient pas toujours compte des avis assassins.

04/12/2024: A brasserie as we like them. Restaurant very well located a stone's throw from the magnificent university palace. Impeccable service. I love the atmosphere. Tables fairly spaced apart. Finally, the minimalist menu guarantees freshness of the products. I recommend the spring rolls and the veal escalope with morels👍

22/09/2024: Bad. Meal not too good. The cottage cheese was seasoned which is not great. It was marked but I didn't think there would be onions and garlic. The waitress overdid it.

30/08/2024: Bad experience with the waiter named Thibault, who in addition to his bizarre behavior by avoiding asking for our order for 30 minutes even though he had served more people before us, he also acted with unjustified nastiness and aggressiveness when I made the request to him. remark on the pretext that we have to order from within, and that he is overwhelmed by people! Well, any excuse other than his blatant lack of professionalism, especially when my friend sympathetically calls him by his first name which appears on the invoice, he makes faces worthy of a "little", which he cowardly denies. I leave it to everyone to understand this behavior towards customers of North African origin and their agitated reactions when I confronted them following their unworthy actions.
