19/05/2026: Amazing authentic restaurant, in the middle of Strasbourg. The building holds some important history back to 1861. The food was absolutely delicious, we had the hotch poth dish, which was a mixture of meats marinated for sometime and cooked very slowly, with some vegetables, spices and covered with potatoes which melted in your mouth. The service was quick and very friendly. Thank you ❤️

13/03/2026: Sorry, I had justified my rating, but the text didn't appear. Here it is: we chose your restaurant for its ambiance. However, the baeckeoffe served was very dry. The potatoes were mushy (except for the one on top, which was burnt) and dry, as was the meat; there wasn't a single drop of juice.

02/06/2026: We drove 45 minutes to eat at this restaurant. The ash was excellent. 5/5 However... The service was deplorable; something was always missing (even the spoons for dessert...). The dessert was inedible... Ice cream and topping that looked like it belonged in the subway; I couldn't eat it. The owner, from the middle of the dining room, not even in private, called me out in front of everyone and shouted: "You shouldn't have ordered it if you're not going to eat it!" I didn't want to argue, so I didn't say anything... But the behavior is outrageous! If you serve garbage, don't try to make it worse by telling your customers they can't finish their meal.

10/05/2026: A romantic evening with a wonderfully warm welcome from the attentive owner! A British atmosphere, great humor, delicious and generous fusion cuisine, and some great wine discoveries too! The only downside was no Pimm's because they weren't yet in season, which was actually a good sign! We'll be back!

30/06/2026: A truly delightful moment by the canal lock: it was absolutely fantastic! What's more, the meal was delicious and very generous – in short, it was Alsatian. The staff were very friendly, and to top it all off, the bill was very reasonable. Go there, you'll be thrilled!

29/03/2026: We had dinner at Le Cerf, a family of four, on a Saturday evening, and overall it was a pleasant surprise for me. My in-laws, who were already familiar with the restaurant, wanted to introduce it to my partner and me. To start, we were offered a small glass of soup that evening: a nice little touch. For our starter, we chose to share a tarte flambée, which I found rather bland, and therefore disappointing. However, I was more than satisfied with the main course (and I think my partner and in-laws were too). I opted for the potato pancakes with salmon: simple and tasty. I appreciated the generous amount of smoked salmon on the plate. My in-laws had chosen the cordon bleu with fries, while my partner thoroughly enjoyed a piece of beef cooked rare, just as requested. I decided to stop there, as the dessert menu didn't particularly appeal to me! We also appreciated the restaurant's ambiance with its warm, vintage decor. It was also quite quiet that evening, which made for pleasant conversation. Overall, we had a lovely time as a family enjoying a generally good meal.

18/06/2026: Great place for a good meal. Excellent service from the two ladies who worked there. The food was plentiful and, in our opinion, excellent. My wife was craving the sauerkraut, and she was very happy with it. A good portion. Thank you very much.

13/01/2026: We had a little snack break at this bakery, and the saleswoman greeted us with a big smile! I even got whipped cream with my chocolate fondant cake 😋 Thank you to this wonderful saleswoman!

05/01/2026: We expected something much better since it is housed in the Gallerie Lafayette building. A real disappointment. The wait to order... was quite long. although in fact one person was serving. Prices are comparable to the city but for a small quantity. The space is suffocating and comparing it to the building in Paris, I really think you only go there out of necessity. The toilets, let's emphasize that they charge you €1 per person but at least they are very clean.

01/06/2026: This is an exceptional restaurant. The food is excellent, succulent, and simply divine. You never tire of it. Sandra and Olivier are very friendly and attentive to their customers. The ban on mobile phones is a very good idea. You can take the time to savor what's on your plate and chat quietly. Well done to you both, and thank you!

05/07/2026: We had reserved a table for 10 people this Sunday evening. When we arrived, we were seated inside. We asked to be seated on the terrace, but were told that it wasn't possible to set up large tables outside and that everything was full... yet we clearly saw that there were still free tables outside... Then, since we were a group of more than 9 people, we didn't have access to the full menu (which hadn't been mentioned to us when we made the reservation)... So no tarte flambée, no Alsatian dishes, only three desserts available... Despite our repeated requests, no effort was made. We won't be back!

03/07/2026: Delicious, typical Alsatian food can only be found here! Everything is so tasty 😋. A lot of things in the dining room were recently freshened up, so the atmosphere is wonderful, fresh, and authentic. I'll definitely be back.
