21/09/2024: On y était en premier service , (heureusement, à notre sortie il y avait une queue d une trentaine de personnes) invité par des amis, tarte flambée correcte... Je suis sur la ligne des avis négatifs concernant le système absolut,de la direction très hautaine du lieu, de 2 services dans la soirée. On y allait plus ,pour cause l entassement des convives, ce lieu est incompatible avec l envie de passer une soirée relax. Cela n a pas varié depuis plus d' une décennie. On a constaté les nouveaux prix Champs Elyséens notamment des boissons. Pas recommandable.

03/09/2024: Top service, super good flambé tarts, I will come back without hesitation.

01/10/2024: Feels more like a Grand Café. A large round table in the corner where patrons drink and chat loudly. Furthermore, a fairly business atmosphere (there is nothing wrong with that) and a menu with not too much choice. Dishes are not seasoned enough for my taste, with the exception of a more than excellent fish soup. Fine for a quick bite to eat, but don't expect haute cuisine

29/09/2024: Wissembourg is a very nice town with many opportunities. In “Du Saumon” you can eat regional food and it is very tasty 😋. The beer garden is also nice but it was too cool for that today. But the interior is also cozy.

31/08/2024: I have just been disappointed or even disgusted with the commercial behavior of the super u Molsheim at reception, I had done big shopping for more than €280 and when I got home I realized that I was missing an item but that it was good on my receipt about €12, I had to leave it at the checkout as it was a small item, I went to reception twice with my receipt to collect my item, after my first visit they had to do research but no news after 2 days I returned and was told that the security guard saw that I had put the item in the shopping cart after several checks in the car trunk...I didn't nothing and I'm sure I didn't put it in a shopping bag

17/11/2024: Accueil chaleureux. Viande sur pierre parfaite. Les fleischkierlas aussi étaient très bons pour ceux qui en ont pris. Nous étions 10 et tout le monde était satisfait A recommander.

27/10/2024: Suite à un avis défavorable laissé sur the fork sans commentaire, le restaurant m’a contacté via sms le lendemain me demandant les raisons, après leur avoir répondu, je n’ai eu aucun retour et comme par surprise mon avis a été supprimé sur the fork. Ils ont comme technique d’annuler la réservation qui avait été bien honorée et payée sur the fork pour ainsi supprimer les avis qui ne leurs conviennent pas. Concernant mon passage chez pierre et gamelle, le restaurant a largement anticipé les -50% proposé sur the fork avec une augmentation préalable des prix de la carte pour être très rentable. Ne connaissant pas et n’ayant pas était informé par rapport au concept de la pierre, quelle a était ma surprise.. de devoir cuire ma propre viande pour 34€ avec des frites non frit d’une quantité minime et pour ma compagne un plat rempli de graines de poivre rendant la sauce trop forte et donc la dégustation compliqué. Pour le service, nous devions être 3/4 tables avec maximum 6 personnes dans la salle pour un délais d’attente beaucoup trop long. L’ambiance ? Je la cherche toujours.

05/09/2024: Discovered randomly, while we were looking for a bar to have a drink. Pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, the setting and the beers. I was able to taste draft beer from the Intenables brewery. The flame was good too. Special mention to the service, smiling people, very welcoming and warm.

18/12/2024: The food is of very good quality and is plentiful.

16/12/2024: We won't come back again. We were very poorly received, we had the impression of being a nuisance. After an hour of waiting for our order, we asked if the waitress knew if we had to wait much longer. 5 minutes later the owner almost threw the plates in front of us and reproached us loud and clear. We tried to justify to ourselves that it was a simple question, but she cut us off. Haughty and she spoke to us without looking at us. If we hadn't been so hungry, we would have left. The only consolation is that the dishes were good.

18/12/2024: Received with a smile. The waitress honestly let us choose our place. We enjoyed the dish of the day. Fresh and in quantity. Without much culinary pretension but frankly good! Nice place in summer but nice in winter. When visiting “little France”, honestly think about it.

16/12/2024: Very good, cozy little restaurant with good food. Very warm welcome from the waitress with good advice on places to visit. I highly recommend it 👍

20/09/2024: I just got attacked by the reception because I was looking for a trash can to throw away a tissue and the receptionist took exception to me and said that it was forbidden even though I am a guest of the hotel. Then he followed me everywhere. Dangerous behavior.

18/09/2024: I recently had an excellent stay at Ciarus Youth Hostel in Strasbourg, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and at home. A special shoutout to Deborah, who went above and beyond when I accidentally left my wallet in the locker. She arranged for it to be delivered back to me in Hong Kong promptly and efficiently. I was so relieved and grateful for her help! The service throughout my stay was exceptional. The counter staff were incredibly friendly, providing me with helpful directions to various sites, including the European Court of Human Rights. Their local knowledge made my visit so much easier and more enjoyable. The hostel itself is conveniently located near the main train station, making it easy to get around. The beds and overall environment were impeccably clean, which is always a plus for a solo traveler like myself. I wholeheartedly recommend Ciarus for anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay in Strasbourg. Thank you once again for sending back my wallet!

17/05/2025: A great concept for a small restaurant inside the chocolate shop. The focus is on the dessert section with a small buffet. The main course selection is very limited (three Dampfnudel dishes and one daily special). The location is unique; there's even a former dining car for events with more than 20 people.

27/09/2024: Great discovery in Petite France, the menu is simple with quality products The nice surprise was to have a beautiful Hélène pear served with excellent hot chocolate on the side, I appreciated it is rare. Nice view of the square

12/01/2025: I reserved a table for dinner today, Saturday January 11th. I received confirmation by email. I show up at the restaurant at the indicated time (8:15 p.m.) and it is closed. They could have warned. We had dinner in the restaurant across the street (Chez Yvonne) fantastically good. I'm glad for the mistake

03/01/2025: To flee! Very unpleasant and uncomfortable reception. The prices of the aperitifs are outrageous, €18 for a kir. The waiter watched us the whole time as no one else was in the restaurant. No cheese present in the cordon bleu and no breading on it and 2 mushrooms in the mushroom sauce. A munster shank without munster, a kidney soup. Frozen meals. We hear the sound of the microwave running. The disgusting toilets make it impossible to relieve oneself. Some people came in and settled in and then left having received the card at an exorbitant price and we understand why!
