05/01/2026: We expected something much better since it is housed in the Gallerie Lafayette building. A real disappointment. The wait to order... was quite long. although in fact one person was serving. Prices are comparable to the city but for a small quantity. The space is suffocating and comparing it to the building in Paris, I really think you only go there out of necessity. The toilets, let's emphasize that they charge you €1 per person but at least they are very clean.

23/01/2026: The tarte flambée was acceptable, nothing special (it didn't exactly make me want to come back), but the waitress's friendliness (who, sadly, was also the owner) was ZERO. So, all things considered, I'll never return. The decor is also rather unremarkable for an Alsatian restaurant.

27/02/2026: A superb experience in Sélestat, a great restaurant. In addition to Alsatian dishes, there's a small menu offering extras like hanger steak and pork knuckle. We enjoyed our meal on the terrace in this beautiful weather; it was magnificent, the food was excellent, and the owners were very friendly. If you're ever passing through Alsace, come and enjoy authentic, homemade cuisine.

13/03/2026: Les Toqués du Coin is the kind of place that makes Strasbourg a delight. A warm, almost homey atmosphere with attentive service; Olivier will make you feel right at home. The cuisine is refined, featuring fresh ingredients and thoughtfully presented dishes. Special mention goes to the foie gras and the catch of the day, both perfectly cooked. Their desserts are also excellent. Price-wise, it's very reasonable for the quality. A truly great place for a flawless meal!

08/03/2026: We were very warmly welcomed at lunchtime; the owner even opened the door a little early, offering us coffee before we could sit down to eat...the dishes are cooked by a South African chef, combining exotic flavors with the Paul Bocuse tradition, a very good time!

17/01/2026: The sauerkraut was generous and delicious, and the homemade raspberry ice cream (you can really taste the fruit) and vanilla ice cream were excellent. We always receive a warm welcome and great service at this restaurant. You can also take the opportunity to do some shopping at the butcher's counter.

13/03/2026: Sorry, I had justified my rating, but the text didn't appear. Here it is: we chose your restaurant for its ambiance. However, the baeckeoffe served was very dry. The potatoes were mushy (except for the one on top, which was burnt) and dry, as was the meat; there wasn't a single drop of juice.

29/12/2025: No rules were posted at the entrance or on the menu. When we ordered, we were suddenly told we needed a main course instead of just an appetizer. When we tried to understand this rule (which we only discovered after we were seated), we were met with an aggressive and unpleasant attitude. As a result, we left without being served. A simple reminder: a restaurant can set its own rules as long as they are clearly stated in advance. This was not the case here. Beyond the legal aspect, the service and the way customers were spoken to were unacceptable. A very bad experience. I do not recommend it.

31/01/2026: The rooms are very basic, but that's exactly what I wanted since we had planned activities in the area and didn't want to spend all day in the room. There's also a TV with German and French channels. The rooms are very clean and simply furnished. We paid €93 for three people for one night. We also booked breakfast for an additional €10 per person on the day of arrival. The breakfast was really extensive. All in all, we would stay here again.

26/03/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not only was their hot chocolate amazing, but the service from the young woman was simply sensational. She made us feel very welcome at all times. We are students from Barcelona and are here for an extended period, so we will definitely be back many times. Highly recommended!

The hosts are warm and welcoming; it was a real pleasure to chat with them. And the food… absolutely delicious! Everything was excellent from start to finish. A fantastic discovery; we will definitely be back!
