01/07/2026: This was the best meal we had in Alsace. Found it by accident and what a great discovery. The food was cooked superbly especially the Bream. Also loved the Munster Cheese flambe. Great wines from the next door winery. The service was lovely especially when it started to rain and we were sitting outside. They quickly found tables inside for us upstairs. Highly, highly recommend

07/06/2026: We visited Chez Kuna restaurant on June 5th with my wife and our three children. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Everything was delicious – the meat, the salad, and the fries were excellent. We especially want to commend the very friendly, attentive, and courteous staff. We felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. If I had to rate this restaurant on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it 12! Our whole family was delighted. If we return to Colmar, we will definitely visit this restaurant again. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

02/06/2026: Hello, I went to this restaurant for the first time for Mother's Day and I have nothing but positive things to say. The service was top-notch 👌🏼, the staff incredibly friendly, and the meal was generous and delicious. Thank you so much! (I just have one small comment: we were a party of five—four adults and one child—and we ordered the children's menu. It was very well presented on a large plate, with two mixed dishes and a chef's special, all served on the same plate. I had to ask what it was because I thought a dish was missing.) But otherwise, it was very good, and I will definitely be back 😊. I highly recommend it!

I would gladly return with my loved ones. Keep up the good work! Note to the complainers: go stuff yourselves at McDonald's, which is better suited to the refinement of your palate.

06/06/2026: I had reserved a table for myself and two other people. The evening started a little noisy, but it quickly calmed down! The servers were all equally pleasant. We ate as we pleased, and even the dessert that had caught our eye disappeared, just like the rest of the dishes! Thank you for your warm welcome and kindness; we will be back soon!

26/07/2026: SUPER delicious food! No-nonsense, lovely people serving you. We hadn't reserved but fortunately were still able to join the queue for, as mentioned, very tasty food at a very reasonable price. No mayonnaise or ketchup, but good fries (we are Belgians) and super tasty bacon. Local drinks, which we fully understand and applaud in that setting! Go visit, it might be best to reserve in advance, there is plenty of parking. No playground, but the ladies in my party said the toilets were very clean. We burned the calories climbing 198 vertical meters! Satisfied and fulfilled! Thanks

It's worth noting that the ingredients are locally sourced, which makes it even more enjoyable. The service was impeccable and pleasant. The chef's visit at the end of our meal was a lovely touch. You can tell that the entire restaurant team is dedicated to making their customers feel pampered. A restaurant you absolutely must try.

05/06/2026: We've eaten at L'AO three times already. Each time, we were pleasantly surprised by the menu selection. Every course is exquisite. They cook superbly with fantastic ingredients. Although L'AO is off the beaten tourist track, it's well worth the slight detour in every respect. The prices are also very fair overall, including the well-thought-out wine list. The restaurant also offers comfortable rooms for overnight stays. For us, L'AO is always a highlight among the many restaurants in southern Alsace.
