The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the decor elegant, the service impeccable, and the staff lovely, attentive, and passionate. You immediately feel at ease, as if you're in a place where everything is designed to ensure the customer has a unique experience. Honestly, we really wonder why this restaurant hasn't yet earned a Michelin star, because it more than deserves it. A must-visit, one we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will definitely return. 22/02/2026: Our first visit to the refuge and an excellent experience. The walk to the refuge allows you to get some fresh air and experience a "mountain" atmosphere that you don't find in Megève town center. The welcome is excellent, the food simple and delicious (we especially loved the génépi/pear soufflé for dessert). The only risk is that the refuge will become a regular stop on our future trips, but we'll need to book well in advance because it's definitely a place we recommend. See you soon! 🙂

22/02/2026: Old style mountain atmosphere, beautiful secluded setting with great scenery, the food is excellent and portions generous. We had a 12h slow-cooked lacquered pig as main course and it was delicious. The restaurant is small so few tables and you need to book well in advance on high season
