11/09/2025: Friendly waitress and nice salads, but fried fishes & veggie burger were tough to point of being almost inedible. Agree with other post about apparently overcooked (dark) chips, which at the same time seemed undercooked - possibly the worst frites I’ve had in France! Strange response from owner. I changed main course because it was due to be fried fishes, which had been my partner’s very poor starter & was relieved the last minute change was possible. I would suggest that instead of criticisng every negative review, they learn from the process & improve! Also, might be a good idea to ask why somebody has not eaten most of their meal.

01/03/2026: Very disappointing experience – Nonexistent value for money We spent two nights at this establishment and our experience was very disappointing. The positives: - Location: Just 200m from the village center, it's extremely convenient for getting around on foot. - Parking: An easily accessible outdoor parking lot. - Exterior: The hotel looks good from the outside, with attractive lighting and renovated outdoor spaces that give a good first impression. The negatives (the shock inside): Unfortunately, as soon as you step inside the room, the decor changes. - Outdated and unclean: The rooms are in a terrible state. The carpet is at least 20 years old and completely faded. The furniture is damaged, and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired (the coffee table was literally covered in grime). - Bathroom: Unacceptable. The bathroom fixtures are of very poor quality, and the whole place is a sorry sight. - Safety: The staircase leading to the mezzanine was so steep as to be dangerous, even for an adult, and even more so for children. Breakfast: A disaster. The bare minimum, with pre-packaged, industrial products. It's clear there's no kitchen to prepare anything fresh. Conclusion: The value for money is nonexistent. The prices charged are completely below Megève hotel standards. This establishment is more like a hostel or a low-end two-star hotel than a boutique hotel. Very disappointing.

29/01/2026: Having a fantastic time with friends... The jazz atmosphere was perfect, showcasing the musicians' talents with magnificent improvisations. I highly recommend it for jazz lovers and anyone who enjoys musical moments – an experience to be enjoyed without moderation 😉.

19/01/2026: Hello La Seiche, you should really review your activities. Karaoke with Nadou is free, but now you're charging for it. Who do you think we are? Next time, don't bother. It's free on the La Seiche website, so please don't charge people. Next time, if we have to pay €6 and it's suddenly €10, that's highway robbery! If this keeps up, we'll have to pay. Well, that's it. Get this through your thick skulls.

12/01/2026: What a disappointment! We usually enjoy this place on Sundays, especially since we were a group there for New Year's Day. Almost €300 for pâté en croûte. Pâté. Sausage in brioche. The meat was far too fatty. No local cheese. Disappointed with the food, disappointed with the service. Yet it's a beautiful place. In any case, we won't be going back on New Year's Day...

13/12/2025: A wonderful time at the Hermitage restaurant with my daughters. Attentive and professional service: the waiters thoughtfully noticed and added a small touch to our dessert, which was much appreciated. The sommelier's wine selection was excellent. The setting was elegant and pleasant.

16/02/2026: We had a wonderful weekend at this charming hotel. Lovely, comfortable rooms. Excellent restaurant, bright and beautifully decorated. A generous breakfast buffet. Very friendly welcome. Very close to the lake and the promenade leading to Annecy. Parking (free in winter). We'll gladly return!

16/02/2026: Having received a voucher for a night and a meal at Bel Abri, unfortunately, due to a health issue, the voucher has expired. I wrote to the owner, who refused to acknowledge the problem and replied that he would not offer any compensation. It's very sad, because my friends who gave me the voucher had already paid, and my health prevented me from using it. I'm disappointed.

17/02/2026: As regulars at Le Grizzli for over 10 years, we've known several owners. This lunchtime, we dropped by on a whim and were doubly delighted: we were able to enjoy everything we were hoping for in terms of main course and dessert in a warm and welcoming atmosphere with very pleasant people. The meat is excellent; there are three of us meat lovers, and the rib-eye steaks were simply monstrously good and tender. The pepper and mushroom sauces were to die for (that's saying something...). Plus, we managed to get a rare treat for dessert: the génépi ice cream sundae with génépi liqueur (that's THE deciding factor for us), and as a bonus, the lady introduced us to génépi koffee... thrilled from start to finish, we'll be back without hesitation! Thank you for this wonderful experience!

28/01/2026: Bad reviews are just not true. I met the manager during my visit and had a diner at the restaurant. Both the manager and staff are incredibly polite, attendant and friendly. Yes of course you pay the Megeve prices, you are in Megeve but that's to be expected. The food was incredible and the entire experience was beyond expectations. Thank you. Ignore the bad reviews, these people are just snobs who want to ruin good businesses. I am leaving a one star review because I know you clicked on lowest like me and will see this review this way. But it's actually 5 stars. Now I believe in you to give those 5 stars after your experience. Thomas, thank you for being our waiter last night, you're a wonderful kid with a bright future, enjoy that bottle buddy.

24/01/2026: A very good gourmet restaurant. We had a Savoyard fondue which was delicious. No taste of alcohol and very creamy. The best I've ever had. The staff is very attentive to the customers. The price is very reasonable considering the setting and the city.

01/03/2026: Relaxed atmosphere, home-style cooking. Special mention for the spinach eggs and the croque monsieur. Whether you come with family, friends, or as a couple, you'll only find people who enjoy life.

17/01/2026: The doughnuts are great. The service is excellent. Just one small drawback: it's a shame the menu isn't updated regularly.

22/02/2026: We stopped by Le Privilege every night we were in Chamonix. Amazing food, burger and frog legs (!) were fantastic and I had the best Old Fashioned I had on the trip, not to mention the other specialty drinks that rocked. Live entertainment at happy hour created a great atmosphere. Our group was 10 Americans from 16 to 55 and we all loved Le Privilege. 10/10 would recommend.

04/01/2026: The atmosphere is cozy quaint lovely alps style, service is excellent, food and drinks delicious, awesome music, and will be back again, and again. Highly recommend, even as an ambivert I totally felt “at home” here!

14/09/2025: A small, typical restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of the city... a very friendly welcome, delicious and generous dishes. I'll happily return. If you're passing through Samoëns, don't hesitate... take the time to stop for lunch, you won't be disappointed.
