19/03/2026: Every year we come to end our holidays with a fantastic barbecue! Once you get over the initial surprise of the smoke from the braziers (asthmatics beware!!!...), the old-fashioned farm-inn atmosphere is friendly and welcoming! We have a soft spot for this place, which hosted us as a family for many years... We remember the perfect breakfasts back then...

09/03/2026: Excellent location for this family-run restaurant at the foot of the L'Hôtel slope. Everything is homemade. If you're looking for a typical mountain spot where you feel comfortable, eat well, and are served by attentive staff, you've come to the right place! Our go-to spot for a great fondue (and much more) every time we visit Praz-de-Lys, summer or winter.

14/03/2026: Once again, we had a wonderful time at the hotel restaurant. A very warm welcome, authentic cuisine with a truly amazing fondue and homemade desserts. We'll be back!

01/03/2026: A lovely hotel with a very warm welcome. The staff were professional and courteous. A special thank you to Sabrina who, throughout our stay, dedicated herself to making it as pleasant as possible. Thanks also to the chef for the wonderful meals: a cuisine to discover, specialties to devour, and a cheerful atmosphere right from breakfast (absolutely fantastic!). The location is ideal for enjoying the ski areas of Essert and La Chapelle d’Abondance or for exploring the surrounding area. We will be back. Hélène and Fabrice.

02/09/2026: As is often the case, we came for lunch on the terrace today, and the meal was a disaster: - We were initially only offered the set menu, not the à la carte menu. We had to insist on getting it. - Several dishes were missing. - My granddaughter's (4 years old) meal took a very long time to be served. - The meat on the set menu (grilled short rib) was extremely tough. - The dish was described as "Café de Paris sauce," but it was just two small pieces of herb butter. - My prawn salad was 90% lettuce and swimming in dressing. - My son was served the wrong dessert from the set menu. - I wasn't offered any dessert (no dessert menu was brought to me). - We weren't offered any coffee. - To top it all off, my granddaughter wasn't served syrup, even though it was included in the children's menu. I only realized it at the end of the meal and was told I should have asked for it during the meal! No apology whatsoever, and what's more, I had to insist to get the syrup deducted from the bill! It's not about the few euros for the syrup, but the proper etiquette would have been for them to apologize for forgetting (it happens to everyone) and, above all, to spontaneously offer to deduct its cost from the bill! Instead, the manager left grumbling at me without any apology!… We used to frequent this restaurant, but it's clear we won't be returning given the poor quality of our meal! A word to the wise!

22/07/2026: We took a double bed room I think, there is only 2 cable if you want to charge your phone +1 if you count the tv charging, +1 in the bathroom high up. There is climatisation, total= 4. Just me: the floor tile in the bathroom and toilet aren't symmetrical it's weirding me out. Who in the world made the floor omg.

17/06/2026: Booked this hotel; the actual hotel is located 600 meters from this location. What you ultimately end up in is a quiet and very well-situated villa with a swimming pool, dining area, and bar. The rooms were clean, and the pool was quiet and lovely. Recommended for those who love peace and nature.

02/08/2026: Don't pass through Alby-sur-Chéran without stopping at Les Petits Galets. A lovely couple with homemade treats and helpful tips about the region for walks and family outings—you can tell they love their area. Perfect for an aperitif, a meal break, or just a truly excellent coffee. A timeless moment in a unique and unpretentious setting. We love it—nothing is wasted, everything is recycled! You really have to look everywhere! 😂😘

19/09/2026: Linda provided excellent service. A group of friends and I went, and from the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly kind and attentive. The reservation, the service, and the food were all spectacular. We will definitely be back!

31/08/2026: We were cycling around the lake and didn't know where to have lunch, we chose this restaurant and it's a very good place, quiet, good service, friendly waiter, we ate well and were very well received, I recommend it.

26/08/2026: We went to this place to order two pizzas. We waited for over an hour, without even being told how long the wait would be. The only time anyone came to see us was to move us to another table because they were serving a large group. There are far too many people and too few staff; there's no point in serving so many if you can't serve them in a reasonable timeframe. The younger servers do their best and remain friendly, while others are sour and barely offer an apology, looking annoyed and raising their eyebrows. When we pointed out that we had been waiting for an hour, we were simply told, "That's the normal wait time, didn't anyone tell you?" In addition to the hour-long wait and the table change, we waited almost 20 minutes for the bill when we just wanted to leave (it wasn't possible to pay at the counter). We are regular restaurant diners and are tolerant of mistakes, but this was honestly one of the worst experiences we've ever had. The organization needs to be reviewed.

26/08/2026: I am pretty proud to say Archamps has only one restaurant but its really good. Coming here often, never disappointed by the food, always love the duck, the meat in general is really good here, all dishes I’ve enjoyed a lot. However to stop the bias as an Archampois, the wait is always long, they most of the time have only one waiter for the whole place, it’s not enough really, you may wait some time in between dishes. But the low amount of staff available are really nice and welcoming so I do recommend if in Archamps 😉

31/08/2026: Great! The food is always good and varied, and the desserts are truly amazing! The staff is always very friendly, I highly recommend it!

29/08/2026: With the change of ownership and chef, the quality has dropped considerably. The food was "heavy," and the fromage blanc didn't seem fresh. This was reported, but the staff didn't even taste it to verify.

07/09/2026: Very friendly and welcoming staff. The food are excellent and I ove the myrtille dessert with chantilly 😍. Very lively ambiance too. We highly recommend this restaurant.

19/08/2026: This was the best Caesar salad I've ever had! The service was quite fast and the staff friendly. The terrace with its misting system is a real plus. I took off one star because the tarts (lemon and Tropézienne) weren't on a table but in a refrigerator... Apart from that detail, everything was perfect.

20/08/2026: Second visit and still very satisfied. I highly recommend the perch fillets, they're delicious!

06/07/2026: I only ate, I didn't sleep. But the welcome was warm. Homemade food with a superb terrace. The only downside is parking in Bonneville, which is either a blue zone or paid parking lot, and the town is constantly under construction.
