26/07/2026: We went twice during the week for lunch. Excellent brasserie, the meats, salads, and pizzas were very good, generously topped, and well-seasoned. The service was impeccable. We appreciated being accepted for lunch as a party of five when we arrived at 1:00 PM. The price is reasonable considering the quality and the location on a lovely square in the heart of Thonon. We will definitely return. The food is good and the service is very pleasant—what more could you ask for? Nothing!

01/07/2026: A great restaurant, lively and with a great atmosphere. The unique concept allows you to sample several carefully prepared dishes chosen from the daily specials board. Everything is truly excellent. My only slight reservation concerns the desserts, which could be improved. Go without hesitation.

23/05/2026: A must-visit in the village! Le Fournil Lullinois is much more than a bakery and bar: it's a truly welcoming place where people love to gather. Everything is delicious, from the breads to the pastries, in a friendly and authentic atmosphere.

28/06/2026: Excellent experience, the staff are very friendly and energetic. The atmosphere is very pleasant with a beautiful view. The prices are extremely reasonable for an all-you-can-eat option including charcuterie, potatoes, Tomme Blanche cheese, salad, and potato fritters. Cheese and dessert are also included. Everything is homemade using the most local products possible – it's fantastic. A very nice experience; I recommend making a reservation.

19/06/2026: Same problem as before. We booked via landline; there's an answering machine, but the owners don't seem to care. We arrived on June 18th to find the door locked. We learned by phone that they are closed on Thursdays and Fridays, a fact not mentioned online or on-site. We finally got through to someone on the phone, but they were incredibly rude to us (3 of them), even though they were inside the establishment! Unfortunately, their reputation precedes them...

30/07/2026: A very positive review for both the cheese shop and the restaurant. We appreciated the authentic atmosphere of the restaurant, with attention to every detail. We enjoyed delicious, traditional dishes. Highly recommended if you're looking for local cuisine.

13/07/2026: A unique and incredibly welcoming setting in a converted farmhouse, very pleasant service, and a cheese fondue to die for! Everything is there for a lovely time with friends or family.

13/07/2026: We were very happy with our evening at La Fruitière. The welcome was warm and the service professional. The steak tartare was delicious, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. The terrace is lovely and peaceful, and the large parking lot is a real plus. We'll be back! Thank you!

16/08/2026: The atmosphere on the terrace was nice, but the service was awful... One waitress was incredibly unpleasant, and another waiter was rude to us at times. It's a shame, though, because the manager seems friendly.

14/08/2026: Truly disappointing. (Photo as proof of attendance; nothing against the servers who were polite, the "service" rating is explained below.) A place known to friends and family for decades is now one we will never return to. We arrived at 8:10 PM, and by the time our order was taken, it had been forgotten, and our appetizers arrived an hour later around 9:30 PM. The snails were very good. Shortly after, the main courses arrived, including the pork loin, which I know to be truly excellent and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The pork was overcooked and the meat was completely dry, the same for my mother. We sent the plate back. My father quite liked it (calf's head) but found the meat too hot, which is understandable (the dishes were poorly reheated). I didn't order dessert, but my parents did, though they were disappointed (the "chocolate génépi delight" was just an ice cream bar with a side dish). They arrived 20 minutes after the main courses. Sometimes, we have bad nights, it must have just been us. We understand because we know this place well and love it. But everything falls apart when the manager, apparently the chef, who was taking our money, is in denial and looking for a confrontation. From the moment we pay, not a word. The hefty bill of €194 is presented to us. I wait for him to finish talking to someone before starting a conversation with him. He knows what's wrong and suddenly springs into action, removing a pork dish from the rest of our order, in his great kindness, and asks what the problem is. I explain about the pork; I know how it's cooked. It was overcooked and completely dry. He tells me that's impossible since they're all cooked the same way. So, my mother and I are probably idiots, and I must have dreamt my own experience from a year ago. How stupid of me. I ask him how the dish should be cooked, to confirm whether tonight's or the one from a year ago is the correct version. The man looks at me and aggressively tells me he doesn't understand the question (that must be it). I explain the different ways meat is cooked, but he just goes back to those explanations, so my experience is worthless. My father kindly shares that he found his dish quite good, but the meat was too hot. The chef's response: no (?). So, my father is an idiot too. This is the first time I've come home from a restaurant to cook for myself. Congratulations on taking your €168; I'm not sure it was the right thing to do, certainly not in that way. Good luck to the waiters.

19/03/2026: Every year we come to end our holidays with a fantastic barbecue! Once you get over the initial surprise of the smoke from the braziers (asthmatics beware!!!...), the old-fashioned farm-inn atmosphere is friendly and welcoming! We have a soft spot for this place, which hosted us as a family for many years... We remember the perfect breakfasts back then...

09/03/2026: Excellent location for this family-run restaurant at the foot of the L'Hôtel slope. Everything is homemade. If you're looking for a typical mountain spot where you feel comfortable, eat well, and are served by attentive staff, you've come to the right place! Our go-to spot for a great fondue (and much more) every time we visit Praz-de-Lys, summer or winter.

01/08/2026: During my visit to Annecy for the Lake Festival with friends, we went to this restaurant where the owner greeted us with a truly frightening welcome. He asked if we were going to eat, and we replied that we were going to have an aperitif and then eat, barely having sat down. He then asked if we had chosen what we were going to drink, even though we hadn't even had time to decide. Ten minutes later, they asked us what we were going to eat, and I replied that we hadn't decided yet. He came back five minutes later, and we ordered our food. I ordered a burger that was truly awful. The fries were frozen and undercooked, and don't even get me started on the pizzas, which, to me, were like frozen mush. In short, I'm so disappointed with this experience. One thing is for sure: I'll never set foot in that place again.
