The welcome is warm and attentive; you feel right at home. The decor, a blend of wood and exposed stone, is very charming. A perfect place for a sweet treat or a romantic meal. 06/04/2026: The bread and pastries are good. The prices of the snacks and pastries are a bit high, but that's pretty much the same everywhere. However, the friendliness of one of the saleswomen seriously needs improvement. I imagine you don't "need" to be friendly given the number of customers who come through your bakery, but still. Being condescending to customers is unacceptable. It ruins the experience when the saleswoman is so unpleasant.

As for the food, we opted for the seven-course tasting menu and we weren't disappointed! The portions were generous, the cooking was perfect, and for cheese lovers, a magnificent platter is offered! We loved our experience and highly recommend this restaurant!

19/01/2026: They do not respond to booking SMS messages and when we arrive, we are greeted with a “we are full”. The least they could have done was say so at the time of booking so as not to go up for nothing.

07/12/2025: The perfect place to relax and enjoy delicious food. We'll definitely be back to try everything! We booked a table in the morning and received a very warm welcome. The meat was cooked to perfection, the dressing was exquisite, everything was delicious, thank you!

31/01/2026: The four-cheese fondue was a pleasure, but the four-white-wine fondue was so-so—too runny, tasting of white wine far more than cheese, and a ridiculously small portion considering the price and quality. I wonder if they think their customers are idiots. A tourist trap to avoid at all costs.

31/01/2026: Reservation made for 8:30 pm, table not available until 9 pm. They told me the problem was with their reservation system. An excuse they used last year, but we decided to try again. I ordered a dish of Diots (sausages) and was served smoked Montbéliard sausage, claiming they were local Diots. The Tartiflette recipe was really terrible; we prefer using crème fraîche instead of Reblochon cheese. The waiter was unpleasant and unprofessional. They offered no compensation for the wait. The prices were excessive for the quality of the food served. This is the last time I'll ever go there because they really treat us like fools.

09/03/2026: A wonderful discovery in Chamonix. The cuisine is refined and delicious, with well-balanced and beautifully presented dishes. The ingredients are high-quality and the flavors are expertly crafted. The service is attentive and the atmosphere pleasant. ☺️ It's the hotel restaurant, so reservations are recommended.

08/03/2026: A lovely family run hotel in a perfect location right at the bottom of the Prodains Express lift. We have stayed here 4 times now, and it’s always a lovely stay. The whole family work really hard to ensure that their guests have a great stay. The restaurant is excellent with lots of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The heated outdoor pool was opened this year too, which is a fantastic addition to an already great hotel. See you next year ⛷️

24/02/2026: Well, we went in this restaurant in winter, so maybe that explains what follows and the positioning of the restaurant is different in summer. The service was friendly and efficient. The menu was rather limited, with only a few dishes proposed. These were not really original, one salmon-based, one meat-based, one poultry-based, and the local specialty “filets de perche” that all local restaurants propose. The dishes come only with French Fries or pasta, no vegetables proposed. The cooking was rather average, the fish was too salty, the poultry was overcooked. The meat was good, though. The corresponding prices are not average, though, more in line with something more “semi-gastro”. So alas, unfortunately a small disappointment, we expected better.
