15/02/2026: /∆\ WARNING THIEVES /∆\ My reservation was double-charged and I was taken twice. The manager, who didn't even bother to leave her office, referred me through her employee to the booking website. However, this website is only an intermediary; it didn't prevent any money from being taken. The lack of response is unacceptable; such a lack of rigor inspires little confidence. The Eden Hotel had to contact me about a card issue, but when they noticed there were two reservations under the same name for the same dates and the same number of people, they went completely silent. Furthermore, on other booking sites, several reviews highlight how easily the hotel debits money unduly. I've been booking in Chamonix for six years, and this is the first time I've encountered such unscrupulous hoteliers.

08/02/2026: We stayed at this hotel and absolutely loved our experience. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute drive from the center, with a magnificent view of Mont Blanc. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The hotel's design is warm and elegant; you immediately feel at home. The restaurant is lovely, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It's an ideal hotel for families and groups. Excellent value for money. We will definitely return on our next visit to Chamonix! 🥰🥰

14/02/2026: The food was good but not very generous, especially for the price, and the service was really poor – no smiles, and we had to ask for everything ourselves, several times… in short, we understood why there was space left here and not elsewhere…

08/02/2026: A pleasant lunch at L'Authentic. The Savoyard burger was very good, quite substantial, and well-prepared. The dining room is attractive, with tasteful decor, and the view of the canal adds a real bonus to the setting. The service was adequate; overall, a good experience.

23/02/2026: Nice bar/restaurant (daily lunch menu, crêpe snacks, sandwiches). We didn't try the food, but the other customers seemed satisfied. We had drinks; the service was impeccable and quick. The prices were more than reasonable. Plus, there's a lovely terrace in the pedestrian zone.

26/02/2026: Absolutely terrible. Hot dishes are served in one section of the restaurant, but there's hardly anything to eat, and some dishes are out of stock. We were ushered into the other section of the restaurant with a cheese board and pâté. Then we wanted dessert, but since we weren't in the hot food area, they told us there were no desserts except a blueberry tart and and a not-very-good chocolate fondant. We weren't offered any of the homemade desserts. We were never informed of anything. Thanks for the wasted time and the lack of respect for customers. Avoid at all costs.

22/11/2024: We thought we'd come watch the rugby match in a nice pub, and we left before the end. Tasteless cuisine (rack of pork like straight out of a can) for 18€, and to taste this dish, a music group that made our eardrums bleed because it was so wrong... Never again. (The waitress was very nice though).

12/02/2026: We stumbled in to try a typical pastry we saw in the window and ordered hot chocolate with cream and another flavored with orange. Everything was delicious, the service was very attentive, and the place was lovely. Highly recommended.

22/02/2026: The restaurant was fairly clean, and the staff were friendly. However, the meal was disappointing: the raclette was mediocre, the tartiflette tiny, and the salad consisted of two leaves, a piece of tomato, and a drizzle of white sauce. The music completely ruined our appetites; it didn't match the ambiance or the food at all. We definitely don't recommend this restaurant for couples looking for a first date. It could be very awkward. And it would be awkward for anyone else too!

18/02/2026: We came to eat after skiing. We had a wonderful culinary discovery and the food was delicious. The portions were generous and beautifully presented. The chef listened carefully to our requests; thank you to him.

17/02/2026: I'm not familiar with the hotel side of things, but I've been to their restaurant and bar several times, both during the day and in the evening. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Megève, and the menu is very appealing. The decor is lovely and cozy. 🤎 The staff is incredibly attentive, and the spa service is fantastic. Their massages are magical. A great place to stay in Megève.
