10/05/2026: Nice and cool place. The bar service is great. The layout of the room needs improvement. Similarly, the management's impulsive choices regarding bands and DJs for dancing aren't very well thought out, which can affect attendance. Evenings now cost €10 including a drink on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, putting it above the level charged by the best establishments in the area. There used to be a wide selection of food from four vendors, now reduced to two with above-average prices. The paid dance classes aren't managed by the establishment, creating a lot of confusion about payment, and the providers end up not getting paid due to non-payment from users. The management sometimes behaves aggressively and unjustifiably towards customers and vendors, which could harm the establishment's long-term development. 😱

30/08/2025: Rude waitress, eggs and steaks not cooked as requested, menu with spelling mistakes. Fortunately, the restrooms were clean.

28/08/2025: A great place to come and discover! Very good tartiflette and croziflette, nice crepes too. The service is pleasant, we will be happy to come back this winter.

20/09/2025: Great beach, with jetties you can jump off. Limited toilet facilities only in the low season.

11/09/2025: Zero, registered as a dog being accepted, but the dog cannot go swimming, because ultimately swimming is prohibited, what's the point? 😒

28/05/2026: A truly wonderful discovery in Megève. Magnificent setting, chic mountain ambiance, and refined cuisine featuring high-quality ingredients. Special mention for the attentive service and friendly atmosphere. A must-visit in the resort. I recommend it 100%!

26/05/2026: The food was fine, but the portion sizes need improvement. The salad advertised as a side dish was just half a leaf with a slice of tomato – that's ridiculous. Especially for a €23 main course, not counting the two scoops of ice cream at €8.50 each with nothing else included. A shame.

24/05/2026: The service was incredibly friendly, thank you so much. The sirloin steak was excellent; I asked for a Reblochon sauce, which wasn't on the menu, but it was simply superb. A great place, we'll be back to try other dishes.

28/05/2026: The staff were very friendly. The room was perfectly fine, clean, and quite spacious. The breakfast was varied and very good. It's a shame that despite our reservation, we couldn't use the pool because people didn't respect their reservation time. Also, the spa was closed.

01/06/2026: An exceptional experience at Le 3842 restaurant. From the moment you arrive, you feel right at home thanks to the warm and refined atmosphere. The waitress was particularly kind, attentive, and responsive throughout the meal. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and made with high-quality ingredients. The cheese platter and dessert were excellent. Special mention goes to the incredible view of the snow-capped peaks, which made the experience even more magical. A unique setting, impeccable service, and cuisine worthy of the location. A must-visit when visiting the Aiguille du Midi. We will definitely be back!

As for the cuisine, beautifully presented dishes at the bistro showcase refined cuisine that magnificently highlights seasonal produce, all served with exemplary professionalism. Whether it's the comfort of the hotel or the quality of the food, the welcome is impeccable and attentive. A must-visit address that I highly recommend for its authenticity and excellence.

20/04/2026: Since the butcher's cut was flank steak, I ordered a Mont Blanc tartare. Disappointment! There was just a tiny bit of ham on top (see photo). I also ordered a mille-feuille 🤐 Disappointed compared to last year. I no longer eat at Grands Montets; I plan half-day trips and eat in Chamonix. I lose a bit of time, but I prefer it. €45 for a bad meal. The owner's explanation: it's the end of the season 😡

08/04/2026: I really enjoyed the soup, the draft cider, and the mint chocolate ice cream! The staff is super friendly, the music is good, and the terrace is sunny. Great spot in Argentière.

10/05/2026: The sandwiches, which were very generously filled when they first took over the bakery, now only have half the bread—basically slices of toast. I've never seen anything like it! The chocolate chip rolls are very salty. The plain shortbread is tasteless. The Savoy cross, everywhere else, is a slightly flaky pastry, sprinkled with sugar, and filled with a little cream. Here, it's just undercooked brioche dough with no sugar or cream. The previous owner's croquets have lost their almond flavor and taste. The St. Genix pastry was on sale, but it was a flop. It wasn't flaky, overcooked on the outside, but actually undercooked inside. I left my wallet there, which contained several €10 bills. I'm sure of it because I paid with one of those bills. On my return the next day, I bought two cakes. I wanted to pay, but there were no more bills. Since there were several customers, I discreetly said nothing and paid for my cakes by card. I tried to contact them by phone and was immediately dismissed. Admittedly, there's still a small chance that a customer might have taken the money before reporting the wallet...
