15/08/2026: I don't recommend this restaurant; the cheese crust wasn't good. The daily special was decent. The water glasses were plastic, which is really disappointing for a restaurant with such high prices. It's a shame because the terrace is quite nice. Luckily, the service was good and friendly.

19/02/2026: We arrived with complete independence. The housekeeping in the rooms needs improvement as they are starting to show their age. The food was well-equipped, the pool was clean and well-heated, and the rooms were also well-prepared. The bed was made up before our arrival and even included an extra pillow. There were no bathrobes for the pool. We only stayed one night, but I could easily see myself staying a week.

15/02/2026: A very nice residence, well located near Annecy with a lovely view, and several swimming pools, including one open even in winter. Self check-in is available from 2 pm onwards, which we really appreciated.

20/09/2026: A wonderful discovery at La Fromagerie in Viry! We had the pleasure of discovering this restaurant as a family for my birthday, and everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, and the food. The manager, who personally oversees the service with her team, is incredibly kind, always smiling, and truly attentive. To start, we chose a generous and beautifully presented charcuterie and cheese platter. We then enjoyed a three-meat hot stone grill: the meat was of excellent quality, tender, and flavorful. It was accompanied by a very good rosé wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! And to finish with a lovely surprise, at dessert time, a small robot came to our table to wish me a happy birthday. A thoughtful touch that made the moment even more special. The restaurant also has a small grocery section with local products and a very nice selection of regional cheeses. A friendly and authentic place that I highly recommend. We had a wonderful time and we will gladly return!

21/08/2026: I went there for lunch today with my niece and we absolutely loved it. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and the service was truly pleasant, friendly, and attentive. We opted for the reblochonnade, which was absolutely delicious! 😊 We didn't even have room for dessert... I highly recommend it.

17/07/2026: New management for the past two months. The place is just as nice as before. The menu is varied, and the background music is pleasant. A place worth rediscovering.

13/07/2026: We were very happy with our evening at La Fruitière. The welcome was warm and the service professional. The steak tartare was delicious, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. The terrace is lovely and peaceful, and the large parking lot is a real plus. We'll be back! Thank you!

29/08/2026: I've been a customer of this bakery for years, but I was extremely disappointed by my last visit. I bought a breaded fish sandwich; it was cooked on the outside but completely raw on the inside. I asked for it to be reheated, explaining the problem. After the second reheating, the fish was still raw, so I asked for a refund. That a cooking error can happen in a bakery or restaurant is understandable. The real problem lies in the way the matter was handled afterward. Instead of offering a gesture of goodwill and apologizing, the man at the counter became exasperated and ended up refunding me only for the remaining portion of the sandwich. He preferred to risk receiving a bad review regarding food safety and service (which, incidentally, only concerns him) rather than make a gesture of goodwill. This is a deplorable attitude when you're talking about a health risk for customers.

15/06/2026: This restaurant was discovered thanks to our Haute-Savoie Gourmet Passport. We had a great time! A nice little menu, perfect for weekday lunch, with fresh produce and homemade dishes. Good food at a reasonable price, and quick service. Excellent!

29/09/2026: A wonderful atmosphere in an almost utopian setting! We discovered this restaurant as a couple and had a fantastic evening, enjoying generous Savoyard cuisine with elegant presentation and beautifully presented dishes. Here, the atmosphere is familial, warm, and relaxed. Leave your worries at the door and treat yourself to a delicious meal! A truly wonderful discovery that we highly recommend.

06/09/2026: An unacceptable experience and a complete lack of respect. I found an insect in my salad; it jumped right out of my plate while I was mixing it. The server's reaction was totally inappropriate: she immediately grabbed the insect from my plate with her fingers, simply threw it on the floor, and left without a word. After waiting in vain for a response, I went to see the manager to explain that this situation had completely unsettled and distressed me. I pointed out that while the presence of an insect can sometimes happen, the staff's reaction was unacceptable. The manager offered to change my dish, which I refused because the incident had completely ruined my appetite. The person responsible never apologized. My companion was also unable to enjoy their meal, which we nevertheless had to pay for in full. To top it all off, the initial welcome was impersonal and the requested carafe of water never arrived. A deplorable experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

26/08/2026: Absolutely top-notch for foodies! 😍😍 The staff is competent and friendly, with a wide selection of hot and cold drinks, a variety of flavors (hazelnut, chocolate, caramel, white chocolate 😍...), and very tempting cakes and pastries. ❤️😋😋 I highly recommend it!!!

07/03/2026: A solid lower-cost, unpretentious option with all the amenities and basic things you would need to support a great ski trip in Chamonix. The bus stops steps from the hotel taking you to all the surrounding ski resorts and downtown chamonix for transfer to the airport or the bus to Italy, Valle Blanche, etc. The staff are great and make sure you have everything you need, and are willing to keep your ski bags, boots, gear, etc stored in the boot room downstairs while you wait for your next travel plans. There is WiFi that works well from the room and from the lounge downstairs if you need to hop on work calls and get work done. I had no connection issues. Les Praz is a good location (and closer) to the resorts up the valley such as Le Flegere, Grands Montets, and Le Tour. 20 minute walk to downtown Chamonix on a lovely river-side path.
