17/12/2025: An excellent hotel with a remarkable welcome, the kind you find less and less these days. The overnight package is a great deal, with a very good restaurant. The wines are of excellent quality. A truly outstanding experience from this establishment.

17/12/2025: We spent the night at the hotel. A wonderful welcome from a lovely owner with a great sense of humor and professionalism. The hotel is very nice, the rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The food was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful. Highly recommended. Thanks again to the owner.

28/01/2026: Bad reviews are just not true. I met the manager during my visit and had a diner at the restaurant. Both the manager and staff are incredibly polite, attendant and friendly. Yes of course you pay the Megeve prices, you are in Megeve but that's to be expected. The food was incredible and the entire experience was beyond expectations. Thank you. Ignore the bad reviews, these people are just snobs who want to ruin good businesses. I am leaving a one star review because I know you clicked on lowest like me and will see this review this way. But it's actually 5 stars. Now I believe in you to give those 5 stars after your experience. Thomas, thank you for being our waiter last night, you're a wonderful kid with a bright future, enjoy that bottle buddy.

05/04/2026: Easter Sunday dinner for a family of five (including three children): we shared three courses—lasagna, burgers, and tartiflette—and there were no leftovers. Everyone also ordered dessert. The service was very warm and the restaurant very friendly.

15/03/2026: This restaurant has high prices, but the food doesn't live up to them. I ordered a tasteless burger. They offered me two cooking options, but I was offered a third: it was simply burnt. If you eat there, I recommend ordering simpler dishes like the fondue.

20/03/2026: We stayed in a very old and dusty room; it was quite noisy and it was a miserable night. I guess we were the only lucky ones.

22/02/2026: A very warm welcome, a very friendly, family atmosphere, and attentive service. The room was spacious and very clean. Very quiet. We particularly appreciated this place because they accepted our little Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and a special mention to the young woman who cleaned the rooms and took the time each day to pet her. Excellent, homemade food. A successful stay. Thank you.

15/03/2026: Very pleasant restaurants at the foot of the slopes.

09/03/2026: We arrived for lunch. We had to go find someone because no one was attending to the arriving customers. A table had just become available, but we were refused it because we didn't have a reservation. As we were leaving, other people arrived without a reservation and were given the table. Brilliant. Your behavior amounts to refusing to sell. Don't come complaining at the end of the season!

29/06/2025: The beef steaks with chanterelle sauce were very good. In addition, the view of Lake Geneva and the fresh air made the heatwave very bearable.

22/06/2025: After a short hike, this is the perfect place to stop. The food is excellent, with specialties like the nettle tart and the homemade ice cream. The view of the lake is splendid! The service was a bit slow, even though there weren't many people in the restaurant.

30/01/2026: A tip for restaurant owners: keep your schedule up to date and don't brush people off on the phone 🤦🏻‍♂️, especially when they're calling to order a table. A star to encourage you.

30/01/2026: To book, yes, that's perfectly possible. For 4 people, including 2 children. At that point, the manager's face hardened, and she said in an unfriendly tone, no, that's not possible. As long as you don't have children with you, it might be okay... No Kids, like at the SNCF (French National Railways)?

25/03/2026: Everything we ordered was very good, especially the beef tataki and the steak with Café de Paris sauce. Friendly service.

21/02/2026: We came by chance, without high expectations, and yet we were very pleasantly surprised. A limited menu but quality ingredients, tasty home-style cooking, and quick, friendly service. We highly recommend it!

29/03/2026: Hello, I strongly advise against going there. I struggle to understand the 4.3 rating on Google. Poor value for money. The atmosphere is okay, but you can tell the restaurant is under-worked. The servers are constantly complaining. It's a shame to have such a beautiful place and such an attitude.

22/02/2026: We stopped by Le Privilege every night we were in Chamonix. Amazing food, burger and frog legs (!) were fantastic and I had the best Old Fashioned I had on the trip, not to mention the other specialty drinks that rocked. Live entertainment at happy hour created a great atmosphere. Our group was 10 Americans from 16 to 55 and we all loved Le Privilege. 10/10 would recommend.

04/01/2026: The atmosphere is cozy quaint lovely alps style, service is excellent, food and drinks delicious, awesome music, and will be back again, and again. Highly recommend, even as an ambivert I totally felt “at home” here!

24/04/2026: We visited during the off-season, so there were far fewer services available. But overall, we were very satisfied. The person we met at breakfast was very friendly and smiling. The room was nice. The spa was a nice bonus.

04/04/2026: Had an absolute fab time here with a couple of my mates. All staff were amazing and very attentive. Would recommend and will be returning next year. 👏🏼👏🏼
