24/08/2026: This is no longer the same establishment; the website is misleading! Unfortunately, this establishment has become a hangout for a small group of men whose words and behavior paint a particularly unpleasant picture of the place: sexist, homophobic, and racist remarks, mockery of passersby, especially cyclists. The atmosphere is oppressive and caricatured, a far cry from the friendly establishment I once knew. The couple who run it have had to give up in the face of this crowd!

16/08/2026: A lovely time at Le Saint Nicolas: the Sharing Menu (see photo) featured perfect Arctic char and turbot, meltingly tender lamb shoulder with accompanying polenta squares (see photo), and a Vin Jaune sauce. A success. The cheeses were of high quality. Dessert was a bit disappointing (the meringue was rather bland), although the fruit coulis was a welcome touch at the end of the meal. A chocolate petit four would have been a nice way to finish. The portions were well-proportioned. The service was impeccable. The open kitchen allowed us to watch the chef at work. A pleasant touch. We will return.

14/08/2026: What a delightful surprise! We chose the "Sharing" menu for our table. The cuisine was refined, aromatic, and generous. From the black garlic butter (so tempting you had to resist eating it all!) to the blueberry floating island (a marvel of lightness), and the succulent turbot, among other dishes, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The service was friendly and efficient, the presentation was beautiful—everything was perfect!

14/07/2026: Great ice cream with lots of choice of flavours. I went for the Oreo ice cream and it was delicious.

10/07/2026: A great find, much cheaper and a bit secluded, which is a nice change of pace. We had ice cream cones and crepes; the prices were reasonable and very good.

26/08/2026: A restaurant I highly recommend. All the dishes are homemade, really delicious, and inexpensive. Very welcoming service. Dogs are welcome.

19/08/2026: A charming little restaurant with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The food is authentic, just like home cooking, and the dishes are prepared with care. The staff is particularly welcoming and attentive to their customers. I highly recommend it!

10/09/2026: Excellent home-style cooking; the €19 set menu is truly delicious from start to finish. Generous portions. Unbeatable value for money in the area. Very friendly atmosphere, smiling and quick service. The interior decor is superb.

31/05/2026: They refuse service to single people. The waitress very skillfully brushes me off, telling me the restaurant is full; it must be noon, there's only a family of four having drinks on the empty terrace. I naively insist, explaining that a small table in a corner inside doesn't bother me; I'm just passing through on a motorcycle ride. The waitress calls the owner, who refuses me a second time. Not a single customer has walked through the door since.

16/03/2026: A nice spot to take a break between runs. The food is good, the terrace is often sunny, the service is quite friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

21/09/2026: We live just across the road and recently went for dinner (out of season and the only people entering the restaurant) when we placed our order, despite ordering 6 adult meals we were told our kids couldn’t share a pizza and we would have to pay €8 fee if they wanted to share so instead I asked if we could order a plate of fries which is €8 and the waitress said no that’s not a meal so you’d still have to pay the €8 fee for not having a main for every person. My youngest is 5….this made no sense on a quiet night out of season. When I questioned it the lady was really rude and then suddenly went from speaking good English to telling me she doesn’t speak English and if we didn’t like it we could leave!? So we left…luckily the bistro next door serves amazing food and has the most wonderful staff (we eat there regularly but we just fancied pizzas!) there loss! We won’t go back again…spend your money where it’s valued and appreciated. I can’t understand the mentality of this place or the rudeness!!

28/05/2026: Disappointed. I ordered the chicken bobun: the dish didn't have much flavor, the spring roll was hard to chew, and there was a bit of a skimpy meat portion. A shame because it looked promising. The only positive point was the fast service.

20/04/2026: My boyfriend introduced me to this little restaurant (takeaway only at lunchtime) for our lunch break. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had the gourmet rice with sweet chili sauce, and it was delicious! However, I recommend that people who can't handle spicy food decline when they ask if they want the sauce. It's a fantastic place that I regret only discovering now 😁

22/03/2026: Very happy with this restaurant. The Savoyard fondue is amazing! The portions are generous. The service is quick and the staff is very attentive. The waitresses are cheerful and excellent. We just would have appreciated it if the salad had been included with the fondue... Thank you for this meal.

01/09/2026: A delightful spot for a sweet or savory treat. Delicate pastries, delicious chocolates (especially the 4810s!), tasty sandwiches and savory snacks… I came several times during the summer and the staff is always very friendly and efficient, no matter how busy it is. Highly recommended!

11/09/2026: Excellent private restaurant and hotel located in the mountains. A beautiful view awaits you when you get here at sunset. There are special off menu items for guests staying at the hotel. The main menu is a well curated collection of wine and french staples.

30/08/2026: Surprise Brunch for Two A wonderful discovery: this brunch with a barbecue and spa. The food was high quality, and the portions were generous. The service was excellent, and the servers were very attentive. The view was magnificent, and the atmosphere was very peaceful. The pool, jacuzzi, and hammam were very nice. We had a superb time together. Next time, we'll try the restaurant and the massages. I highly recommend this place.
