03/04/2026: Excellent homemade food at a great price, and the service was very friendly and efficient; so much so that we went back two days later. A good variety of dishes, and I must give special mention to the 'garbure', a delicious local specialty.

11/04/2026: What a beautiful place, what excellent food, and what a warm welcome! We booked a family night here during our impromptu trip to the Basque Country. It was perfect: the location, the view, the peace and quiet, the warmth and kindness of the staff and the owner, the meals and delicious homemade products, the facilities, etc. In short, it was perfect. The children are begging to come back, so we will, without a doubt! :) Don't hesitate, you can book with your eyes closed!

The room was inviting and charming. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our dog was pampered. Highly recommended. We will be back.

15/12/2025: Full little restaurant bar situated at the train station where you can watch the trains wooshhhh by as you are eating a delicious locally sourced meal or an expertly prepared cocktail. A fun experience to take in while visiting Guethary!

03/04/2026: An excellent restaurant that seemed to be full every day of the week. The food was all fresh and prepared very well. The portion sizes are generous. The service was attentive, helpful but not slow or intrusive. I would recommend this for groups, couples or families alike. The wine list is just right. Overalls it feels like good quality for a fair price and a restaurant I would like to visit again.
03/04/2026: Busy, no reservation restaurant, 100% must go in Pau, we went for dinner and it was so good that we went again for lunch before leaving, the Guillonnette and Binoche are spectacular and the Dish if the day with the dessert is really worth it. 100% we will repeat each time we go to Pau or pass through.

The cuisine is worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Simple dishes, prepared with great finesse and freshness. Very good value for money. We will be back.

28/03/2026: A great restaurant for a delicious burger. Made with great care and local ingredients. The beef was locally sourced, cooked to perfection—pink and flavorful. The fries and sides were also excellent. For dessert, we ordered a homemade Tatin tart, which was spectacular. Very reasonable prices. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

Whenever we're in Sauveterre-de-Béarn, we eat there.
The waitress is the best.
The bartender is very friendly.
Last time, he even gave us free coffee.
