25/08/2026: A family Sunday lunch... L'auberge's main advantage is that it is open for Sunday lunch. There was some culinary effort (especially with the starters), but the result didn't quite live up to expectations. The waitress, apparently at odds with management, saw fit to air her grievances to the customers. All in all, a bit disappointing.

21/09/2026: Food was delicious and service was great. Very reasonably priced. Fab spot and would highly recommend. Also made our dogs welcome, which is always a plus.

17/09/2026: Superb location facing the ocean, but a shame the menu is poor, not enough choice. The baby squid was too fatty and the hake was served lukewarm without any sides. The service was very, very average!

02/10/2026: Excellent restaurant and cuisine. The chef and his team are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. Everything is perfect, and I highly recommend this restaurant. I've been coming to this restaurant for the past two years whenever I'm in the Basque Country, and of course, I'll be back on my next trip. It's fantastic!

23/09/2026: The service was terrible. We asked for more water but it never arrived; we mentioned twice that we were waiting for dessert, and the waiter said he’d bring it, yet we waited about 20 minutes with absolutely no sign of anyone coming our way. None of the servers even glanced in our direction. We didn't wait for the dessert. When paying, we mentioned that the service hadn't been up to par; the "lovely" waiter simply shrugged and said we didn't have a reservation. I have to ask: why did they tell us we could sit down if they didn't want to serve us? I imagine the service is fine for locals, but they don't seem to care much for foreigners here—and that was certainly palpable.

01/09/2026: We had a wonderful lunch at Le Belzunce today. Very friendly and attentive service. We ordered one Moules Frites and one Salade Chipirónes, and shared Île Flottante for dessert. Delicious food, fair prices. Highly recommended!

Special mention to the waitresses: their smiles, kindness, and attentiveness add that touch of sweetness that elevates everything else, like a dusting of powdered sugar on an already wonderful dessert. 10/09/2026: What a fantastic place! We visited this restaurant last week and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and every dish was a real surprise, with unique and special flavours. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of taste. Definitely one of the best restaurants we visited on the French side of the Basque Country. We will certainly come back in the future! Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

08/09/2026: Excellent meal! We opted for à la carte dishes which were absolutely delicious. To start, an excellent sea bass crudo and smoked sardines – "simple" but elevated by the Chef. Then, a perfect Kintoa pig and an excellent monkfish. To finish, a fantastic cheese platter. The welcome and service were very friendly and efficient, with detailed explanations of each dish. We had a few words with the Chef to thank him and his team. Highly recommended. Dinner Saturday, September 5th. Thank you.

04/10/2026: Wonderful experience. Walked by last night (Saturday) and it was absolutely packed! Came back tonight on a Sunday and much more chill Of a vibe, last night seemed amazing we didn’t try to get in by the way. Had some snack. Gildas, foie toast and bikini sandwich. Bikini was so good we got a second one (with extra peppers), I like the French style, cheese and ham has a bit more flavor to it. Great service, kind and warm. Highly recommend! Max was the best!!!

27/09/2026: The restaurant is on a quiet street; we ate on the terrace, which was fine. The food wasn't particularly impressive, though. There are nearby restaurants with better and more affordable options. They also didn't offer us water.

05/06/2026: We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Villa Bleue. From the moment we arrived, we were touched by the kindness, helpfulness, and attentiveness of the entire team. Thomas and his family welcomed us with great warmth and simplicity, immediately creating a friendly, welcoming, and authentic atmosphere. The breakfasts are generous, delicious, and unlimited—a real treat to start the day. The ham and cheese are excellent, a nice bonus as they are local products. As for the other meals, whether we opted for half-board or à la carte, every meal was a delight: varied, flavorful dishes, prepared with care. A big thank you to Manon and her entire team who treated us so well throughout our stay! We were traveling with our Golden Retriever, who also received exceptional care. She was pampered and treated like a true princess, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Beyond the quality of the service and the excellent welcome, Villa Bleue is a place where you make wonderful connections and truly feel at home. An address we will treasure and return to with great pleasure!
