26/05/2026: Amazing spot, but what a shame the bartenders are so unfriendly and inattentive to customers. I waited 10 minutes even though there were three servers behind the bar, two of whom were changing a beer keg. Not a word or a word for the people waiting. It ruins everything! I gave the spot three stars.

20/01/2026: An absolute top recommendation! Superb hospitality and outstanding, personalized service in all areas. Modern Basque ambiance. Quiet location on the edge of the picturesque village, with numerous impressive hikes accessible both directly from the hotel and within easy driving distance. The Atlantic coast (St.-Jean-de-Luz!) is also reachable in about 30-40 minutes. Large pool. Excellent cuisine (vegetarian menus with fish instead of meat are available; purely vegetarian or vegan options are difficult).

27/05/2026: We stayed for four days at the Hotel Pecoitz with five biker friends to explore the French and Spanish Basque Country. If you have any doubts about Basque hospitality, come to Pecoitz and you'll leave wanting to come back again and again! The hotel, the welcome, the rooms, the meals, the pétanque court, the swimming pool—everything is fantastic!!! They even have a secure garage to keep the motorcycles safe! Thank you, Battitte, and thank you to your mother for these wonderful moments and genuine camaraderie! Pilou.

13/06/2026: A pet-friendly hotel located in the heart of Cambo-les-Bains. Clean and comfortable rooms, with a very pleasant café/brasserie with a terrace on the ground floor. The management and staff are very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

17/05/2026: How can I put it… A typical biker hotel/rest stop in the region, full of charm and authenticity. The welcome is warm and friendly. The food is breathtaking: excellent, generous, and very hearty dishes. A truly wonderful place that I recommend without hesitation!

11/03/2026: I loved this hotel; it's a beautiful, very old building. The decor is rustic in the bar and dining room (and I mean that as a compliment!). There's a grand, majestic staircase leading to the rooms (there's also an elevator). In the rooms: large antique doors, large windows, etc... You feel transported back in time. We were lucky enough to get a room with a bathtub, which was incredibly pleasant after a day of skiing. It's also lovely to have an aperitif or tea in the hotel bar, or to enjoy a meal in the restaurant in the evening, which serves local dishes; the menu is very generous. The breakfast is very generous for the price; there's a wide variety of options. I highly recommend this hotel, which I think offers excellent value for money. The owners are very friendly. We will definitely be back.
