29/09/2024: Hello! The Trekking Pawns here! Wondered around looking for food and what ultimately stopped us here was the smell. We looked at the menu and decided to give it a try. We couldn’t decide what we wanted and saw a sign for a set menu. So we gave that a try. We kept seeing people get the mussels and so we tried that and it was fantastic! The rest of the food was mediocre though. The Bouillabaisee smelled nice but didn’t taste as nice. I’ve always wanted to try it, but did expect more flavor. The table bread came with no butter or olive oil, just mediocre bread. The salmon was cooked well, but didn’t have as much flavor as we’ve had before. The crème brûlée for dessert was lovely but the tiramisu seemed just put together and then lady fingers not soaked in coffee, just a cake in creme with cocoa on top. The setting in the street was nice, but a bit chilly as the sun went away. No heaters provided at this time of year.

26/09/2024: Deception and disappointment. Waiters are young and unprofessional. They gave only one piece of butter and piece of lemon to a portion of oysters, it's a shame and stinginess. Brought an already opened bottle of water to our table, as they often serve free water in many restaurants in Nice, but then included it in the bill for €5.50!!! The ashtray was brought when we were about to leave. It seemed that all employees, together with the owner, were tired of guests and work, although there were no guests in the restaurant, we did not feel friendly from them, none of them even smiled during the dinner. Good luck, draw your own conclusions, I described my true impressions. There are many other restaurants in Nice with good food and excellent waiters, where I leave a tip with pleasure

12/09/2024: Nous sommes venus, ma compagne et moi découvrir ce restaurant impossible de manquer quand on arrive sur Mondeville. Intérieur chaleureux avec ses serveurs et serveurs très aimables, on est vraiment plongé dans le thème de la mer mais je vous rassure pour ceux qui n'aiment pas le poisson, trouverez également de quoi vous remplir l'estomac. Pour ce qui est du tarif c'est correct. Après pour ce qui est de la nourriture, personnellement nous nous sommes régalés et par la même occasion nous avons bien rigolé. Ça mérite de venir y faire un tour surtout que visiblement il n'y a pas beaucoup de monde le midi.

01/09/2024: Paella beaucoup trop pimenté, frites réchauffées, hamburger pas terrible. Trop cher pour ce que c'est. A fuir de toute urgence.

31/08/2024: This last Thursday, More than 1 hour 45 minutes of waiting to get the dishes. The owner explains to us that following the fire in the neighboring restaurant she did not expect so many people... Despite the children's menus and the coffees offered, I'm sorry, I won't go back there again. You knew this since the accident next door the day before, so it's up to you to review your organization to receive more cutlery than the abnormal one, or if there was not the possibility of blocking up to a certain number of cutlery. You preferred to receive the whole world, provide mediocre service and a bad image of your restaurant. It’s a shame because the dishes are good.

01/10/2024: We only went to the restaurant. It's clearly a tourist trap. 20th the Burger, the fish without flavor, the children's formula, not great but we could have actually asked for more details, its fish fillet bathed in sauce (having tasted it, I didn't even want it). Unpleasant welcome. Go your way, walk a little more and you will find other restaurants that are friendlier and better located.

18/01/2025: The food is good and cheap. However, you shouldn't expect too much. Pre-cooked mussels with the desired sauce added afterwards. The fries, on the other hand, are really tasty. Service is attentive and friendly. The prices are moderate.

23/08/2024: Prenotato in questo posto dall'ottima vista a Bastia per pranzo. Camerieri gentili e disponibili. Ovviamente non bisogna fare i classici Italiani all'estero che ricercano la cucina di casa. I taglieri di antipasti corsi erano ottimi. Il pesce freschissimo e ben cucinato. Il conto direi giusto per cosa abbiamo mangiato e preso. Assolutamente consigliato

30/04/2024: My companion was served by two salespeople who were a little lost; The shrimp was pretty good and seemed fresh; the octopus salad clearly not fresh, although the taste was good. On the other hand, at a scaler, we expect freshness. Selling mayonnaise whose shelf life has already passed by several days is ugly. I will therefore not try oysters and other products that require great freshness, and I advise you not to buy them from them.

29/08/2024: Super cozy place, especially upstairs with the animal skins, the benches, and all that mountain chalet atmosphere. We go there for sushi, nothing to say, it’s fresh, it’s homemade. A must for taking a break from cheese!

03/09/2024: Nous sommes allés dans cet établissement pour passer une soirée face à la mer. Après s'être installés seuls car personne n'est venu nous accueillir, nous avons attendu 20 minutes avant de voir le patron se décider à prendre notre commande alors qu'il n'y avait que très peu de monde, puis encore 15 mn pour nous servir 2 cocktails. Grosse déception à la vue de ces cocktails : un conseil si vous en prenez un demandez à ce que les glaçons soient servis à part, vous aurez peut-être la chance d'avoir un vrai cocktail pour 14 € ! A la vue de cette arnaque, nous avons décidé de dîner ailleurs.

03/09/2024: We went to this establishment to spend an evening facing the sea. After settling in alone because no one came to welcome us, we waited 20 minutes before seeing the owner decide to take our order while he There were very few people, then another 15 minutes to serve us 2 cocktails. Big disappointment at the sight of these cocktails: a tip if you take one, ask for the ice cubes to be served separately, you might be lucky enough to have a real cocktail for €14! Seeing this scam, we decided to dine elsewhere.

15/09/2024: Stayed in the village in a gite with family. This place became our “local”. Visited near daily, whether for a quick coffee after the morning trip to boulangerie for our croissants to take home, an afternoon drink on the terrace, or a fabulous, simple homecooked meal, where the chef Nathalie catered to our every whim. Most welcoming owner/chef to our family of six! Enjoyed Charcuterie, Steaks (cooked perfectly to our liking), beef in red wine, fried camembert, and local wine, Pineau and Seve 😍 Thank you and we cant wait to ever visit that part of france again so we can come to you again!
