At first glance, the kitchens were very clean and the kebab I ordered was delicious. There are several kebabs in Rochefort, but this is the one I recommend

04/12/2024: The best place in Nice to have authentic brasserie-style french food !
One of the only places where you can late lunch or dine early as they are continuously open from 11am to 12pm.
Food is always freshly cooked and excellent, also there is a daily changing
« Plat du jour »featuring all kinds of all-time-favourites like Aïoli or Raviolis niçoise style.
We are always happy to drop by as it is located at the crossways, close to the Opera house, the market and the beaches.
Very dedicated service too, we will be delighted to come back soon !
22/11/2024: Very nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, the daily dish “Morue à l’Aïoli” was very tasty and delicious.

05/09/2024: For 38 years, on every trip to Brittany, we have stopped at this restaurant whose husband works in the kitchen and has always given us great satisfaction. Room service is provided by his wife, occasionally assisted by an employee.
We have always been very satisfied with both the quality of the meals and the service.

Deplorable value for money. Industrial style service without passion. It's a real trap. As proof, flavorless scallops which look more like scallops, fish and chips served in very small quantities but well priced, stale kouign amann like very dry puff pastry served with an industrial caramel sauce!!!!!
Never seen before!!!
It is shameful for our beautiful Breton region to trap tourists in this way.
And I'm not talking about the welcome!
Doesn't even deserve a star
In short, to flee!!!

21/09/2024: All you can eat menu at 13.90 for lunch, it was good but not too much choice in my opinion compared to others. For this park it's complicated though.
18/09/2024: An original concept: Charging before you even use it is unacceptable!
Otherwise we go to the cafeteria...and even there we help ourselves before paying the bill.
It wasn't the first time we came...but it's the last.
No regrets.

15/12/2024: Hearty! Location on the quayside and heated and pleasant interior. The dishes, bull gardianne and mussels and fries were fresh and good and even the children's menu at €10 was plentiful. Afterwards we were out of season and very few people, to see in high season.
14/12/2024: Great dishes, very reasonable prices. Exceptionally friendly staff. I highly recommend.

23/09/2024: Pas ouvert à l'heure. Serveur/gérant sale, je n'avais jamais vu un serveur avec littéralement du sang sur la main. C'est un self service et donc cher pour cette absence de service. Question hygiène, ça laisse à désirer. Je n'y retournerai plus.
20/09/2024: Nous avons l'habitude de venir chaque année. Nouveauté il faut commander au comptoir, chercher sa commande et débarrasser. Les tarifs sont élevés mais rapport à la vue je pense. 6 euros un cappuccino par exemple 😱 un peu déçu par l'accueil. Ce café n' est plus ce qu'il était.. .

15/09/2024: Too bad that in September we can't eat pancakes without disturbing the staff 😱😱 no reception and waiting without someone coming to take your order and a little thought for the waiter from the kitchen not before 20 minutes for the people so after reflection you leave.......without eating crepe it shows that they no longer need money the tourists have passed 😱😱
14/09/2024: 5 cocktails €65 with no effort and no resemblance to the photos on the menu, can we call that theft? I believe so.

06/04/2024: Tried to rip me off with extra fees for the terrasse that are mentionned no where. Tried to take my table away, shamelessly because they needed it for a group of 4. Worst experience in recent days of service... Most horrible young lady behind the counter. Well the whole staff has mafia like manners... Ok, the location is great, the bakery is cute... But the manners of the people working there just take away the whole charm and made me regret to even stop there.
06/04/2024: Very well located bakery, unfortunately very expensive given the quality. Prices for eating on site are not displayed, which can be surprising once the price is announced at the checkout. We paid €3 more to eat there without a carafe. When we asked if we could have one like the people at the next table, the waitress told us that was not possible and that we would have to buy a bottle of water. She also used the expression “we do take away on site” which still seems very paradoxical. Disappointing experience. And there’s no salt in pizzas and quiches

27/10/2023: For several years I have been going there at least once a season, I preferred the former owners commercially speaking., on the kitchen side, already the service is mega long, the time to settle down and take the order on average 30 minutes... So it's really passable, when we finally deign to take care of ourselves, the service remains long, on average 15 minutes to get drinks, so basically 45 minutes to wait for nothing... The mussels are good (fortunately ), we were never sick, but poorly prepared, since the mussels do not cook in the sauce, a serious mistake in our opinion... Fortunately it remains affordable.
But every year it doesn't get better in fact, it's always a "friends first" atmosphere at Penon... And I've been spending my holidays there for over 35 years, I grew up at the penon... And I still can't stand these "anti-tourist house is happy that they fill our pockets" atmosphere

21/08/2024: Unpleasant, shameful staff, they told them that the service was complicated, the manager's response was that they should not come to the restaurant, it was a very good response.
13/08/2024: We have been frequenting this place for several generations now and the setting is still as pleasant as ever. You have to know how to wait a little bit and not be in a hurry, so much the better, it's the holidays and we've put the watch away. The trout is always just as good, the side dishes are generous and excellent, the homemade desserts, and the family and friendly atmosphere.
To do at all costs to have a good time!
