Recommended in the area around the nearby arenas.
22/07/2024: Stumbled upon Le Resto early evening looking for something to eat before the overnight train to Paris. Were lucky that a concert in the Arena meant they were open as it appears to be a lunch only establishment. It is obviously family run which fresh quality and ingredients & it is off the main square beside the Arena. I am not sure why Tripadvisor does not promote this place as we found it through Google restaurants nearby.

Found on the internet leaving the Trabuc caves and wanting to reach the bamboo grove, while we could only arrive late for lunch, they agreed to wait for us and we feasted on lamb chops and duck breast cooked over a fire. drink.
Hearty plate, very friendly service... if I come back to the area I already know where I will go to eat

25/09/2024: I have had the pleasure of going to lunch at “H de Sernhac” several times now and I am never disappointed. From starter to dessert the cuisine is delicious, homemade with a focus on local products. We had a great time (as usual). The welcome is warm and in a good mood.

24/09/2024: Coming as a group for several months, I am extremely happy with it. The dishes are just delicious and the joy of life of the waitress is very pleasant as well as the cooks who make their dishes with love.
I highly recommend and will return with great pleasure.

A beautiful simple refined cuisine with good tasty products...and this strawberry melba....hum!!!! the very kind staff, impeccable service, a cozy atmosphere in the evening under an umbrella of trees....and all this in the immediate vicinity of the Vis waterfall...avoiding this place is a professional mistake and can feed you of eternal regrets. Thank you for this exceptional moment that you made us experience....it's quite rare these days....

Being from Paris and having had the experience of eating in several pizzerias, even the so-called best ones,
I can confirm that those from Il Gusto are the best and tastiest I have tasted.
A talented person from Italy who makes pizzas from another world,

14/09/2024: We decided at 6:30 p.m. to make ourselves a seafood platter to take away, we arrived at 7 p.m. at the Huytrerie St Jean, and in 10 minutes we had a platter for 2, with fresh produce.

25/08/2024: After passing the very classic storefront, a pleasant surprise is revealed. A very elegant room, with its share of surprises for collectors!
Like its name, the menu remains basic, offering only two choices each time on the menu. But what discoveries and taste riches! A pleasure that continues right through to the homemade desserts.
We will nevertheless criticize a classic welcome which quickly allows itself to be overwhelmed.
