28/08/2026: The food was excellent, but I have one complaint about the €68 set menu, which listed sirloin steak from Laubrac but contained barely 100g of meat – that's outrageous. Furthermore, the chef is very touchy and doesn't take criticism well, which is a shame because the food is good.

14/08/2026: A lunch offering excellent value for money. A lot of effort went into the food. The dishes were beautifully presented and expertly executed. The dessert was a real highlight: a clove ice cream that was a true explosion of flavor.

22/08/2026: Everything was absolutely perfect at L’Amphitryon, from the aperitif to the dessert! The quality of the food was exceptional, with cuisine that truly borders on haute cuisine. And what's particularly remarkable is that, unlike some fine-dining restaurants where the portions are sometimes quite small, here the quality is undeniable without sacrificing generosity. The dishes are flavorful, refined, and truly substantial. All this at an incredible price, which is definitely worth highlighting. And to top it all off, a special mention goes to the owner for his kindness and attentiveness to his customers. He truly goes the extra mile and greatly contributes to making the experience even more enjoyable. A truly wonderful restaurant in Pézenas, which we recommend without hesitation. We will gladly return.

19/08/2026: A fantastic spot in Castelnau-le-Lez where I often go with my colleagues. Le Comptoir du Pioch never disappoints! On our last visit, we shared a delicious, perfectly cooked asparagus risotto and incredibly tender braised pork cheek, served with flavorful gnocchi. We finished off this wonderful meal with excellent coffees. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the fresh, prepared food. The service is efficient, ideal for a lunch break. In short, it's delicious, I highly recommend it!

09/09/2026: We came for lunch on Friday and L'Asparagus was packed! Tables of two or four, and alongside them, a table of 16 people, initially worried me, but my doubts were quickly dispelled. The service was incredibly efficient, from the aperitif to the coffee, everything was perfect! We started by sharing scampi as a starter, with Japanese breadcrumbs, incredibly light and tender. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the red mullet fillet tempura, small but flavorful. As for me, I had a burger like I've rarely had! Cooked to perfection, wonderfully juicy, with a very generous portion of fries. We finished with a proper chocolate mousse. Go there, you really won't be disappointed!

06/09/2026: Very good restaurant, friendly staff. It was our first time here, on a friend's recommendation. I had a very good eggplant, tomato, and anchovy tartlet, a very good cuttlefish stew with black olives, melt-in-your-mouth cuttlefish, stuffed squid, and dessert. We will gladly return.

19/07/2026: I never leave reviews, but this time I had to. I've been going to this bar since it opened because the cocktails are excellent. After a year without going, I decided to return. We waited over 30 minutes before telling the waitress it would be nice to take our order. Then we waited another 20 minutes before being served. The cocktails arrived, the presentation was lacking, and the cocktails themselves were beyond bad. I think even I could make better, and I'm not a professional. When I asked if the staff had changed, they replied, "Yes, why?" I explained that the cocktails weren't good (they were non-alcoholic). I emphasized this because there's nothing complicated about making a non-alcoholic cocktail. The person who made the cocktails didn't even admit that they were the ones who made them and that they weren't good. Paying quite a lot for something that was basically just Pulco is a shame. I think the training of servers and bartenders needs to be reviewed, especially in cocktail bars. After 5-6 years at Nectar, I can tell you I'll never go back for a drink because, unfortunately, the current staff is incompetent.
