27/06/2026: This was our first (and certainly not our last) visit to Lo Cagarol. The ambiance and decor perfectly suited our taste. We felt very comfortable. The menu (burrata, bar, or roast pork and cheese) was exquisite and prepared with finesse. Perhaps offering two different, smaller cheeses for dessert would be a nice touch.

04/07/2026: On our trip through southern France we have been to a few "brew pubs/bars". This bar has bu far the best craft beers. On top of that the food is home cooked and very delicious.

25/07/2026: Huge disappointment. We're not tourists, so we won't be back, which is a real shame. The setting is indeed pretty, but we waited 10 minutes for a menu, then for water, and finally 20 minutes in total. Remember, it's hot, so it's really not pleasant. The real problem is paying €23.50 for a dish that's the size of a starter! It took us 4 minutes to eat the contents of the plate—barely two tablespoons of rice at the bottom of the dish—and frankly, it wasn't good, just average. Given that the waiters weren't as friendly as the reviews here on Google suggest, I suppose we were just unlucky! It was a very expensive bill, and we were still hungry when we left. Given the price of the meal, we stopped there, and for the first time in our lives, we went to McDonald's after leaving the restaurant. I'd never done that before, and I hope I never have an experience like that again. I'm really disgusted to have paid so much for such a terrible experience.

05/07/2026: Excellent seafood restaurant High-quality products Impeccable service: white tablecloths, white plates, stainless steel cutlery The oysters on the tasting menu are served on a platter of ice with vinegar, three slices of wholemeal bread per person, a small pat of butter, and a glass of white wine for €14.50. The price is very reasonable considering the quality of the experience. Highly recommended.

06/07/2026: Gyraya restaurant was a great find. The ingredients are fresh and high quality, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The only slight drawback is the size of the pita, which is a bit small for those with a bigger appetite. I recommend it.

06/07/2026: We visited Gyraya for gyros. The service was fast and friendly, and automated ordering machines were available. The atmosphere was OK for fast food, tables were clean and tidy. However, the food was not what we expected and was quite different from traditional Greek gyros. The pita bread was acceptable, but it had only been warmed on an electric panini grill. In a proper gyro, the pita is usually brushed with oil and grilled, or cooked over charcoal for a lighter option without oil. In Greece, gyro meat is typically seasoned pork or chicken cooked in thin slices on a vertical rotisserie, resulting in meat that is crisp on the outside and tender inside. Gyraya’s gyro was more like pulled beef than traditional gyro meat. It was mushy and did not taste like authentic gyros, so I did not enjoy it. The chicken was similar: it did not resemble gyro, and the marinade felt unrelated to Greek or even Turkish recipes. We were not impressed with its taste either. We later had excellent, more authentic gyros at a Turkish place nearby. If Gyraya described its food simply as wraps, we would have had no complaints. However, if they advertise gyros, they should serve something much closer to the traditional recipe.

02/03/2026: The burgers are truly excellent: soft buns, perfectly cooked and juicy meat, and fresh, well-balanced toppings. You can clearly tell the ingredients are high quality; it's a welcome change from the "classic" burgers you find elsewhere. The fries are just as good: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. We arrived almost at opening time in the evening, with a reservation, and everything was ready. The service was quick and efficient. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The server was fantastic: welcoming, smiling, and attentive without being intrusive. That makes all the difference. Price-wise, it's not your average fast-food joint, but honestly, the quality is there. The value for money is reasonable, and it's well worth it for a great time and a delicious meal. I highly recommend it, whether with friends or family 👌
