09/07/2026: The staff were very unpleasant, except for the young man at the till. We asked for the remaining sandwich to take away, and the woman made no effort to change the order; she even sighed.
09/07/2026: Pathetic! We arrived at 2 PM, and the employees were cleaning while the wait for orders dragged on... everything was put away, and no one was taking care of the customers! At 2:10 PM, the staff finally started taking orders again!
When is it normal to stop taking orders and serving customers to clean, right in the middle of service??? It's unheard of!! Many customers turned around and left because they were fed up with waiting for the cleaning to finish before being served!!!

18/01/2026: The arrival was a little disorienting at first, with no one there to greet us. However, a phone number allowed us to get directions quickly. There was a minor electrical issue upon arrival, which was resolved thanks to the very kind help of the neighbors.
An unusual but ultimately quite amusing arrival, mainly due to everyone's friendliness. Breakfast is served in the bistro across the street and is excellent, with truly delicious croissants.

27/06/2026: Great stay with the children, the room needs a bit of an update especially the bathroom decor to make it feel a bit more special. Needs to have something on the menu for children if promoting it as a child friendly hotel and to provide something before 19:00 (so we can put them down early and come and eat without them!)
05/06/2026: Wonderful hotel. Very attentive staff. Incredibly peaceful.

24/09/2024: 3 days with the family in a calm and superb place. Top restaurant and “the most” SPA.
23/09/2024: Sumptuous setting and above all very friendly staff who took great care of us. A romantic weekend which was enhanced by this “too” short stay.
The SPA remains a very interesting element and we were able to take full advantage of it.

06/09/2024: The food was excellent, a small but interesting menu in a great setting on the old part if Tours. The staff were attentive and helpful - and our dog was also made very welcome
04/09/2024: Fantastiskt god mat, köttet vi beställde var precis som vi önskade medium rear, perfekt rosa. Portionerna var lagom stora och allt var mycket vackert upplagt. Väldigt gott vin, trevlig personal.

01/12/2024: Les incontournables friandises d’Amboise pour se faire plaisir entre 2 visites : à emporter ou sur place, tout est bon! Le chocolat chaud maison à l’orange, une tuerie! Les oursons en guimauve, les tartelettes, goûtez-tout!

Serveurs souriants, certes, mais pour la patronne, faudra repasser.
30 mn d attente pour se voir servir une quiche à rechauffer et une assiette de fromages. Achat du caramel beurre salé au comptoir. Insipide. Sans saveur
Repassés plus tard car les enfants voulaient une glace. J'avais envie d en manger une mais...pour les adultes....pas de cornet possible !!!! Allez savoir pourquoi... Ca m'a passé l'envie !

08/03/2026: Spacious room, king-size bed, and incredibly comfortable bedding. The en-suite bathroom was a lovely size, with a bathtub 🤩. Kettle, tea, and coffee were provided. The reception staff were attentive, gave clear explanations about how everything worked, and even refilled my water bottle before I left the next day. Great! I didn't try the ground-floor dining room as I ate outside, but it was nearly full, offering a set menu with a starter, main course, and dessert. A terrace (table and two chairs) was included since the room was upstairs.

03/09/2024: Une carte qui interroge sur les associations d’ingrédients… des surprises à chaque plat digne d’un étoilé !! Entre amis, nous avons plus parlé de ce que nous mangions que de parler ensemble…. cqdd !!!

01/09/2024: Exceptionnel. Le chef s'amuse à mélanger des saveurs, des textures...Salé /sucré, aérien/dense, croquant/moelleux, acidulé/doux. Les vins proposés (bios!) étaient parfaits et le personnel gentil et attentionné, à recommander sans hésitation

20/09/2024: Lovely relaxed restaurant. Short but varied menu. Everything we had was delicious. Extremely good value compared to other meals out on this trip, very pleasant staff.

30/03/2024: Very good stay. The service was very good, smiling and friendly staff. Magnificent spa for us. We were having fun. Exceptional breakfast too. Equipped room. Everything went well.
