24/09/2023: Discovery of the cuisine of this restaurant during a wedding this weekend thanks to their catering service. Everything was excellent, we had a great time and the team we dealt with was incredibly professional and kind. We are not from the area but we will stop to discover their restaurant and rediscover the flavors of their cuisine with pleasure if we pass by their place

08/12/2024: Decouverte de cette auberge dans une ambiance médiévale. Les tables sont dressées à l'ancienne et les couverts ne sont pas faciles à utiliser. Q'importe le repas était excellent. Après la découverte des créations de Léonard de Vinci nous avons eu droit au gouter de Noel car nous étions 1 groupe de 100 personnes.
30/10/2024: Excellent déjeuner dans un restaurant très agréable qui a su conserver l'originalité du lieu et qui agrémente la visite du Clos Lucé.
Des mets délicieux et originaux sont servis par un personnel très accueillant.
Je recommande vivement ce restaurant.

15/06/2024: Nous avons été très déçus par ce restaurant. Autant l’accueil est sympathique autant la cuisine est vraiment quelconque.
La viande était mal cuite nous dirions trop cuite et les légumes aussi. On avait l’impression qu’ils sortaient d’une conserve .
Le reste était à l’avenant. On nous avait dit qu’il était moins bon ce que nous confirmons. Nous n’y retournerons certainement pas et ne le recommanderons jamais.
Dommage le cadre est agréable.
09/06/2024: Restaurant surprenant au calme dans un ancien corps de ferme. Cuisine succulente, accueil chaleureux. Les plats étaient très joliment présenté et copieux.

06/07/2025: Absolutely delicious! I stumbled upon this little restaurant and asked if they could prepare two portions of lamb and chicken couscous. Ten minutes later, I left with my hot meal, including the meat, couscous, and side dishes, all neatly wrapped separately, and a radiant smile to boot. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and I recommend it 200%! Thank you for your kindness and the excellent dish.

05/05/2024: Une déco rétro raffinée et authentique, une vaisselle a l ancienne et délicate, un service chaleureux et attentionné, des plats faits maisons et goûteux, des vins locaux à souhait !... Bref, une adresse qu on souhaiterait ne garder que pour soi 😋 mais les hôtes méritent amplement d être reconnus !
21/04/2024: Une très belle adresse à retenir avec un accueil chaleureux, familial, des plats frais de saison, local, bref un vrai régal tout est fait maison !!

03/11/2024: The hotel to escape!!!. I booked a room for two nights at the Ambacia Tours Sud hotel in Saint-Avertin 37550. We chose the proximity of this hotel to the party hall because we were there for a wedding.
What a disappointment when we arrived. I stay in a 3-star hotel and therefore pay the price of a 3-star for a certain comfort.
My husband and I were surprised when we arrived at a parking lot without maintenance (dilapidated exterior) with just a small, very weak light inside. We had doubts, perhaps believing that the hotel was closed.
The irony was when we discovered the room, the stained carpet and dirty wallpaper, dilapidated bathroom with an obvious lack of ventilation, it was total, a bathroom with black joints, the cracked sink , stained walls...
The only positive point is the comfortable and clean bedding.
Very noisy hotel, not well insulated. We hear the conversations of the people in the next room as if we were in the same room.
Lunches mediocre for the price, the first day we arrived at 8 a.m. for breakfast there were almost no pastries left. In the basket a few disheveled chocolate bars, we ask if we can have croissants, the lady will tell us that she does not manage the catering, she is just a chambermaid. But still come back a few minutes later to tell us that there is a croissant left. What intrigued us was that this maid was at reception all weekend. And she's the same one who gave us our bill. I didn't hesitate to ask her if she wore several hats? Apparently she was replacing a colleague who was on sick leave that day. Anyway. This Sunday we were able to have the croissants but not cooked so bread with butter and that's all for the price honestly!
The hotel needs a good renovation!
Also for a little anecdote. If you have to pay by holiday check, check and do the counting together with the person at the checkout so as not to have any surprises 😧.
