27/07/2024: Classic French cafe. Slightly bolshy and slow but friendly service, decent food in a nice location. Enjoy it for what it is, a place to wind away some time, have a beer, a glass of wine or a coffee while watching the world go by.

23/03/2024: Great discovery, restaurant which offers little choice, a guarantee of quality, everything is made in house. What is not homemade is notifiable. We had the green pepper terrine as a starter. The quantity did not disappoint us! The beef was tender, the home fries cooked in duck fat were very good. Well done to the cooks. We enjoyed our evening in this establishment.

08/09/2024: Zufällig gefunden, sehr positiv überrascht, toller Service, leckeres Essen (Extra-Gemüseportion), vernünftiger Preis. Unbedingt zu empfehlwen!

21/08/2024: Book! Book! Book! On Saturday night it was only possible to choose one of two times to eat, due to them being so busy and wanting a first and second service, which is common in France (not sure if this is the same during the week). Once you understand this, my only advice is just go! They had to turn so many people away who were trying their luck without a reservation. They have a larger than average menu (compared to other French restaurants of a similar size) and all the food we had was exquisite - a delight for the taste buds! We both enjoyed all of our three courses plus the complementary pâté to go with the bread before the meal - lovely! We had a young Chinon red wine, which was fairly priced and good. The service was fantastic - I was concerned about having all diners arrive at the same time and how the kitchen would cope, but clearly there is a system, as no one had a long wait. Waiters and waitresses were friendly and efficient. Definitely not cheap cheap, but excellent value for money. There was even an English menu to help my wife out, which was quite rare during our week. The clientele was a real mix of foreigners and French, as this is on the main restaurant street. If I were local, I'd be happy eating here every Saturday night. Have you understood the main piece of advice yet?! You need to BOOK!

26/08/2024: We were recommended to visit by our accommodation hosts and we were not disappointed. The pizza was absolutely delicious and the hosts were lovely, making a little joke with our son and being so welcoming. I would book ahead as we were very lucky that we were squeezed in but I am so happy that we did as this was one of our favourite meals

23/08/2024: A FUIR nois avons commandé des pizzas à 19h15 pour le soir même. On nous annonce pas avant 21h15 soit 2h plus tard. Nous acceptons même si nous trouvons ce délais exagéré pour 7 pizzas! Arrivée à 21h15 après avoir fait 20 minutes de routes. On nous annonce que les pizzas ne sont pas pretes ! Et qu'il faut attendre 45minutes de plus. Aucune excuse rien. Nous sommes répartis sans rien. C'est inadmissible et honteux de la part d'un soit disant professionel.

17/09/2024: Served, probably by one of the owners and with bad will! Didn't properly explain the dish. Very questionable hygiene...

10/09/2024: Too bad the waiter only sighed that there were too many people and that there were only two of them, because the meal was good and the wait was reasonable.

21/08/2024: Good cakes even if the service was stressful and rushing.

20/08/2024: Disappointingly, green tea is an herbal tea. Ordinary strong cakes and the bill is wrong. But we are at the rain artist.

19/08/2023: It is unusual to see places offering this type of fast food. The welcome is very good and pleasant with a preparer who gives good advice on how to compose your meal. It is almost unlikely that you will not be satisfied while eating in this place and especially given the price, it remains a good place in case you are very hungry ;)

10/08/2023: We pass there whenever we go to Tours. This restaurant was clearly my best friend during my pregnancy! The portions are more than generous, and it's very good. The choice of ingredients is nice, and the welcome is great :) The quality-quantity-price ratio is more than correct.
