29/11/2024: A first for us unexpectedly and certainly not a last. Tasty and generous cuisine, a very professional welcome and service. I recommend the unexpected.
12/10/2024: The meal was good despite our arrival a little late, the price was right, we each ate a croque-monsieur with garnish, then tarte tatin with whipped cream, the dish suited us, the service correct, the waitress very friendly.

30/06/2024: We hebben hier echt heerlijk gegeten! Met mooi weer zaten we buiten op het terras. Het meisje van de bediening was erg vriendelijk en het eten was voortreffelijk! Een absolute aanrader zijn de lenterollen vooraf! Zelden zo lekker gegeten. Mijn tafelgenoten waren erg te spreken over hun kip met respectievelijk paddestoelen en curry. Zelf had ik een overheerlijke Canard au 5 parfums. Om je vingers bij af te likken! En dat voor zeer bescheiden prijzen. In een vergelijkbare stad in NL betaal je zeker 50% meer!

28/06/2024: Served by a person who was not at all the best, not given a small plate or spoon for a soft cake that didn't fit in the hand, plus there was, I think, a manager, it seemed like it bothered him to give me a spoon that I could eat my cake on the bag I don't recommend it at all in any case for me it's finished as well as my family who didn't appreciate it at all

07/09/2024: First time I went to this store, the concept is very nice, unfortunately the quantity is not up to par with the prices... really a shame, expensive for what it is...
02/09/2024: We chose wraps, the price is affordable and the range of ingredients is more than sufficient. The friendliness of the waiter and his kindness make counter service all the more pleasant. The atmosphere within the restaurant due to the decoration and the lighting is not at its best!

01/12/2024: Les incontournables friandises d’Amboise pour se faire plaisir entre 2 visites : à emporter ou sur place, tout est bon! Le chocolat chaud maison à l’orange, une tuerie! Les oursons en guimauve, les tartelettes, goûtez-tout!

Serveurs souriants, certes, mais pour la patronne, faudra repasser.
30 mn d attente pour se voir servir une quiche à rechauffer et une assiette de fromages. Achat du caramel beurre salé au comptoir. Insipide. Sans saveur
Repassés plus tard car les enfants voulaient une glace. J'avais envie d en manger une mais...pour les adultes....pas de cornet possible !!!! Allez savoir pourquoi... Ca m'a passé l'envie !
Bref...déception.

24/08/2024: I had a salad, €17.50 all the same, and I had a few slices of rillons on a bed of salad, a few slices of unripe tomato and without any taste, because without sauce. The poached egg was not bad.
It's been a long time since I felt like I was being ripped off to this extent! Otherwise very welcome...
19/08/2024: We spent a very pleasant evening in this restaurant. Traditional cuisine of very good quality. Warm welcome and the waiter is attentive and full of kindness. A stop at this friendly restaurant is a must!

For the evening with guests and the surprise still frozen.
24/09/2024: Passing by at 6:45 a.m., 15 minutes after opening, I take my coffee and croissant and to my surprise the croissant was really not from the frozen day the day before or I know where they get them from but very disappointed to the quality today I complained to the waiter but he persisted that all their products are fresh

15/12/2024: Clean McDonald's, we were served quickly. Everything was hot. The only downside is that the trays arrived with the fries on the tray, but no protective paper on the tray. Not great at the moment

03/10/2024: We booked the hotel based on the official pictures, which do not show the renovation backlog of the last few decades. The hotel needs some investment. But it has a lot of charm and is ok as a stopover (for us towards Spain) and in conjunction with a visit to the Château de Chenonceau, which is just a five-minute walk away. The bathroom is very narrow and the shower (in the bathtub) has no shower curtain, which is why half the bathroom is flooded when showering. The beds were very comfortable. The older lady at the reception was very nice and friendly. Value for money could be better.
We skipped breakfast and instead had a lovely breakfast in a bakery in nearby Bléré.

27/01/2025: Cold kitchen. Bland dishes or on the contrary too strong for things that are not supposed to be (potatoes with salt and pepper, salad dressings). The desserts are also really bad. Don’t even try the crème brûlée, it might put you off for life. The others in the area are really much better!

Very little choice and hygiene that leaves something to be desired.
