07/06/2026: We just left this restaurant...great menu, excellent presentation, and very good ingredients. The staff were very friendly and equally kind.

01/06/2026: I unfortunately share many of the negative reviews regarding the quality of service. We had booked for five for Mother's Day and we were all surprised and disappointed by the way we were treated by Anne Marie, the restaurant owner. There were numerous inappropriate remarks about us smoking on the terrace, which is, in fact, a designated smoking area with ashtrays available. "Oh, it stinks," "Go smoke somewhere else, get out!", "The whole restaurant smells of smoke," "My waiter's eyes are watering" (seriously, that last one's a good one) are just a few examples of the comments we received. Meanwhile, people were smoking at practically every table and even at the restaurant entrance where there's an ashtray, but apparently, no one seemed to mind. I can certainly understand that cigarette smoke can be bothersome, and I respect those who are bothered by it, but in that case, why not just make the terrace non-smoking? Simple and effective. And despite all that, I'm ready to get up and go smoke somewhere else if asked politely, but there's a right way and a wrong way to present things, and good manners are clearly lacking in the restaurant owner. I see that this echoes other reviews, and I'm sorry the owner hasn't reflected on her actions. It's a real shame because the other employees are fantastic, the food is top-notch, and the setting is magnificent. The problem is that I'm also paying for service that isn't up to par, resulting in a Mother's Day meal that was ultimately ruined. Madam owner, don't waste your time replying to this comment; we've already discussed this, and I think we've said everything we need to say... And then I see your reply to my comment... What bad faith! It's astounding. You dare to comment on my behavior, when I was trying to remain calm and preferred not to respond for everyone's sake. That's my biggest regret, ultimately. I should have gotten up and left much earlier. You didn't deserve for us to spend another penny at your establishment. Remember, it's your customers who keep you in business, so show them a little respect. Goodbye

09/03/2026: I chose this hotel because it has charging stations on site. Unfortunately, none of the four charging points could be activated via the Freshmile app. It's also annoying that the exterior lights are switched off at midnight, forcing guests to find their way to the late check-in in the dark. The rooms are nice, but the bathrooms and floors are quite dated and could use an update. The breakfast is very good.

23/02/2026: An absolutely remarkable stay! I must especially highlight the professionalism and exceptional kindness of the staff, who made the experience perfect from the very first moment. The grounds are magnificent and inviting, the spa is excellent, and the restaurant offers a truly fantastic culinary experience. The exceptional décor also gives the hotel a unique atmosphere. I would gladly have extended my stay—a highly recommended address!

29/05/2026: L'Oasis restaurant feels like a true family-run establishment where generosity and conviviality are the order of the day. I would like to highlight the exceptional quality of the couscous, whether served with any meat, as well as the generous portions. The passionate and welcoming owner takes the time to explain the origin of the ingredients and share his homemade recipes. The attentive and genuine service enhances the experience, making you want to return. In short, an unmissable oriental and Berber restaurant for lovers of couscous and traditional cuisine.

It's rare to find pizzas this good in Italy 🇮🇹 Always perfect, a fantastic team, always smiling, cheerful, and kind! It's always a pleasure to eat here. The food: Delicious! All our guests raved about it. The ambiance: The outdoor seating is beautiful and inviting. The service: Warm, attentive, and completely professional – we wanted for nothing. Many thanks to the entire Simbachmühle team for this unforgettable day. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this wonderful restaurant in Alsting!

07/12/2025: We had lunch here with my husband and two children during a visit to Metz. We received a very warm welcome and the waiters were friendly. The menu was varied, and all the products were sourced from local producers. The ribeye steak was the best I've had in a long time in a restaurant—perfectly cooked. The revisited steak tartare was delicious, and the burgers were generous. The desserts are a real highlight, with many homemade options! The tarte Tatin was delicious, and the little pistachio and raspberry financiers were equally delightful. We highly recommend it!
