22/05/2026: Unlike some self-proclaimed food critics who seem to think a restaurant must necessarily reflect their personal tastes to be considered "worthwhile," the menu here has the merit of possessing a genuine identity and offering something coherent and well-crafted. We come to a restaurant to discover a cuisine and an atmosphere, not to impose our own desires on the chef… For the rest, a very pleasant discovery: a particularly lovely terrace, tasteful and elegant decor, and a warm atmosphere without being pretentious. The service is efficient, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. The dishes are well-prepared, refined, and balanced, with a few discreet but expertly executed Asian touches that bring a real originality to the whole experience. A place clearly worth recommending, both for the setting and the food.

18/07/2026: A very nice place, the food is excellent, the service is top-notch, the dining room is air-conditioned, and there's a terrace. This place is friendly; there were three of us for lunch. We had a very generously portioned Vosges salad that was truly delicious, a Milanese salad, and a perfectly cooked beef fillet. I highly recommend it without hesitation!

13/07/2026: A restaurant renowned for its meat specialties. I enjoyed an excellent steak there. The homemade ice cream is also a real treat. A highly recommended place.

14/06/2026: Good lunch menu, but you can't get a table without a reservation. The food selection is limited to one dish – but that's a good thing. It's strange that they're closed Friday to Sunday.

13/05/2026: A wonderful discovery based on a recommendation! I had a great time and the food was absolutely delicious. 😍 If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by again! Special mention for the very warm welcome, I loved it. I love a friendly place where everyone laughs and the service is superb; the chef even came out to greet his customers. From aperitif to dessert, it was a delight. Impeccable table service, artisanal cuisine at every stage—in short, I had a wonderful time with my family 😃👍

29/06/2026: Solid, traditional cuisine. The restaurant impresses with its consistently excellent food, service, and value for money. The menu offers good, traditional cuisine that perfectly suits the region. The lovely ambiance is particularly noteworthy: the restaurant is located just outside the town in a green setting and offers not only a great outdoor seating area but also ample parking right outside. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable and down-to-earth place for a relaxing visit.

26/06/2026: The service was poor. More drinks were ordered than were brought. There was a very long wait. One employee was very unfriendly to all the guests; she should really be working in the kitchen. Other employees were very attentive but very forgetful, and they had nothing to write down except the unfriendly service. Several glasses were broken and were still used or placed on the table. The portion size was adequate for a restaurant, but nothing special. The dessert was good. The table for about 15 guests was arranged in such a way that some had to sit in the sun in 40-degree heat (in the shade), even though there were plenty of shady spots. When we asked about it, we were told that's just how it is and we could move when the other guests sitting in the shade left. They wouldn't rearrange anything. They clearly don't think things through. With the current temperatures, this is almost tantamount to assault. It makes the guests feel completely unconcerned. I personally wouldn't go back. A guest should feel comfortable and not have to compromise or endure anything. Recommended for people with time and sun protection.

21/07/2026: Hello I've been coming several times a month for several years now. Always satisfied, always excellent, and never disappointed. I would, however, like to suggest to the chef that the dessert menu be updated a bit, especially in the summer, with some sorbets (melon, mango, passion fruit, etc.) and summer fruit salads (watermelon, melon, etc.) because I've stopped ordering dessert lately. We will definitely be coming back to your restaurant, as I've made a reservation for 10 people next Saturday. See you soon!

15/07/2026: I was very pleasantly surprised by a generous and excellent plate of food; I have no complaints about the meal itself. However, the welcome was VERY poor, even bordering on rudeness, from someone who probably thought they were a head waiter in a luxury hotel but lacked the necessary class! It was early evening, only one table was occupied, and there was NO ONE at the entrance. We were seated, and within three minutes, this frustrated person, probably acting out of character, appeared and attacked us. This behavior was UNACCEPTABLE! Fortunately, the two other staff members, who were lovely and charming, redeemed the experience. Thank you to them, and the meal was excellent.

07/06/2026: Hello, I've removed my previous post. I would really like to place my orders as I have in the past. I've been ordering from you for about fifteen years. I've never been disappointed. Lately, things haven't been the same as usual, but well, these things happen. I think that when a customer isn't entirely satisfied, it's normal for them to let me know. It's the same everywhere, but that's no reason for us to refuse our orders. I've always enjoyed your lasagna, tagliatelle with scallops, etc. I hope to be able to order again. Have a good day.

18/06/2026: A very good little neighborhood brasserie, ideally located near the Centre Pompidou and the train station. The welcome is warm, the service is quick, and the food is good. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the area. An unpretentious place where you can have a good time in a friendly atmosphere. Perfect for a pleasant lunch or dinner without breaking the bank. I highly recommend it!

The food: Delicious! All our guests raved about it. The ambiance: The outdoor seating is beautiful and inviting. The service: Warm, attentive, and completely professional – we wanted for nothing. Many thanks to the entire Simbachmühle team for this unforgettable day. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this wonderful restaurant in Alsting!
