05/09/2026: I have mixed feelings about our experience. The welcome was pleasant and the food, overall, was good. However, we ordered veal escalopes with cream and mushrooms, and unfortunately, there was absolutely no cream in the first few plates: only a veal stock sauce. We pointed this out to the waitress, who nevertheless insisted that there was indeed cream. Finally, a new veal escalope with cream was prepared for us, and this time, there was indeed cream, which clearly allowed us to see the difference. It's a shame, because the dish was good, but we were disappointed to have to insist to get what we had actually ordered. The welcome and the overall quality of the food were satisfactory, but this situation unfortunately left a bad impression.

02/09/2026: The daily special was terrible: too much sauce, too salty, and tasteless. The fries were overcooked, definitely from the day before. The toast was cold. The music was too loud.

18/08/2026: We've been dining at Auberge Fleurie with Catherine and Christophe for over thirty years, and they've never failed to live up to their reputation. We live in Arizona and always make a point of visiting them when we're in France, with our parents and children. Impeccable service, authentic and delicious food, a warm atmosphere, and exceptional hospitality. Thank you both for treating us to such wonderful food!

29/06/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant for a family event. No regrets whatsoever! Everyone was delighted. The dishes were high-quality and homemade. The welcome was warm and the service efficient. A big thank you to the whole team; we will gladly return!

08/08/2026: We had the opportunity to appreciate the quality of the food offered, both from the daily menu and the à la carte menu, all at a reasonable price. However, we would like to point out an area for improvement regarding the wait time. During our visit yesterday, Friday, August 7th, at noon, the wait resulted in a 20-minute delay before we could resume our work activities at 2:00 PM. A service lasting 1 hour and 50 minutes is, in our opinion, a bit long. Apart from this point, the experience was excellent, and we highly recommend this establishment. I hope to be able to give it the missing star next time 😉

03/07/2026: We had a very good meal, but there was one small drawback: the billing process. The owner at the checkout... we're still waiting for her smile and kind words.

29/07/2026: The quality is still excellent, no complaints there. However, the service and the way some customers are treated have changed significantly. As a loyal customer since they opened, I've often felt unwelcome, while others seem to receive different treatment. It's a shame, because the experience no longer reflects the quality of the products. Personally, I now prefer to shop elsewhere.

10/08/2026: Excellent iced coffees!!! (In response to the owner, I removed 2 stars for cleanliness. He suggested 5 stars because the iced coffees are very good.)

06/08/2026: I'm not giving it a zero! I ordered a salmon waffle from Uber Eats, the batter inside was raw, and the restaurant is unreachable. Everything went in the bin. So much for a food safety risk!

07/08/2026: I'm from Metz, and this restaurant is a tourist trap. Following our visit on August 7, 2026, I'm writing about this unpleasant experience. My partner and I each ordered beef skewers. My partner wanted a side dish, and we were charged extra without being informed. Some of the skewers were cold; they were clearly pre-cooked and then reheated (how?). My dietary restrictions prevented me from choosing from the side dishes offered. Knowing they offered "saffron rice," I asked if it was possible to have white rice, but this request seemed too complicated. Where was the chef? I was served a dish without a proper side dish, which was still charged to me at €17. When the bill arrived, we spoke with the waiter, who was quite dismissive. Apparently, we weren't acting in good faith. He even implied that we were liars because "you say whatever you want." A hefty €42 bill for a meal that left us hungry. If you respect the work of real restaurateurs, please don't stop there. Sincerely, Florent
