The all-you-can-eat buffet concept could be an asset, but here it remains largely theoretical in reality. In practice, the meal is most often disappointing. The service lacks consistency, and the quality varies greatly depending on the team, ranging from acceptable to disastrous. On-site, customer complaints are frequent, reflecting widespread dissatisfaction. The buffet's organization reveals significant problems: unavailable dishes, a lack of variety, and bins regularly empty even at the very beginning of the evening—including for basic items like fries—leading to waiting, frustration, and tension. The quality of the food is equally concerning: vegetables are sometimes burnt, otherwise bland or excessively spicy, side dishes like rice or pasta are often undercooked, and there is a lack of replenishment. The portions of both main courses and dishes with sauces have also been reduced, giving the impression of meager rationing. Added to this are malfunctions that reveal a general lack of rigor, such as the toilet water being regularly scalding hot, which is unacceptable and dangerous. The overall impression is of an establishment that has lost control, is poorly managed, and incapable of maintaining a minimum level of consistent quality. The problems are not isolated incidents but are repeated and evident on numerous occasions. Until serious reforms are implemented, the customer experience will remain unsatisfactory and difficult to accept. A serious response is now essential.

25/04/2026: A disastrous experience!!! We are a small group who regularly frequent this restaurant. Even washing our hands was impossible; the water was scalding hot. It's very dangerous for young children. I mentioned this to the evening manager, who barely reacted. She was unresponsive and didn't smile all evening. The staff is neither dynamic nor engaged. There were few people in the restaurant that evening. And yet... The chicken served was dry; it must have been from lunchtime. The fish and chips was served cold and soggy; we had to reheat it in the microwave. The vegetable buffet lacked variety and quality, especially compared to Flunch Fameck at the same price... The rice was dry and burnt, the lentils were dried out, and the mixed vegetables had dry pieces that almost made me choke. There were no fries. We had to wait and ask for more vegetables. The fries are out in weekend mode as early as 7 PM. You have to wait until 8:30 PM for the buffet to be properly replenished, just before it's all thrown away. What management! It's time to wake up!!! This is a disaster!

02/04/2026: Service? No comment. They clearly don't want to be there, and it shows! Hygiene? I think they expect customers to clean their own tables. The coffee is okay, and the pastries—like cookies and muffins—are nice. If you want to choke on something like that, look elsewhere.

26/03/2026: I ordered two Too Good To Go baskets, paying €3.99 each, but they're normally worth at least €12 each. I got a sandwich, a slice of cake, and a lemon square. It was nowhere near the €24 value. The display case was still quite full, and he filled the basket right in front of us. I was disappointed with these baskets.

29/03/2026: It's an old restaurant and the owner also, but they try their best and have very good food for the price. Every Sunday they have two different 3 course menu. We have been many Sundays there because the price quality ratio is unbeatable and the older lady serving is very friendly.

02/12/2025: The restaurant was empty, and the menu? A scrap of paper! They didn't even have a drinks menu; we had to guess what we wanted and what they actually had!! 🧐 There was a heated argument between the cook and the waitress, which was really bad. The online menu is completely outdated, both in terms of price and the food itself. The food was disappointing; I could easily make the same thing at home myself 😅 They didn't even offer a carafe of water. The service was slow, and they didn't even ask how I wanted my meat cooked. I went home and ended up having to cook my own meal. I definitely do not recommend this place. 😒

26/06/2025: I've been going to this place for years. I order two set menus and ask for two cups to drink my can of beer. And then, surprise, they charge me 10 cents per cup!!! What kind of way is this? I won't be going back again.

22/06/2025: I've ordered bread several times and what I ordered doesn't match what was served. Even today, I ordered 7 baguettes and the person gave me 4. I took it back and asked for 7 more baguettes, thinking she had done her job. I didn't check, and when I got home, I realized she gave me 9 baguettes. I think either the person isn't listening or she has a hearing problem. It would be nice to be careful; it's not serious, but it's annoying. 26/03/2026: My husband and I go there regularly; we are often served by Sandrine, a very pleasant and always friendly saleswoman. We have never had any problems with the staff.

07/03/2026: It's my little break in the day, and a real pleasure to come and have my meal at Le Poulaillon, a tradition I've had for over 20 years now 👌 We're always greeted with a smile, especially by Sandrine, who I find very professional and friendly 👍

12/04/2026: Very disappointed with this restaurant! No menu… So no choice, it's a set menu! No prices displayed… It's a surprise… you don't know the price of what you're going to eat! We sit down… They bring us rice with half a sausage and a small piece of chicken (What is this? The starter? The main course? The side dish?) They don't explain anything, Then comes the meat (I must say it was excellent) with unlimited fries But I've barely finished my piece of meat… The waitress brings dessert… Still no choice It's lukewarm pineapple And that's the end of the meal For €45 per person!!!!! No atmosphere, unpleasant waitress Who's in a hurry to finish her shift In short, I don't recommend it

It started right from the beginning… we ordered Moselle wine from the menu as an aperitif, and the waitress arrived with a Côtes de Gascogne, saying she was substituting it because they didn't have any Moselle wine. We refused and ordered another wine, despite her surprise… The scallop and morel risotto was on the menu. We ordered the dish. The waitress told us there wouldn't be scallops and morels with it, but prawns, because they couldn't afford to buy scallops and morels… An hour and a half later, the dish arrived, and we were told it was taking a long time because we hadn't ordered a starter… The dish was good, but nothing special. The service was catastrophic; the waitress didn't understand any of our requests. When it came time for dessert, we decided to refuse and give up. Oh well, so much for dessert. Why does the chef employ such unqualified staff in the dining room? And what about the dining room… the tables are chipped, the baseboards are falling off… And the final nail in the coffin… “Our card machine isn’t working, you have to pay in cash.” I won’t even mention that the cashier didn’t know how to do the bill and, more importantly, was just guessing at the prices. She didn’t have any change, she was just bartering. It was like something out of a comedy sketch 😂 and the other customers felt the same way.

28/04/2026: Good morning. The man taking orders is unbearable, no smile whatsoever, truly unpleasant, unlike one of the cooks. The prices are exorbitant, and the portions are small... The value for money is gone... making maximum profit at the expense of the customers... no, I prefer to give my money to friendly people who respect their customers... there should be a minimum level of service (welcome and quantity)...

21/02/2026: Not to mention the worst pizza I've ever eaten. The dough was elastic and undercooked. The toppings were mediocre at best. Cheap, but not good. The owner was very friendly, but not up to par.
