06/07/2026: I stop by every time I'm in Metz and I love it. The pastries are delicious and the owner is absolutely lovely.

06/08/2026: My experience at City Wok in Metz was very disappointing. The food seemed stale, and the shrimp had a bad odor. They were rubbery, making them seem unfresh. Furthermore, desserts were often unavailable, and several dishes were out of stock. The serving trays were constantly nearly empty, giving the impression that they were deliberately underfilled, making it difficult to serve oneself properly. The lack of customer service is evident. I am very disappointed with this restaurant and will not be returning.

06/08/2026: The shrimp were old and reheated. They smelled bad. A complete lack of care. The toilets were a breeding ground for infection. I will never go back.

09/08/2026: The bar is well located, not far from my place, perfect for a break in the sun, though somewhat shaded by the parasols on the terrace. I had a great time there with my friend.

18/07/2026: You arrive at 9:00 PM, order your aperitif, then your main course, and finally dessert. It's 10:00 PM, the restaurant's closing time. Dessert is served, but the servers stare at you insistently, urging you to leave. Or perhaps they're too busy chatting and laughing amongst themselves at the bar. Very disappointed with the staff; it's gone downhill. We used to enjoy coming here, but given the current staff, unfortunately, we won't be returning.

26/06/2026: We've come here several times with colleagues for a quick lunch break. The value for money is simply excellent. You can choose between the air-conditioned dining room or the terrace. (And in this sweltering June heat, it's so nice to be cool). In short, don't hesitate...

11/05/2026: I regularly go to this bakery with my brother, and it's always a pleasure. The staff is very friendly, especially the wonderful duo—they'll know who they are 😊 Despite how busy it often is, they always take the time to greet everyone with a smile. There's always that little extra touch that makes all the difference. The bread and pastries are truly excellent. I highly recommend this place!

13/06/2026: Extremely welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere has changed considerably since these young people took over, as I never used to go there because it was so seedy! In my opinion, some renovations and improvements should be considered to make the place more welcoming and clean.

18/07/2026: Absolutely filthy! Filthy, filthy, filthy… Avoid at all costs! Unfortunately, I checked the condition of the premises after ordering. Seeing the name "Burger Kebab," I thought it was the same place as the one in downtown Nancy. But it wasn't at all! An entire meal went in the trash. You know Action? They sell cleaning products at low prices, you know. Just one product would be enough to improve the hygiene of the place. Seriously, think about hygiene.

05/06/2026: Best kebab in Thionville in my opinion, always well served, generous portions, nothing to complain about. I highly recommend this establishment.

18/08/2026: We sat down for a few moments at a table around 3 p.m., when there was practically no one around and the establishment even seemed to be closed. There were three of us young people, one of whom was using crutches. A man immediately came over and asked us to leave, telling us that the tables were reserved for customers who were actually buying food or drinks. Fine. We can perfectly understand that a space is reserved for customers. But there's a way to say it. No greeting, no "excuse me," just a curt remark. This is all the more surprising since another person, visibly older and sitting alone at another table, was sitting calmly without it seeming to cause the slightest problem. We, on the other hand, were three young people and were immediately asked to leave. When my father went to ask him for an explanation, he replied very clearly: "We don't want customers like you." This sentence unfortunately sums up very well the reception we received. Asking someone not to sit down without ordering anything is one thing. Treating people with contempt is quite another. A simple "hello, excuse me, the tables are reserved for our customers" would have been perfectly sufficient. When you see a practically empty establishment in the middle of the afternoon and the way some potential customers are treated, you can perhaps better understand why. In any case, after an experience like this, we won't be returning and we obviously cannot recommend this place.

25/07/2026: I wanted to leave a review to counter all the other negative ones… we were very well received and served, the team is dynamic and young. Quick service, good food… and all that for a very reasonable price! I recommend it; I've been going there for many years…

30/06/2026: I'm truly shocked by the quality of the food. Was the pizza dough made at a summer camp by four-year-olds or something? It was awful—drainy, flat, undercooked, and not at all. The service was incredibly slow, and the staff gave us looks that made us feel like we were bothering them, even though we were simply waiting to finish our meal and leave. I'll never go back.
