20/02/2026: We arrived at 8 pm and had to leave the restaurant barely 40 minutes later. At no point were we offered dessert or tea/coffee. The bill arrived almost immediately after we finished eating!
We were made to feel very strongly that we had to leave: the music was turned off, and people stared at us intently. The atmosphere became very awkward, and we felt like we were intruding.
To top it all off, the owner and the waiter left the restaurant right after we left to go to their car. A truly disappointing experience, despite the food being decent.

I've always been a customer, but these days the individual pastries are really small, yet the prices are quite high.
The marshmallows are definitely not worth the price.

04/01/2026: So, I never post negative reviews about restaurants or bakeries, but this isn't about taste anymore, it's about simple objectivity...
The subject is the galette des rois (king cake).... Admittedly, it has a beautiful shape and is undoubtedly the most beautiful crown, but that's all.... One size only, at €35, but if it were good, it would be forgivable. But that's far from the case... the puff pastry is anything but crispy, and worse, the inside is practically nonexistent, not even 1 cm thick, and above all, completely tasteless.... More than a complaint, it's a warning to future buyers...

02/12/2025: The restaurant was empty, and the menu? A scrap of paper! They didn't even have a drinks menu; we had to guess what we wanted and what they actually had!! 🧐
There was a heated argument between the cook and the waitress, which was really bad.
The online menu is completely outdated, both in terms of price and the food itself.
The food was disappointing; I could easily make the same thing at home myself 😅
They didn't even offer a carafe of water. The service was slow, and they didn't even ask how I wanted my meat cooked.
I went home and ended up having to cook my own meal.
I definitely do not recommend this place. 😒

So much so that I didn't even stay to finish my coffee. If you want to have a pleasant experience at this place, whatever you do, avoid Sandrine!

The saleswomen are very friendly, smiling, and welcoming. The service is pleasant and a real pleasure. I highly recommend it!

The person who took my payment was simply unpleasant, haughty, and disrespectful. Even before I had paid, she refused to change my order, claiming there were three people behind me... This is ridiculous for a place that's supposed to welcome customers with a smile, especially at breakfast time.
Worse still: she behaved as if she were the owner of the place, speaking to me in an authoritarian and contemptuous tone, even going so far as to try to kick me out! This is unprecedented.
If you're looking for a place to start the day in a calm and cheerful atmosphere, avoid this establishment.
The other outlets in the Dosda chain have much more pleasant and professional staff.
29/06/2025: I push open the door full of hope, I come out with a sandwich dripping with mayo and a healthy dose of contempt to boot.
• Product? Dry bread, sloppy filling, mayonnaise poured on like there's no tomorrow.
• Service? Contemptuous looks, no listening, no politeness: I was almost made to feel like I was in the way in the queue.
• Result? Ruined lunch, a sour mood, and the certainty that I won't set foot there again.
When you call yourself an "artisan baker," the minimum you should do is respect the customer: a smile, a sincere "hello," and the ability to hear "not too much sauce, please." Here, none of that. Too bad, because a business that disregards its customers ends up losing them sooner or later.
Bottom line: if you value your lunch break (and your nerves), move on.

17/01/2026: The shrimp and scallop risotto was truly awful because the parmesan had gone bad. €19 for a dish ruined by the cheese and, above all, the owner's bad faith. The owner offered no compensation whatsoever. Two shrimp and two scallops were expensive. Avoid at all costs.

28/02/2026: The staff was particularly unpleasant: no greeting, no smile, and a very haughty attitude when we pointed out a problem.
We had paid for sauces that were left out of our order… and in the end, we didn't even receive them despite asking for them. It's unacceptable to pay for items and not receive them. Furthermore, no napkins were provided.
The fries were only half-filled, which really makes you feel like you're getting less for your money. The restrooms were dirty, which is unacceptable in an establishment open to the public.
There were very few self-service kiosks for about thirty people, which created a significant wait, and no table service was offered.
I understand that work can be stressful, but a minimum of politeness, respect, and professionalism is expected. I hope management will take these comments seriously in order to improve the customer service and overall experience.

02/12/2025: Proud resident of Marpsich since birth. I used to go there with my family, happy as a clam to sit at the Spring Lake… I'm writing this message in the parking lot of that bygone idyll. A buffet worthy of a clumsy teenager reheating a plate of pasta left by his single mother after her midweek outing… Slimy swamps have formed, the sauces so frozen in time. Are they, too, made of marble in the face of the pervasive desolation emanating from this buffet? One thing is certain: the Zahn family won't find the One Piece; the golden age of culinary piracy is over for this family, hardened by life. As for the service, human warmth wouldn't even be detectable by the most advanced thermal imaging on the market. Let's finish with the highlight of the show: desserts! Sweet breadsticks, old coconut balls, and other ice creams dug out from the back of the cupboard, surely dating back to their heyday (I can't imagine any sane person being tempted, even then). Wishing you a pleasant evening in remembrance of our wild dijo. Cheers.

25/02/2026: The staff were welcoming and smiling. However, this was my first and last experience. The food was reheated and tasteless. The scallops were questionable in terms of freshness. My first time in a buffet restaurant where the food was truly awful.
16/02/2026: The place was very beautiful and very quiet, and the waitress was great. However, whether it was the food or the (non-alcoholic) cocktails, it really wasn't up to par.
The cocktails were way too sweet, impossible to finish, and the food was tasteless… very dry, whether it was the cheese, calamari, or onion fritters, or the spring rolls, etc.
I don't recommend it, especially considering the price of the evening menu… I won't be back.
