22/07/2026: Best kebab around, very good. Highly recommended.

11/07/2026: Never make a reservation!!! We had a table reserved for 18 people, and they called twice to add more. When we arrived, there were people at our table. They told us that other people had arrived, so they gave them our table. The table wasn't even set! I will never go back, and to top it off, the woman was arrogant and barely answered us! I do not recommend it at all!!!!

29/11/2025: We were so looking forward to visiting this unique place; we'd only heard good things. So we took the trouble to book six days in advance, and what a surprise it was when, on that fateful Saturday evening, the day of our reservation, we found the doors locked. There was no note of apology on the door and no phone call to inform customers of the reservation (because, as professionals, we record the customer's phone number when taking the order). So we drove 70km for nothing. Thanks a lot, Jeep, we won't be back.

06/11/2025: We've been here several times and are always warmly welcomed and well served, especially by the hostess who is very pleasant and offers great advice. The menu is varied, blending traditional and exotic cuisine in a very pleasant jungle/lounge atmosphere. A sure bet when you want to relax in peace and treat yourself, even if it means having a proper communion meal ;)

04/05/2026: Great welcome, they make fun of you and throw a pizza at you that you didn't order

14/04/2026: Two friends and I went to eat lunch together. The pizzas were overcooked and the sauce was bland. For dessert, we had profiteroles, but the choux pastry wasn't good, there was no chocolate sauce, and it tasted like it had been frozen. It's a shame, because it used to be a very good restaurant.

21/07/2026: The bread in my sandwich seemed to be old.

09/05/2026: I was warmly welcomed by a young salesman, however the granitas are really not good and the pastries are left in the window all day in full sun.

08/03/2026: I got sick after eating the meat and waiting 35 minutes for my main course. At the end, we were told we couldn't pay by card. In short, I won't be going back.

01/03/2026: What a disaster! It started right from the beginning… we ordered Moselle wine from the menu as an aperitif, and the waitress arrived with a Côtes de Gascogne, saying she was substituting it because they didn't have any Moselle wine. We refused and ordered another wine, despite her surprise… The scallop and morel risotto was on the menu. We ordered the dish. The waitress told us there wouldn't be scallops and morels with it, but prawns, because they couldn't afford to buy scallops and morels… An hour and a half later, the dish arrived, and we were told it was taking a long time because we hadn't ordered a starter… The dish was good, but nothing special. The service was catastrophic; the waitress didn't understand any of our requests. When it came time for dessert, we decided to refuse and give up. Oh well, so much for dessert. Why does the chef employ such unqualified staff in the dining room? And what about the dining room… the tables are chipped, the baseboards are falling off… And the final nail in the coffin… “Our card machine isn’t working, you have to pay in cash.” I won’t even mention that the cashier didn’t know how to do the bill and, more importantly, was just guessing at the prices. She didn’t have any change, she was just bartering. It was like something out of a comedy sketch 😂 and the other customers felt the same way.

12/09/2026: A disappointing experience during our visit. The coffee was served in a visibly unwashed glass, covered in watermarks and residue—not very inviting for a chain of this caliber. The peach iced tea, meanwhile, simply didn't taste like peach at all—it was hard to know what we were actually served. The only positive aspect of the order was the cookie, which was decent. For around €10 for two people, the value for money is frankly unacceptable given what we were served. We clearly expect better from a chain like Columbus Café in terms of hygiene and product quality. I have photos, just in case...

04/09/2026: Columbus is truly the perfect place for a quick snack break! The muffins and other pastries are absolutely delicious, and there's a great selection of drinks. I especially love the matcha, which I order almost every time. ☺️ The service is always fantastic, it's a pleasure to come back!

17/08/2026: I ordered a small coffee and was served a large one; it was really bad, I don't recommend it.

15/08/2026: I bought two baguettes for €1.10 each, making it €2.20 for both. When I cut them, there were more crumbs on the table than bread. The baguette was disgustingly dry; it tasted like bread that had been reheated and defrosted the day before. Avoid this bakery if you're passing by. Go to Anges et Délice instead; it's a bit more expensive but much better, both for bread and pastries.

15/06/2026: A very good restaurant; I went for lunch today. It was very friendly, warm, and welcoming. I was able to enjoy the terrace until closing time. I highly recommend it.

08/08/2026: I came to buy a baguette (a good one, by the way!) yesterday. I was greeted with a half-hearted "hello"... I asked for a second piece of paper to cover my baguette because I was going to the pool, and the waitress told me she'd charge me for it. What I thought was a joke turned out to be true when the bill arrived!!! 20 cents for a bag... seriously... I understand the reputation of this bakery in Thionville!!!

08/08/2026: Good bakery, pastry shop, and chocolatier...very good bread and croissants...very good gluten-free bread... The owners could be a bit more friendly...

28/08/2026: Horrible café. The waitresses' behavior clearly betrays racist attitudes. Young men are smoking drugs right outside the entrance, and nobody seems to mind. The staff seems to prioritize who to serve and keep you waiting so long that you end up not wanting to order anything at all. The value for money is truly appalling. The tables are dirty, and nobody empties the ashtrays. We simply wanted to enjoy ourselves on the terrace, but we quickly lost all desire to stay. I strongly advise against this establishment.

27/08/2026: The hygiene is beyond appalling. The tables are dirty, covered in crumbs and stains from several drinks. The restrooms are disgusting. My son needed to use the restroom, and I was repulsed by the smell as soon as I walked in. My son then asked for an ACE, and the waitress, with a thick accent and very rude, asked me what that was and didn't know it. I explained that it was a multivitamin drink that I had ordered several times at this bar for my son (but with a different, much friendlier waitress). She came back with an open bottle of apple juice and practically threw it on the table. As for me, I ordered a tea and asked what flavors they had. The waitress replied, "Oh, I don't know, tea is tea." So I asked her for the box so I could choose, to which she replied, "Well, we're not in a hotel here, I have other things to do." This is unacceptable. When the bar was run by Madame Roberto, this would never have happened. The quality, cleanliness, and friendliness of the service have been completely neglected in favor of pure and simple profit. The quality of the drinks has also declined significantly (while the prices have increased). AVOID THIS BAR!!!!

14/08/2026: After several attempts, the pizza wasn't great and the customer wasn't taken seriously... It was supposed to be 45 minutes, but the delivery took 2 and a half hours and required two follow-up calls! The same problem every time. I'll go elsewhere!

29/07/2026: A wonderful surprise at the start of our vacation… perfectly cooked fish accompanied by equally juicy vegetables, and my husband had a delicious homemade cordon bleu! Thank you and all the best!
