01/05/2026: A complete rip-off. I placed an order through Uber Eats for two tacos. In reality, one single taco contained no meat at all, and the double one only contained scraps of meat. On the phone, the manager seemed unable to locate the order. A total joke. This place should be avoided.
13/04/2026: Very disappointed, it's not what it used to be, and it would be good to change your white scooter which echoes throughout the city when you're listening from 2 kilometers away.

06/03/2026: A very disappointing experience. I had booked for my husband and myself for Valentine's Day. I was thrilled to spend an evening in a place that looked magnificent and had a great atmosphere for Valentine's Day. Disillusionment quickly set in. Even when I booked, I had to pay in full upfront... Okay, fine, for a fine dining establishment, you might think that's normal. Then, two days before the event, I received a call to confirm my reservation and was told it wouldn't be at the Robert II but at the Salle Agnès, and at 7:00 PM sharp. I had no idea what this venue was. On the day, upon arrival, huge disappointment! A function room with dozens and dozens of tables, about 120 people, singers and musicians, but it was way too loud, though thankfully they were there. The decorations were awful, with tacky fake roses around the pillars. Nothing like the setting of the Robert II. In short, the first disappointment upon arrival. We were seated and then waited an hour and a half for our drinks, and only after two hours did the first course arrive. It was excruciatingly long. The service was abysmal; they brought us white wine, the bottle was lukewarm, and when we asked for a bucket, they had no ice, so we got cold water. A Coke cost €12—unheard of, except maybe in Monaco. The meal wasn't hot enough, and the dessert was mandatory and meant to be shared. They brought us bread after we'd finished the salmon; the table service was completely inadequate. Not to mention that we were charged for wine pairings we hadn't ordered, and we had to go back and forth twice to get a refund for several days. We clearly felt that profit was prioritized over quality. The longest evening of our lives. What a shame! Never again!!! Avoid at all costs.
23/02/2026: Valentine's Day meal 2026. Unbelievable for a fine dining establishment! On the aperitif menu, it says "Whisky Rum"? Which ones are you supposed to ask for? Actually, there's only one of each. I fill in the wine list: we have the names, not the appellations; you have to guess the color and origin. Great for choosing. We order a bottle of white wine, served lukewarm, at the same time as the aperitif. I ask for an ice bucket and am told "no ice." They bring me a bucket of tap water, so the wine doesn't chill at all! €40 a bottle... After four insistent requests and 35 minutes, they finally bring me a bucket with ice. I almost forgot the waiter, to whom I had to explain how to open the wine bottle, and who was butchering the cork, didn't offer a taste but poured both glasses directly. The only redeeming feature was a waitress who did her best to smooth things over in this complete fiasco. We were supposed to be in the gourmet restaurant, but instead we found ourselves in a noisy, overcrowded wedding hall. They claimed we should have been called to inform us of the change of venue; it was like this, but instead we went from this to this (see photos). I would have immediately canceled my reservation. The contrast is hard to swallow... and the price even more so! On top of that, they took so many people that everything arrived lukewarm; you had to rush to eat it at least somewhat hot. SHAMEFUL! The highlight of the show was the dessert! It's the same in all three restaurants at La Chartreuse... but the other two are brasseries! And to top it off, we were forced to order the same dessert for both of us—the whole nine yards! I gave it one star because I can't give it zero. My worst Valentine's Day since 1992. Le Robert 2 with a reception in a function room... Avoid at all costs! Taking reservations without informing customers of this surprise (let's call it that) is unacceptable, especially when they ask for such a large sum to be paid in advance! As an apology, they offered us complimentary drinks. I would have much preferred to enjoy a pleasant evening in a classy venue instead of being asked, "How long is this going to take? When will it end?"

30/03/2025: way too much waiting. To avoid, and on top of that, very unpleasant. And the portion of fries, a shame to have so few. First and last time. And on top of that, only errors in our orders! To really avoid.
30/03/2025: I am extremely disappointed with my visit. An interminable 1.5-hour wait, only to learn that there were no more sandwiches available. All this was accompanied by rude staff with little regard for customer service. The organization needs to be completely overhauled. I do not recommend it.

20/11/2025: The shop has been nice since the renovations. The pizzas are good (my favorite is the croque monsieur). Kevin and Cyr are friendly and always provide good service.
10/11/2025: I came here for lunch today to eat a pizza, and I'm really disappointed. The restaurant seems half-abandoned, the hygiene is appalling: an extension cord was lying in the middle of the counter, the toilets were filthy, and there wasn't even any water to wash your hands. On top of that, the pizza was overcooked and frankly inedible for €17. I strongly advise against going to this place.

09/04/2026: No room cleaning in 3 days. Sticky tables at breakfast, no noteworthy amenities. The breakfast buffet didn't deserve the name. The restaurant was uninspired. Wilted flowers in stale brown water.

15/02/2026: A fantastic experience at this brasserie! The dishes are generous, perfectly seasoned, with that authentic touch reminiscent of home cooking. You can really taste the homemade quality, and it makes all the difference. The welcome is warm, the service attentive, and the atmosphere pleasant. It's the kind of place where you feel comfortable and want to return.

26/10/2025: A reservation in August for the weekend of 10/31/25 to 11/2/25 for my husband's birthday and this Thursday the hotel calls us to cancel our reservation due to a boiler problem. I ask him if he has an alternative solution because it is a school holiday weekend and a football match so the surrounding hotel is full, he tells me no! I find myself without a solution a week before our departure the only response I got from them is be glad I let you know. I will never come to your hotel!!!

Tonight we placed an order and ran into a problem: first, after placing our order online, we received a phone call informing us that the card machine in the store wasn't working and that the others were being delivered. When my son went to pick up the pizzas and paid in cash, one was missing, and we only noticed it when we got home. He went back to the store, and another employee showed the total of our order on his till, revealing a shortfall of €45 compared to the amount we had paid in cash! They then confirmed that the card machine was working. We did, however, receive the missing pizza, thankfully. Very disappointed!
24/10/2025: A real horror! Run away before even entering! Bad reception, no hello, stared at by the waiters, they made us feel like we were in the way. We left before even ordering... I never thought I'd experience this!

16/05/2026: Avoid at all costs!!! I stopped there for an afternoon snack, and the crepes were only cooked on one side!!!! I've never seen anything like it. I pointed it out to the waitress, and she told me the cook always cooks them like that!! I'd really like to know what degree she has, seriously... And a half-cooked crepe with five grains of sugar on it for 3 euros is unacceptable... so change your name because there's absolutely nothing gourmet about it... Even though my crepe was remade and cooked on both sides, I'm not going to say thank you because that's the bare minimum.... The waitress is, let's say, neither friendly nor unfriendly... she told me she's doing the best she can, being alone.... I'm not going to judge... but come on, on a Friday during Ascension weekend, you could at least give a student a small favor, for example... 4.50 euros for a tea too... in short... I won't be going back!

25/05/2026: We thought, "Great, we'll be able to eat with a sea view, plus there's plenty of space." We wouldn't have known... We were quickly seated at a table, then we saw the four waiters running around, going from one table to another. After 10 minutes, we finally got the menu, then we asked to order drinks, and they said, "Yes, my colleague will be right back." The same waiter arrived 15 minutes later. That's when the place started to get crowded, and we could feel the panic setting in. We realized he was also taking care of the tables on the opposite sidewalk. Then there was more waiting to order our food. My husband ordered plain chicken, and they served him a ridiculously small cutlet. It was on a plate that had two cracks and was therefore sharp. The cook, who I assume was the owner, came down at one point, angry because there were too many orders. The waiters were trying to serve everyone and no one at the same time. This place is one to avoid.

29/05/2026: Discovered during a heavy downpour. We went inside and were pleasantly surprised by the decor, admittedly elaborate, but perfectly suited to our tastes. Value for money is definitely the right term here. The food was good and varied. The only surprise was having to pay before eating, due to some unscrupulous operators. A pleasant experience nonetheless.
23/05/2026: 3 Stars is the current average rating, and it's my rating too! ✓ We were seated upon arrival and received a warm welcome. → We were asked to pay immediately after being seated. → While I understand the need to pay immediately (in case of a non-paying customer), it would be helpful to have this clearly stated (on the doors, for example) to avoid any surprises. • The buffet was smaller than some other restaurants of this type, but there was still plenty to eat. → However, the presence of plastic (cellophane) on the sushi and maki intrigued me. I turned my head and saw flies... I think it's related, but I wonder why this isn't also done on the meat and fish dishes? → The sushi deserves some attention; there's a lot of rice (far too much, it's a solid block) and it's too vinegary. → The maki rolls, on the other hand... are good except for the avocado ones; the avocado wasn't ripe at all (very, very hard). ✓ The grill service is quite good. ✓ The meats are good overall. → The nuggets are very dry. ✓ The desserts are very good. → Be aware, however, that there are no descriptions of the ice creams. You have to guess the flavors... In conclusion: This is an all-you-can-eat restaurant that remains accessible (even for people with disabilities). It offers a warm welcome and respectful staff. The atmosphere is calm with traditional music playing in the background (which is fairly discreet). The decor is understated. A few details need improvement, as mentioned above. Currently, the prices are reasonable. Weekday lunch: €14.90 Weekend, evening, and holidays: €19.90
